Abstract

Indonesia menduduki peringkat kelima untuk angka kematian paling tinggi yang disebabkan oleh bencana alam. Pengenalan mitigasi bencana menjadi kebutuhan yang wajib dilakukan melalui kegiatan yang anak gemari. Penelitian dengan tema mengenalkan mitigasi bencana pada anak usia dini melalui edugame berbasis STEAM memiliki tujuan untuk mengurangi resiko terjadinya bencana alam yang dapat dilakukan atas kelalaian manusia, dan anak mampu melindungi dirinya dari ancaman bencana. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) model Waterfall. Hasil Kesimpulan dari penelitian adalah edugame mitigasi bencana berbasis STEAM dapat mengenalkan langkah yang harus dilakukan anak ketika berada dalam situasi bencana dan dampak terjadinya bencana alam. Rekomenasi pada penelitian lanjutkan ialah adanya edugame yang focus membuat langkah-langkah kelestarian alam yang bertujuan mencegah terjadinya bencana

Abstract

Narcotics are a substance that is very dangerous if its use is misused and permission is not obtained from the authorities, narcotics will damage the nation's next generation who will run the government in the future. The rise in the use of narcotics is in line with the influx of globalization and modernization which makes it easier for people to obtain them as well as a network of dealers who are aggressively looking for marketing targets among young people who are susceptible to sweet advances and do not yet have clear life principles. Indonesia is one of the countries that is fighting drug dealers, users and networks, this is because every 17 seconds someone is arrested for violating drug-related laws. Indonesia has 2 laws that regulate the misuse of narcotics, namely Law No. 35 of 2009 and Law No. 5 of 1997. All of them are clear about the sanctions and dangers of using narcotics, the punishment can even be death. This service journal refers to biological theory which explains the biological theory of the brain, metabolic imbalance theory, and genetic theory. Many experts, especially biological experts, say that narcotics will damage brain growth and development. This service journal uses literature and seminar methods which are expected to provide an explanation of a situation where an individual or person will have a bleak future if they fall into the use of narcotics because it will damage brain tissue and damage the body. As early as possible, we will unite together to fight against narcotics, not only for law officers who work, but all elements of society are involved in fighting the use of narcotics which has penetrated young people, especially among teenagers who are still at school, who are vulnerable to the temptation of using narcotics.

Abstract

Loose part adalah metode pembelajaran yang menggunakan bahan-bahan alam atau benda sekitar yang memungkinkan anak untuk berkreasi secara bebas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan metode loose part dalam pengenalan bentuk bilangan 1-10 pada anak usia dini di PAUD Taam Iqra. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan wawancara. Subjek penelitian adalah anak usia 5-6 tahun yang mengalami kesulitan mengenal lambang bilangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media loose part, seperti kulit kerang, biji-bijian, dan batu, meningkatkan kemampuan anak dalam mengenal bentuk bilangan 1-10. Anak-anak yang sebelumnya mengalami kesulitan dalam mengenal bilangan, setelah diberikan kebebasan memilih media, menunjukkan perkembangan signifikan dalam mengenali angka. Implementasi metode ini juga mendorong kreativitas, keterlibatan aktif, dan tanggung jawab anak dalam pembelajaran. Selain itu, loose part terbukti menarik minat anak sehingga mereka belajar sambil bermain, meningkatkan kemampuan mereka dalam mengenal bilangan bahkan hingga lebih dari angka 10. Kesimpulannya, pembelajaran menggunakan media loose part dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif dan motivasi belajar anak dalam mengenal bilangan pada Pendidikan anak usia dini.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the implementation of the use of letter cards in stimulating the ability to recognize letters in group B at Permata Bunda Kindergarten. Recognizing letters in early childhood is one of the basic skills that is very important in supporting children's cognitive development and literacy abilities. One medium that can be used to improve the ability to recognize letters is by using letter cards. The subjects in this research were 22 children from group B at Permata Bunda Kindergarten. Data was obtained from observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the research show that the use of letter cards significantly increases children's ability to recognize letters compared to conventional methods. Children who are taught using letter cards recognize the letters of the alphabet more quickly and show a higher interest in learning. Apart from that, using letter cards also has a positive impact on children's fine motor skills and communication abilities.

Abstract

Engklek game is a traditional game that involves physical activity in the form of jumping on one leg, walking, and maintaining balance. This study aims to examine the implementation of the engklek game in improving the gross motor skills of children aged 4-5 years at RA Al-Khairiyah. This activity is believed to be able to stimulate the development of gross motor skills in early childhood. Gross motor skills include large body movements such as walking, jumping, and running which require muscle coordination and physical strength. This study uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. The objects of this study were 15 children. The results of the study showed that the implementation of the engklek game can improve gross motor skills, there is an increase in balance, muscle strength, and motor coordination after playing regularly. The success factors of the engklek game are influenced by the active involvement of children, teacher support, and consistent frequency and duration of the game. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that the engklek game is one of the effective learning methods in developing the gross motor skills of early childhood. This game can be used as a routine activity at school, because besides being easy to do, it also does not require complicated equipment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan media kolase batu warna dalam pembelajaran matematika awal serta mengetahui bagaimana media tersebut dapat menstimulasi kemampuan matematika anak usia 4–5 tahun. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian adalah 15 anak kelompok A di TK Mangga. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media kolase batu warna efektif digunakan untuk mengenalkan konsep-konsep matematika dasar seperti klasifikasi, pola, jumlah, ukuran, dan perbandingan. Selain itu, media ini juga membantu dalam mengembangkan keterampilan motorik halus, kemampuan bahasa, serta sosial-emosional anak. Aktivitas bermain sambil belajar menggunakan batu warna memungkinkan anak belajar secara konkret dan menyenangkan, sesuai dengan karakteristik tahap praoperasional menurut Piaget. Dengan demikian, media kolase batu warna menjadi alternatif pembelajaran inovatif yang mampu menciptakan suasana belajar bermakna dan menyenangkan di PAUD.

Abstract

Konstruksi gender dalam praktik pengasuhan anak usia dini seringkali mencerminkan bias implisit yang dapat memengaruhi perkembangan identitas anak. Pemahaman orang tua yang terbatas tentang kesetaraan gender menyoroti perlunya intervensi pendidikan melalui program pengabdian masyarakat. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dalam bentuk seminar satu hari di PAUD Insan Unggul Pulo Panjang, yang melibatkan guru dan orang tua. Tujuannya adalah untuk memberikan kesadaran kritis tentang bias gender dalam pengasuhan dan mendorong terciptanya praktik pengasuhan yang lebih setara. Metode yang digunakan terdiri dari ceramah, studi kasus, dan refleksi kolektif, menggunakan analisis kualitatif melalui observasi partisipatif dan diskusi, alih-alih instrumen pretes-postes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peserta mampu mengidentifikasi bias gender dalam pengasuhan mereka, mengenali dampak negatifnya terhadap perkembangan anak, dan merumuskan strategi praktis untuk memperlakukan anak secara setara. Refleksi kritis orang tua menegaskan bahwa kesadaran akan bias gender dapat mendorong perubahan transformatif menuju pengasuhan yang lebih adil. Kegiatan ini telah terbukti bermanfaat dalam memperkuat literasi gender dalam keluarga dan sekolah, sehingga mendukung promosi kesetaraan sejak usia dini. Kata kunci: Pengabdian masyarakat, konstruksi gender, pengasuhan anak usia dini, kesetaraan.

Abstract

Anak usia dini merupakan periode dengan perkembangan yang luar biasa. Dimasa ini perkembangan kemampuan kognitif, kemampuan berbahasa, keterampilan motorik dan pengembangan sosial emosional mengalami perkembangan yang pesat. Keterampilan motorik halus sangat penting  dalam perkembangan anak karena memiliki dampak positif terhadap kemampuan anak dalam  menggunting, memegang pensil dengan benar, menulis, menggambar, atau melakukan tugas sehari-hari untuk melatih kemandiriannya. Penerapan kegiatan montase di PAUD Al-Khairiyah Delingseng adalah langkah yang epektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan motorik halus anak usia dini. Montase adalah sebuah karya yang dihasilkan dengan cara memotong gambar dari berbagai sumber dan kemudian menyatukannya sehingga terbentuk suatu karya  yang memiliki tema. Kegiatan  montase Membantu anak dalam mengembangkan motorik halus mereka sambil merangsang kreativitas. Dalam kegiatan ini anak-anak belajar mengendalikan gerakan tangan untuk memotong, menempel dan menyusun gambar menjadi suatu kreativitas. Metode penelitian menggunakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Dengan pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sebagai sumber data dari penelitian ini adalah Guru kelas B1 dan 5 orang siswa kelas B1. Dari hasil observasi dan wawancara peneliti menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan montase gambar kendaraan mampu meningkatkan keterampilan motorik halus anak yang terlihat dari kemampuan anak dalam memegang Gunting, menggunting sesuai pola, menempel gambar dengan tepat.

Abstract

This research is based on the urgency of the motor development process is very closely related to the motor center in the brain. Motor skills develop in line with muscle and nerve maturation. In this case, it was found that the fine motor skills of children aged 4-5 years were considered lacking based on the results of observations in the activities of scissors, drawing lines and in controlling the coordination of hand and eye movements at KB PAUD Citra Nusantara. This study uses a quantitative method with an approach using  the One Group Pretest-Posttest Design pre-experimental model  in this study, 35 students and students aged 4-5 years from classes A1 and A2. They were observed twice: before (pretest) and after (posttest) doing finger painting activities. This method starts with collecting data, interpreting it and then producing appearances and results. The data collection techniques are observation and documentation. The technique of measuring observation items uses a Likert scale. The data validity technique uses the Correl  formula in Microshoft Excel and uses a significance of 5%. The technical data analysis uses the N-gain Score. The place for this research was carried out at KB PAUD Citra Nusantara, Bojong Village, Ragas Masigit Village, Carenang District, and was carried out in February-March 2023. Based on the results of observation and data processing, it can be concluded that the Improvement of Fine Motor Skills of Children Aged 4-5 Years through Finger Painting Activities at KB PAUD Citra Nusantara shows an increase of 74% with the level of effectiveness quite effective.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of the principal in improving teacher performance at Nuruzzahro Lower Primary Education, Cilegon City. The principal holds an important responsibility in guiding, mentoring, and motivating teachers to carry out their duties optimally. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects consisted of the principal and teachers at Nuruzzahro Lower Primary Education. The results show that the principal actively contributes to enhancing teacher performance through regular supervision, motivation, training, and by creating a supportive work environment. The principal also establishes effective communication and maintains good relationships with all educators. These efforts have a positive impact on improving discipline, responsibility, and professional competence among teachers. Therefore, it can be concluded that the principal plays a significant role in improving teacher performance at Nuruzzahro Lower Primary Education. Effective leadership is a key factor in enhancing the quality of education.
