Abstract

This bibliometric study explored psychoeducational interventions targeting sexual risk behaviors among college students from 1990 to 2024. A total of 1,847 publications were analyzed from Web of Science, Scopus, PubMed, PsycINFO, and ERIC. Temporal mapping revealed three developmental stages: emergence (1990–2005), rapid expansion (2006–2015), and consolidation (2016–2024), with an average annual growth rate of 8.4%. Most studies originated from North America, particularly the United States (68.3%). The Information-Motivation-Behavioral Skills Model was the most frequently applied framework (16.9%), followed by the Theory of Planned Behavior (15.6%). Group-based psychoeducational workshops demonstrated the greatest impact (Cohen’s d = 0.67) and strong cost-effectiveness, while digital interventions expanded outreach but struggled with sustained engagement. The interventions were most effective in reducing sexual coercion (40.7%) and improving STI status discussions (40.8%). Over time, research evolved from disease prevention to holistic wellness promotion. Nevertheless, regional disparities and limited cultural adaptation remain key challenges for global implementation.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the psychospiritual dimensions of Digital Emotional Dependence (DED) in the context of Islamic da'wah and communication, and analyze its impact on the effectiveness of Islamic educational technology and ethical engagement in religious digital platforms. The study uses a phenomenological approach with a systematic literature review of empirical research from 2010-2024 that examines the neurobiological, psychological, and spiritual aspects of digital dependency in religious communication. The analysis was conducted on the neurological dimensions (prefrontal cortex and amygdala activity), neurotransmitter mechanisms (dopamine and serotonin), and subjective experiences of spiritual emotional regulation in the context of digital da'wah. The findings show that DED in digital da'wah is correlated with decreased capacity for tafakkur (spiritual contemplation), impaired regulation of religious emotions, and fragmentation of spiritual experiences. Digital dependency creates dissonance between the consumption of religious content and the implementation of Islamic values, resulting in maladaptive coping mechanisms that hinder authentic spiritual transformation. Respondents showed increased impulsivity in religious digital interactions and decreased ability to deeply contemplate da'wah messages. Conclusion: A holistic intervention is needed that integrates Islamic digital literacy, dhikr and muraqabah-based spiritual practices, and a tawhid-based cognitive-behavioral approach to optimize digital religious communication and prevent counterproductive emotional dependence on Islamic spiritual goals.

Abstract

This bibliometric study explores the research landscape on father involvement in parenting as a foundation for family counseling interventions to prevent klitih behavior among adolescents. Data were collected from Scopus and Web of Science (2014–2024), yielding 1,245 publications. Bibliometric mapping and trend analysis were conducted using VOSviewer, Biblioshiny, and R-Studio. Findings identified four major clusters: father involvement and child development (38%), family counseling interventions (29%), adolescent risk behaviors and violence (21%), and cultural contexts in parenting (12%). Research output increased substantially, from 45 articles in 2014 to 187 in 2024, with peak interest between 2020-2022. The United States led contributions (34%), followed by Australia (18%) and the United Kingdom (15%), while Southeast Asia accounted for only 6%. Key frameworks included Attachment Theory, Family Systems Theory, and Social Learning Theory. The study highlights research gaps in culturally specific interventions and emphasizes the need for father-focused counseling models to prevent adolescent violence. Abstract

This study offers a bibliometric evaluation of the development trends, collaborative networks, and knowledge framework in Asian Islamic Educational Psychology from 2010 to 2024. Data were obtained from the Scopus and Web of Science databases, resulting in 1,247 papers that satisfied the inclusion criteria. Analytical instruments including VOSviewer and Bibliometrix R were utilized to delineate co-authorship networks, co-citation trends, keyword co-occurrence, and theme progression. The findings indicate Indonesia's pivotal position as the hub of research, bolstered by its numerous Islamic higher education institutions and international partnerships with Malaysia, Brunei, Pakistan, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Western nations such the United States and the United Kingdom. Thematic mapping reveals three primary orientations: (1) development of conceptual and theoretical models, (2) psychological techniques in socio-religious contexts, and (3) developing current challenges such as gender, artificial intelligence, leadership, and multiculturalism. The historical progression indicates a transition from conventional themes, including higher education and pedagogy (2018–2020), to multidisciplinary subjects such as psychology, gender, and knowledge (2020–2022), culminating in a focus on balanced leadership, systematic reviews, and evidence-based methodologies (2022–2024). This study confirms that Islamic teaching Psychology in Asia is progressing beyond mere identity reinforcement to actively participating in global scientific discourse, merging traditional Islamic epistemology with contemporary psychological frameworks and technology-enhanced teaching methodologies.

Abstract

This study explores the role of motivation, self-efficacy, and peer support in influencing student engagement in higher education, aiming to connect theoretical perspectives with practical applications. A quantitative correlational research design was utilized, involving 223 university students from various faculties. Participants completed validated questionnaires measuring intrinsic and extrinsic motivation, academic self-efficacy, perceived peer support, and student engagement's behavioral, emotional, and cognitive dimensions. Data were analyzed using multiple regression techniques to determine the predictive strength of each variable. Results revealed that motivation and self-efficacy were significant predictors of student engagement, explaining a substantial portion of the variance. Peer support also demonstrated a comparatively more minor positive effect on engagement. These findings highlight the importance of internal psychological and external social influences in enhancing student engagement. The study supports integrating motivation theory and social learning principles into educational practice. Practical implications suggest that educators should foster supportive peer environments while promoting student motivation and confidence to improve learning outcomes. This research contributes to the growing body of literature emphasizing the multifaceted nature of student engagement and offers a foundation for future intervention-based studies in diverse educational settings.

Abstract

Indonesia's geographical location renders it highly susceptible to natural disasters, including frequent flooding along major river basins like the Bengawan Solo. Young children are particularly vulnerable during such events, yet disaster risk reduction (DRR) education tailored for early childhood settings remains underdeveloped. This qualitative case study describes the implementation and perceived effectiveness of an interactive, play-based DRR education program on flood preparedness for preschoolers at TKIU Birrul Walidain Muhammadiyah Plupuh, Sragen, near the Bengawan Solo River.  Over three months, the program used evacuation scenarios, educational games, and creative storytelling.  Participants observed and analyzed program documentation, including activity reports and photos.  Engaging young children in interactive learning about flood hazards, warning signals, and safe evacuation techniques was beneficial.  The activities raised children's awareness and enthusiasm.  The study suggests including age-appropriate, interactive DRR teaching into early childhood curriculum to build resilience.  It supports research indicating even young children can participate in DRR activities, making places safer (Proulx & Aboud, 2019).  DRR should be integrated into preschool curricula and longitudinal research should be done to examine long-term effects
