In addition, the discovery of new cases of BTA (+) CNR also occupied the highest place for 3 consecutive years in 2015, 2016 and 2017. Even though in 2017 the number of new case finds of BTA (+) decreased drastically from the previous year, which was 284 per year. 100,000 population, but still ranked 1st CNR new cases of BTA (+).The purpose of this study was to analyze physical environmental factors that influence the incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis in Magelang City. This study used a case control research design. The population consisted of all people who had been tested for pulmonary tuberculosis at the puskesmas. The sample consisted of 100 pulmonary tuberculosis patients and 100 non-pulmonary TB patients taken using purposive sampling technique. The instrument uses a questionnaire sheet, checklist, observation, room thermometer, hygrometer, and meter. Data analysis used Chi-square test and logistic regression test. The results of the analysis show that there is a relationship between lighting (p-value 0.043), humidity (p-value 0.045), room temperature (p-value 0.021) with the incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis. Multivariate analysis showed that room temperature was not ideal, with an OR of 0.321 which had the most influence on the incidence of pulmonary TB.The most dominant physical environmental factor is room temperature which is not ideal. Abstract

Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) and Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) remain a challenge and public health problem in the world. The biggest obstacle to encounter HIV and AIDS is stigma and discrimination. Citizens Who Care about AIDS (WPA) is a form of community participation in mobilizing the society to be involved in HIV-AIDS prevention and control. Data from the AIDS Prevention Commission (KPA) Semarang City shows that most WPA do not have work programs and have not carried out administrative activities, therefore making it difficult for KPA to conduct monitoring and evaluation. The purpose of this study was to analyze predisposing factors (age, gender, marital status, occupation, educations, level of knowledge, stigma and discrimination), enabling factors (availability of health facilities, support for health services) and reinforcing factors (stakeholder support, regulation, social culture). This study used the Cross Sectional Study method. The research sample consisted of 100 people using the Proportional Stratified Random Sampling technique. The technique of collecting data by interview using a questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using the chi-square test and logistic regression. The results showed that there was an effect of knowledge (p = 0.002), stigma of discrimination (p = 0.000), stakeholder support (p = 0.000), socio-culture (p = 0.016) on WPA performance. The most influential variable is stake holder support (p = 0.000. OR = 3.656). The involvement of stakeholder support is really needed for better WPA performance.

Abstract

Hypertension is a serious medical condition that can increase the risk of heart failure, chronic kidney disease, brain disease and others. Hypertension is a major risk factor for global death. Uncontrolled hypertension was defined as a measure of systolic blood pressure ≥140 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure ≥90 mmHg based on the mean of three measurements in hypertensive patients and with or without antihypertensive treatment. Chronic disease management (Prolanis) is a proactive and integrated program that involves participants, health facilities, especially health centers and the national health insurance called BPJS which aims to encourage patients with chronic diseases to achieve optimal quality of life. The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors associated with the incidence of uncontrolled hypertension in Prolanis patients in Semarang City. This study used case control method. The research sample consisted of 148 respondents (74 cases and 74 controls) with a purposive sampling technique. The technique of collecting data by interview using a questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using the chi-square  test and logistic regression. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between the variables of age (p = 0.003), education (p = 0.032), stress (p = 0.023) and cholesterol levels (p = 0.008) with the incidence of uncontrolled hypertension in Prolanis patients in Semarang City. The most related variable was age (p = 0.028. OR = 3.469). Increasing age related to risk factors for hypertension is supported by the presence of psychological problems such as stress, can be reduced by spiritual activity and the provision of health education about changes in the cardiovascular system and adaptation to lifestyle changes will be able to reduce uncontrolled hypertension factors.
