Abstract

The purpose of this study is to provide a broader and deeper view of the readiness of family businesses in the face of the era of digital disruption 4.0. The sample used in this study was 93 family business units, with the method of Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) assisted by SMART-PLS. Based on the results of the hypothesis proposed that directly entrepreneurial and managerial competencies in the family business have a positive and significant effect on industry 4.0 readiness. Competence, especially in the implementation of managerial competencies for business owners. The managerial competency indicators is known as professional, social and personal. Indirectly, family businesses can implement business strategies that are by the characteristics of their business so they can adapt to rapidly changing conditions.Implementation of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is considered to be crucial in facing the Industry 4.0.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pemanfaatan teknologi digital dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di SMP Negeri 2 Sulang Rembang. Dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, penelitian ini melibatkan kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, guru, siswa, komite sekolah, dan orang tua sebagai informan utama. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan teknologi digital telah memberikan dampak positif dalam mendukung pembelajaran, manajemen data, serta keterlibatan siswa, meskipun masih terdapat kendala seperti keterbatasan infrastruktur dan literasi digital. Peran kepala sekolah sangat strategis dalam merancang kebijakan, memberikan pelatihan, serta memfasilitasi kolaborasi antar pemangku kepentingan. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya sinergi antara pemerintah, sekolah, dan masyarakat untuk menciptakan ekosistem pendidikan berbasis digital yang efektif. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi rujukan bagi sekolah lain dalam mengimplementasikan digitalisasi pendidikan untuk peningkatan mutu secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study aims to examine learning community management in strengthening differentiated learning for teachers at Tambakrejo 01 Elementary School, Gayamsari, Semarang City. The background of this research is based on the urgency of improving teachers' pedagogical competence in responding to the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum, especially in designing and implementing differentiated learning in accordance with students' learning readiness, interests, and learning profiles. The approach used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through participatory observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman interactive model, including data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that learning community management in the school has been effectively implemented, including careful planning, participatory organization, consistent implementation, and reflective evaluation. Teachers are active in developing differentiated teaching modules, diagnostic assessment, and joint reflection. The learning community contributes significantly to improving teacher competence and transforming learning practices to be more adaptive, equitable, and learner-centered. This study concludes that effective learning community management is a key strategy in implementing differentiated learning and realizing Merdeka Curriculum in elementary schools.

Abstract

The development of the increasingly advanced century at this time has resulted in humanistic literacy at the elementary school level being eroded, learning about humanistic values, history, and culture in elementary schools is disappearing and resulting in the character values of students becoming more and more deteriorating. The CRT learning model is a solution to this problem that can be done for now. Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) is a theoretical approach that aims to help students accept and reinforce their cultural identity, as well as improve learning achievement. Humanistic literacy is the basis of behavior in society and participation in social life that is important to be improved. his research aims to strengthen humanistic literacy by using the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach in order to introduce Indonesia's cultural diversity to students, this is expected to help students understand the cultural richness that exists in Indonesia, as well as become individuals who are able to appreciate and respect the cultural diversity around them. The sample of this study is grade IV students of SD Negeri Palebon 01, Semarang City. This type of research uses interpretive qualitative research and interpretive qualitative research is an approach in research that focuses on an in-depth understanding of social phenomena from the perspective of the participants or subjects being studied. The data collection techniques in this study are observation, interviews, journal reflections and documentation. The data analysis technique in this study is copying data from interviews, observations, analyzing data, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that the application of the Cultural Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach is very feasible in optimizing humanistic literacy in elementary schools. This learning design emphasizes the importance of understanding and improving students' social foundation values, as well as incorporating their social values and honing learning preparation.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of financial management transparency, professional development, and academic supervision on teacher job satisfaction in public elementary schools in Gunungpati District, Semarang City. The research population consisted of all 161 public elementary school teachers in the district, comprising both civil servant and non-civil servant teachers. A total sample of 113 respondents was selected using proportional random sampling based on the Slovin formula with a 5% margin of error. Data were primarily collected through a structured Likert-scale questionnaire, developed from validated theoretical constructs and tested for reliability (Cronbach’s Alpha > 0.70). The study also used secondary data from school documents, government regulations, and reports from the Semarang City Education Office. This research employed a quantitative approach with a survey method and applied both simple and multiple linear regression analyses using SPSS software. The results revealed that: (1) financial management transparency significantly affects teacher job satisfaction (t = 19.327 > 1.975, Sig = 0.000, contribution = 70.1%, r = 0.836); (2) professional development has a significant effect (t = 19.491 > 1.975, Sig = 0.000, contribution = 70.5%, r = 0.840); (3) academic supervision significantly influences satisfaction (t = 20.850 > 1.975, Sig = 0.000, contribution = 73.2%, r = 0.856); and (4) all three variables jointly influence teacher job satisfaction significantly (F = 229.449 > 2.66, Sig = 0.000, joint contribution = 81.4%, r = 0.902). These findings confirm that transparency, development, and supervision are key predictors of teacher job satisfaction, and the study recommends that school leaders enhance these managerial aspects to foster a more satisfied teaching workforce.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh model Problem Based Learning pada kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik kelas V SDN Mlatiharjo 01 bisa dideskripsikan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDN Mlatiharjo 01 Kota Semarang dengan sampel peserta didik kelas V yang berjumlah 28 peserta didik dan memuat 16 anak laki-laki dan 12 anak perempuan dijadikan sebagai populasi dalam studi ini. Sampling Nonprobality sampling dengan sampling jenuh adalah teknik yang dipakai untuk mengambil sampel. Metode yang dipakai dalam studi ini adalah eksperimen yang merupakan jenis dari metode kuantitatif dengan memakai Pre-Experimental Design dengan bentuk One-Grup Pretest-Posttest Design. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah soal evaluasi dan lembar observasi. Uji normalitas dan uji paired sample t-test adalah sejumlah pengujian yang dipakai untuk menganalisis data yang sudah dikumpulkan. Hasil uji paired dengan memanfaatkan aplikasi SPSS memperlihatkan bahwa secara positif kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik kelas V materi analisis data mendapat pengaruh dari implementasi model Problem Based Learning. Berlandaskan hasil SPSS dengan pengujian paired sample t test didapat hasil nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sejumlah 0,000, dimana nilai itu di bawah 0,05 dan didapatkan bahwa skor mean kemampuan pemecahan masalah melebihi skor mean sebelum model itu diimplementasikan, yakni 88,11 > 74,00. Berkaitan dengan hal itu bisa diambil kesimpulan bahwa secara signifikan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika pada data pretest dan posttest memperlihatkan adanya perbedaan yang nyata.

Abstract

Matematika berfungsi mengkomunikasikan pikiran siswa tentang ide dengan jelas, tepat, dan ringkas. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan perbedaan model Problem Based Learning berbantuan media gambar terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis peserta didik kelas 1 SDN Mlatiharjo 01. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif Pre-Experimental Design jenis One-group Pretest-Posttest Design. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas I SDN Mlatiharjo 01 Semarang tahun pelajaran 2023/2024 yang berjumlah 26 peserta didik. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik samping jenuh yaitu teknik penentuan sampel jika seluruh populasi digunaan sebagai sampel. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu tes dan dokumentasi.Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, uji paired sampe t-test dan uji N-gain. Berdasakan hasil penelitian didapatkan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning berbantuan media gambar berperbedaan positif terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis peserta didik diperoleh dari uji paired sampel t test dengan Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 dan memiliki efektivitas dalam kategori sedang diperoleh dari uji N-gain dengan perolehan skor mean atau rata-rata sebesar 0,36.

Abstract

Effective schools can be seen from the quality of graduates with supporting components including school principals, teachers, staff, curriculum, implementation of learning, facilities and infrastructure, learning tools and resources, monitoring learning, evaluation of learning and school climate. The quality of graduates is the fulfillment of certain criteria accepted by customers, in this case the world of work and education. Improving the quality of graduates is an effort carried out to improve the quality of graduates through improving the quality of teachers, students, learning systems (curriculum) and facilities and infrastructure. This study aims to describe the role of school principals in improving the quality of graduates. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods, data collection methods by interview, observation and documentation. The place where this research was conducted was at SMK Negeri 1 Kedungwuni, Pekalongan Regency. Interviews, observations and documentation were used for data collection techniques. The results of the study show that the implementation of improving the quality of graduates is carried out through strategies and policies as well as programs prepared by school principals through improving the quality of teachers, learning, facilities and infrastructure as well as strengthening partnerships with the business world and the industrial world. The conclusions obtained from this study indicate that the implementation of improving the quality of graduates of building modeling and information design skills competency is successful.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the principal's policies, teacher efforts and student efforts in improving learning achievement. The research method is descriptive qualitative. Data collection instruments used interview guidelines, observation sheets and documentation. Test the validity of the data using technical triangulation and source triangulation. The data analysis technique uses Miles and Huberman interactive analysis: data collection, data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The results of the research include: Schools in collaboration with DUDI (Industrial World Business) in accordance with expertise competencies; Principal's policy to increase accreditation; Principals provide guidance and training to teachers in accordance with the areas of competence being taught; Principal conducts academic evaluation and supervision; Teachers participate in training and IHT activities; The teacher conducts a survey of students; Teachers provide training, coaching and motivation to students; Teachers use digital media such as Canva to train students' skills; Students participate in training and coaching activities in entrepreneurship activities; Students listen and understand the material explained by the teacher; Students work on and submit assignments on time.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran kepala sekolah sebagai supervisor dalam meningkatkan kualitas guru di SDN 2 Pengkolrejo. Jenis penelitian dengan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus untuk mengeksplorasi peran kepala sekolah dalam penguatan kapasitas guru di SDN 2 Pengkolrejo, Kecamatan Japah Blora. Subjek penelitian meliputi kepala sekolah, 11 guru, staf administrasi, siswa, dan wali siswa, dengan tujuan mendapatkan perspektif yang beragam terkait peningkatan kapasitas guru. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi langsung, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi, yang memungkinkan pemahaman mendalam tentang interaksi dan program yang diterapkan. Analisis data dilakukan dengan metode analisis tematik, meliputi transkripsi, pengkodean, pengembangan tema, dan interpretasi untuk memahami pola dan makna dari hasil penelitian. Validitas data dijaga melalui triangulasi sumber dan teknik member check untuk memastikan konsistensi dan keakuratan data yang diperoleh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah memainkan peran kunci dalam tiga aspek utama: pembinaan profesional, pemantauan kinerja, dan pemberian umpan balik. Kepala sekolah secara aktif melakukan pembinaan melalui pelatihan dan diskusi kelompok yang efektif, yang berdampak positif terhadap pengembangan kompetensi dan rasa percaya diri guru. Melalui pemantauan langsung di kelas, kepala sekolah juga membantu guru memahami area yang perlu ditingkatkan dalam pengajaran. Selain itu, umpan balik yang konstruktif dan spesifik memberikan panduan yang jelas bagi guru untuk melakukan perbaikan berkelanjutan. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa peran kepala sekolah sebagai supervisor berkontribusi signifikan dalam menciptakan lingkungan pendidikan yang mendukung peningkatan profesionalisme guru dan kualitas pembelajaran.
