Abstract

Creative thinking is the process of coming up with original, adaptable, and visually appealing solutions to problems. Creative thinking is the continuous process of thinking about and creating creative things in order to achieve objectives. Students find the project-based learning approach and the learning process to be interesting experiences. Student learning experiences with the upcoming project serve as the focus of the instructional materials. Students learn more and feel more motivated to complete assigned projects when they are given real-world experience in the learning process. Students learn more and feel more motivated to complete the assigned project when they are given real-world experience in the learning process. Creative thinking is the process of coming up with original, adaptable, and visually appealing solutions to problems. This study looked into how collaboration between groups improved collaborative learning groups' performance on project-based learning tasks and the co-construction of knowledge. The findings of two case studies, one on between-group mentoring and one on between-group project review, revealed that both strategies were viewed favorably by the students and had a positive impact on all students' project performance, particularly in the less effective groups, as well as the knowledge revealed through their online dialogue. The findings shed some light on how students in higher education engage in computer-supported collaborative learning.

Abstract

This study examines a community engagement initiative aimed at enhancing the entrepreneurial competencies of santri at an Islamic boarding school in West Java, Indonesia. The programme was implemented on 1 November 2025 and involved more than 200 santri. Employing an experiential learning approach, the intervention consisted of interactive training sessions, Business Model Canvas workshops, and experience-sharing activities with successful entrepreneurs who were alumni of Islamic boarding schools. The instructional content covered fundamental entrepreneurship concepts, development of the entrepreneurial mindset, opportunity identification, digital marketing, basic financial management, and Islamic entrepreneurship principles. Pre-test results indicated that 65% of participants had a limited understanding of entrepreneurship, whereas post-test findings revealed substantial improvement, with 85% demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of core entrepreneurial concepts.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship plays a crucial role in fostering innovation, reducing unemployment, and strengthening national economic resilience. In Indonesia, the integration of entrepreneurship education with school-based business incubation programs has become increasingly important, particularly in addressing the high unemployment rate among high school graduates. This study examines the influence of Entrepreneurship Education (X1) and Business Incubation (X2) on Entrepreneurial Interest (Y), with Family Environment (Z) functioning as a mediating variable among private high school students in Central Jakarta Region II. Using a quantitative survey method, data were collected from 371 students selected through simple random sampling from a population of 4,940 students participating in entrepreneurship programs and school incubators. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was applied to test the measurement and structural models, including direct, indirect, and mediation effects. The results show that both entrepreneurship education and business incubation have significant positive effects on students’ entrepreneurial interest. Entrepreneurship education enhances students’ knowledge, skills, and confidence, while incubation programs strengthen practical experience through mentoring, project-based activities, and exposure to real business environments. The family environment also demonstrates a significant mediating effect by reinforcing students’ entrepreneurial motivation through emotional support, role modeling, and encouragement. These findings align with major theoretical frameworks, including the Theory of Planned Behavior, Social Learning Theory, and Entrepreneurial Learning Theory, which emphasize the interplay of education, experience, and social context in shaping entrepreneurial intentions. Overall, the study highlights the importance of strengthening school-based incubation and fostering family involvement to develop competitive young entrepreneurs capable of contributing to economic development.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a model for digital-based youth entrepreneurship through the activities of Karang Taruna Indonesia (KTI) in Melong Village, South Cimahi District, Cimahi City. Using a descriptive qualitative approach with research and development (R&D) methods, this study combines field observations, interviews, and focus group discussions with members and administrators of Karang Taruna. The findings show that entrepreneurial activities within KTI are still conventional and have not been integrated with digital marketing platforms. The developed model emphasizes three components: input, process, and output, which include training, mentoring, and digital literacy enhancement. Validation results from experts and practitioners indicate that the model is feasible for implementation and can be used as a reference for developing youth entrepreneurship in other community organizations.

Abstract

Objective: To develop and test an entrepreneurial success model for creative micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in West Java, Indonesia, by examining five entrepreneur-level factors entrepreneurial self-efficacy, entrepreneurial alertness, entrepreneurial creativity, opportunity recognition, and entrepreneurial orientation and to derive implications for entrepreneurship education. Methods: A quantitative explanatory survey of 432 creative-industry MSME owners was conducted (January–March 2025). Data were analyzed using PLS-SEM (SmartPLS 4) to estimate direct and mediating effects. The analysis followed standard procedures for outer/inner model evaluation (indicator loadings ≥0.70 where retained; reliability and HTMT satisfied) and bootstrapping (5,000 resamples) for path significance. Results: All five factors contributed significantly to entrepreneurial success. Self-efficacy, alertness, and entrepreneurial orientation showed positive direct effects, while creativity mediated the effects of self-efficacy and alertness, and opportunity recognition mediated the effects of alertness and entrepreneurial orientation. The structural model explained R² = 0.716 (71.6%) of the variance in success (creativity R² = 0.644; opportunity recognition R² = 0.584), indicating substantial explanatory power. Novelty: The study shows that entrepreneurial traits influence success primarily through the mediating mechanisms of creativity and opportunity recognition. This trait–mechanism coupling provides a clearer explanation of how entrepreneur-level factors translate into performance and offers actionable guidance for entrepreneurship education targeting these mediating capabilities.

Abstract

Firms in developing economies operate under persistent pressure from volatile competition, inflationary dynamics, infrastructural constraints, and regulatory rigidity. This study advances the literature by positioning organizational capability as an endogenous mediating mechanism that explains how external environmental conditions are converted into firm-level performance outcomes in a traditional manufacturing B2B context. Using a quantitative design, data were collected from 212 embroidery SMEs through random sampling and analyzed using descriptive and inferential techniques. The analysis indicates that organizational capability conditions the extent to which environmental pressures are associated with variations in business performance, suggesting that firms with stronger internal capabilities are more able to coordinate resources, process information, and align differentiated offerings with customer demands.

Abstract

In the digital transformation era, differentiated learning is an important strategy for addressing diverse students’ needs. This study examines the influence of teacher self-efficacy on readiness to implement differentiated learning and the mediating role of Technological, Pedagogical, and Content Knowledge (TPACK)-based Dynamic Capability. Using a quantitative approach and a survey of 73 economics teachers in Islamic high schools in Central Java, Indonesia, the data were analyzed using PLS-SEM. The results show that self-efficacy does not directly affect teacher readiness. However, self-efficacy significantly affects TPACK-based dynamic capability, which in turn significantly affects teacher readiness. The indirect mediation effect of TPACK-based dynamic capability reinforces the importance of adaptive professional capacity in e-learning integration. The main scientific contribution of this study is the introduction of a new construct, namely TPACK-based Dynamic Capability, which combines psychological theory (self-efficacy) with the TPACK framework through a dynamic capability perspective. This construct represents teachers’ ability to adaptively integrate technological, pedagogical, and content knowledge in changing contexts. The practical implication is that teacher professional development programs must emphasize increasing self-efficacy and TPACK-based adaptive skills to create effective differentiated learning in the digital era.
