Abstract

This research aims to analyze the improvement of sustainable quality and quality standards at the Madrasah Aliyah in Langkat. The study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive research. Data was collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The subjects of this study are the school principal, teachers, and students of Madrasah Aliyah in Langkat. The results show that the improvement of sustainable quality and quality standards at the Madrasah Aliyah in Langkat is achieved by planning innovative and distinctive programs to enhance the quality of the educational process and the quality of graduates, such as grouping language classes, Olympiad classes, research classes, acceleration classes, improving infrastructure quality, creating a conducive environment, developing extracurricular religious curriculum, trilingual speeches, arts and culture, and sports activities, all of which aim to improve the quality of graduates as the output of the education process carried out at the Madrasah.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the magnitude of the effect of motivation on employee performance at the Department of Social Affairs, Manpower and Transmigration Maros Regency . Theoretically, the results of this study are expected to develop scientific treasures and establish well-coordinated human relationships and roles in the field of human resources in the hope of making a contribution that leads to improving agency performance, through the application of motivation for social services, labor and transmigration in Maros Regency. The variables in this study are the motivational variable as the dependent variable, while the performance variable as the independent variable. The data collection technique uses observation and questionnaire methods as well as being the sample in this study as many as 53 employees. The results of this study indicate that partially the motivational variable has a significant positive effect, while simultaneous testing shows a significant positive effect on the performance of social service employees, labor and transmigration in Maros Regency. The coefficient of determination indicates that the ability of the independent variable to predict the influence of motivation has a moderate effect on employee performance. Therefore, it is necessary to pay attention to the provision of motivation by the leadership, especially the Head of the Social Service of Manpower and Transmigration in Maros Regency so that employees are more enthusiastic about working.

Abstract

The weak position of witness testimony of child victims of indecent crimes, due to the position of witness testimony of child victims cannot be fully accounted for in the criminal justice system. This article aims to describe the weak position of witness testimony of child victims of indecent crimes and the reasons for the unreliability of witness testimony of child victims of indecent crimes. This research is based on qualitative research by conducting a study of legislation, court decisions and literature studies. The results showed that the witness testimony of child victims of indecent acts is not considered valid evidence, but still has value as a clue. Article 188 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Procedure Code, the testimony of a child witness who is not sworn can be used as a clue even though it does not fulfil the formal requirements of evidence. In Supreme Court Decision Number 3913 K/Pid.Sus/2019, it is stated that child witness testimony, although it does not have full evidentiary power because it is not sworn, is still considered to strengthen other evidence. To fulfil the minimum requirement of two pieces of evidence, child witness testimony must be supported by other valid evidence. Therefore, the criminal justice system needs to give special treatment to child witness testimony in immoral cases so that it remains valuable in evidence.

Abstract

The arrival of refugees in Aceh province, specifically the Rohingya from other countries, initially received assistance from the Acehnese people while they were in the middle of the sea. However, in the following years, various challenges have arisen. As a response to this situation, Presidential Regulation No. 125 of 2016 was established to address the handling of refugees from abroad. This regulation highlights the role of the Central Government. However, there is currently no operational regulation from the local government regarding budgets, adaptation to customary values and local wisdom, and coordination with relevant institutions such as UNHCR, IOM, volunteers, police, and other organizations. It is crucial to establish Standard Operating Procedures that can serve as a reference for all parties involved in the process of locating, searching, and assisting refugees from abroad. Additionally, there is a need for the establishment of immigration detention centers in Aceh, as the current temporary shelters are only available in the cities of Lhokseumawe and North Aceh.

Abstract

Educational planning is a conscions effort and decision-making that has been carefully agread upon about things to be done in the future within a school instution for the purpose that have been planned beforehand. The reseach method used in this study is quantitative whit data collected using interviews, observation, and document, and documents. As for the qualifications regarding the results of reseach in the field regarding educator and educational planning at Madrasah Nurun Nabi Al-Islami, namely preparing teacher who have expertise in their scientific field, so that in carrying out the learning process teachers are expected to be able to convey material in accordance with learning objective, it is mandatory to be able to read the koran properly and correctly in terms of tajwid, makhrojil letters, educational staff who are in the madrasa are in the madrasa are dressed in Muslim and Muslim women

Abstract

Introduction: The dilemma in corruption cases, between legal certainty and substantive justice, places the judge's considerations as the main factor in ensuring a fair and effective decision. Purposes of the Research: This study aims to analyze the legal considerations of judges regarding perpetrators of corruption in decision No. 23/Pid.Sus-TPK/2024/PN Amb, as well as to analyze the imposition of sanctions on perpetratos of corruption from the perspective of the objectives of criminal punishment. Methods of the Research: The type of research used in this study is normative legal research. The approaches used are the legislative approach, the conceptual approach, and the case approach. The legal sources used are primary, secondary, and tertiary legal materials. The procedure for collecting legal materials is through literature study. The processing and analysis of legal materials use qualitative analysis. Results of the Research: The research results show that in Decision No. 23/Pid.Sus-TPK/2024/PN Amb, the panel of judges considered that although the subsidiary charges were proven, the defendant's actions were not categorized as a criminal offense because the state losses had been gradually recovered prior to the suspect's indictment, in accordance with the recommendations of the BPK's audit report through administrative mechanisms. Based on these considerations, the defendant was acquitted of all legal charges (onslag van alle rechtsvervolging) without being sentenced to any principal or additional penalties. Further research shows that the imposition of sanctions on perpetrators of corruption is not yet in line with the objectives of criminal punishment. The acquittal indicates that the acts charged were proven but did not constitute a criminal offense, so the defendant could not be punished, which means that the objective of criminal punishment to punish perpetrators of corruption was not achieved.

Abstract

Aceh dikenal sebagai wilayah yang memiliki praktik baik dalam penanganan pengungsi, khususnya pengungsi luar negeri yang terdampar di wilayah pesisir. Kota Lhokseumawe menjadi salah satu daerah yang aktif dalam penanganan pengungsi melalui kolaborasi antara pemerintah daerah, organisasi non-pemerintah, akademisi, dan masyarakat lokal. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat sinergi lintas lembaga dan masyarakat dalam penanganan pengungsi melalui model pendampingan yang berbasis kearifan lokal Aceh dan pendekatan hukum yang berkeadilan. Metode pengabdian dilakukan melalui diskusi kelompok terarah (FGD), sosialisasi hukum, serta pendampingan komunitas yang melibatkan berbagai pemangku kepentingan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat mengenai hak dan kewajiban pengungsi, peran dan tanggung jawab masing-masing lembaga, serta pentingnya internalisasi nilai kearifan lokal Aceh seperti peumulia jamee dalam memperkuat pendekatan kemanusiaan. Model pendampingan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi rujukan dalam penanganan pengungsi yang berkelanjutan, humanis dan berkeadilan di tingkat lokal.

Abstract

Research of the diversity macrozoobenthos in Batu Bara Regency is crucial to identify the current condition of coastal ecosystems. This information can provide an overview of water quality, resource sustainability status, and serve as a basis for better planning and management of coastal areas. This research is also expected to serve as a reference for developing strategies to mitigate the negative impacts of human activities on coastal ecosystems, ensuring the balance of ecosystems and the preservation of biodiversity. This research will be analyze diversity and abundance (ind/ha) of macrozoobenthos, ecological index data and physical environmental factors and substrate characteristics. The diversity of macrozoobenthos at Sujono Beach, Sejarah Beach, and Kresek Beach consists of three phyla, six classes, and 28 species. The abundance of macrozoobenthos at Sujono Beach is 2459 ind/m3, at Sejarah Beach is 1525 ind/m3, and at Kresek Beach is 1218 ind/m3. The species richness index, diversity index, and evenness index of macrozoobenthos at all three beaches fall into the moderate category, while in the dominance index, none of the beaches have dominating species. The substrate characteristics at Sujono Beach have a sandy clay texture, while at Sejarah Beach and Kresek Beach, they have a dusty clay texture.

Abstract

Luhu Village, West Seram Regency has a Cinabar Stone Mine. In addition to the people of Luhu Village, many people from outside the area also come to seek a living at the location. On the one hand, the community is very grateful because the results of the mining activities are very noticeable for improving the family economy, so that many of the needs of families and school children can be met. However, on the other hand, the mining activities they carry out do not have a permit from the government and are illegal activities. Law No. 4 of 2009 has regulated in detail the mining procedures, where the perpetrators, both individuals and legal entities who carry out mining activities without a permit, are declared illegal miners. The research method used in this study is Normative Empirical. The data needed was obtained, both from the West Seram Police, and from the community around the mining area. From the data collected, after being analyzed, it can be concluded that 1) Legal handling of illegal mining crimes in Luhu Village is carried out in three stages of handling; a) Socialization is carried out to the community, b) Preventive measures are taken, and c) Repressive measures are taken against perpetrators who are still stubborn; 2) In carrying out law enforcement, there are obstacles, both related to geographical factors, minimal personnel and supporting equipment, limited economic conditions of the community and cultural factors.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh keterbatasan penggunaan media pembelajaran yang berdampak pada rendahnya pemahaman konsep dan keterampilan komunikasi. Sehingga, diperlukan upaya perbaikan melalui pengembangan media pembelajaran yang inovatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan media pembelajaran rolling ball energy game untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dan keterampilan komunikasi siswa di Kelas IV SDN 1 Gelogor. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (research and development) dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi tahap analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Metode pengumpulan data berupa tes, angket, wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan terdiri dari angket validasi ahli media dan ahli materi, angket respon siswa dan respon guru, tes pemahaman konsep, serta angket keterampilan komunikasi siswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media rolling ball energy game dinyatakan valid berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli media 95% dan ahli materi 80%. Media dinyatakan praktis berdasarkan hasil kepraktisan dari guru 97,5% dan respon siswa 89%. Media dinyatakan cukup efektif berdasarkan hasil perhitungan N-Gain sebesar 0,60 pada pemahaman konsep dan 0,57 pada keterampilan komunikasi yang berada pada kategori sedang. Oleh karena itu, media rolling ball energy game dapat disimpulkan layak, praktis, dan cukup efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran.
