Based on the results of the PHBS study, nationally the percentage of households using healthy latrines (39%), in urban areas (60%) is much higher than in rural areas (23%). The percentage of households using healthy latrines in West Java Province is slightly above the national average of 39.6%. Abstract

Policies related to the minimum wage are a contentious issue in employment across both developed and developing countries, aiming to meet community needs and benefit families. However, a research gap exists in applying justice and moral principles to wage determination from the perspective of Sharia economic law in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze fair wage components according to Islam and the role of business ethics in protecting workers and determining wages. Employing a literature review method, data were gathered from various sources such as books, journals, and previous research findings, which were reviewed and analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques. The study emphasizes the importance of justice and moral components in Islamic wage determination, rooted in the absolute essence granted by God, essential for morality. Business ethics in work protection and wage determination are crucial to ensure fair treatment and prevent exploitation. Recommended steps include optimal labor protection and wage determination, timely payment of agreed wages, recognition and guarantee of labor, fair wage determination without harm, and providing worker freedom. The study's novelty lies in integrating Islamic principles of justice and morality into minimum wage policies and developing practical business ethics guidelines for labor protection and wage determination under Sharia economic law in Indonesia.

Abstract

Abstract

Abstract: The principle al-ridha bi al-Syai' ridha bima yatawalladu minhu, mutual consent to a transaction and its consequences, is pivotal for validating economic exchanges in Islamic finance. This study investigates its role in enhancing accountability, transparency, and ethical integrity within contemporary Islamic economic systems. Using a qualitative descriptive methodology and comprehensive literature review of primary sources (Qur'an, Hadith) and scholarly works, the research analyses how this principle ensures transactional validity by mandating informed consent, risk acceptance, and alignment with maqasid al-shariah (objectives of Islamic law). Key findings reveal that the principle underpins justice in transactions by prohibiting tadlis (deception), requiring full disclosure of risks, and fostering social welfare. Its applications in modern contexts, such as Islamic banking, profit-loss-sharing investments, and fintech (e.g., blockchain, AI), highlight both opportunities and challenges, including regulatory harmonisation and algorithmic transparency. The study concludes that ar-ridha bi-ash-shay'i offers a robust ethical framework adaptable to global economic innovations while upholding core Islamic values. Recommendations include standardised Shariah governance, technology-integrated consent mechanisms, and cross-sector education initiatives.

Abstract

Rapid changes in the educational environment require schools to have adaptive and visionary leadership strategies. Competition between educational institutions and increasing public expectations for service quality add to the complexity of the challenges of managing educational institutions. In this context, the strategic role of school executives becomes crucial as the determinant of direction and the main driver of institutional transformation. This study aims to analyze how school executives design and implement strategies in building competitive advantages amidst the ever-evolving dynamics. This study uses a qualitative approach by relying on data from various relevant sources, such as previous research and institutional strategic documents. The data obtained are analyzed interpretively to reveal patterns and tendencies in strategic leadership practices in schools. The results of the study indicate that school executives have a central role in determining the direction of policies and program priorities that impact the quality and competitiveness of institutions. Success in building competitiveness is greatly influenced by the leadership's ability to respond to change, manage resources, and involve stakeholders. Although there are various challenges in implementing strategies, consistent and reflective leadership can maintain the continuity of planning and implementation on an ongoing basis.

The results of this thesis reveal that: (1) that based on the data obtained there has been a sale and purchase of pirated books at the Cairo bookstore in Bandung City. the implementation of bookstore owners accept books from distributors and then sell them to students and the public. (2) while the benefits of buying and selling pirated books (a) never sell out (b) the price of the book is cheaper. Whereas the madharat (a) is very risky to be caught in a criminal case (b) the profits generated are not lawful. (3) according to Sharia Economic Law the sale and purchase of pirated books and the Fatwa of MUI No.1 Year 2003 concerning Copyright or Law No.28 of 2014 pirated sale and purchase constitutes injustice whose laws are unlawful. Abstract

The education bailout product (DTP) is a solution for members who have difficulty paying fees to complete their children's education. This study aims to determine how the implementation of the qardh wa al-ijarah contract on the DTP product and to know the review of Sharia Economic Law on the implementation of DTP. The method used is descriptive that is to explain how the implementation of the qardh wa al-ijarah contract on the DTP product. Based on the results of the study it was concluded that the implementation of the qardh wa al-ijarah contract on the DTP product used the qardh wa al-ijarah agreement, where the qardh contract was a KOMIDA & members' debt and agreement agreement, while the ijarah contract was a KOMIDA agreement and members where members were willing to pay for educational services. According to the review of Sharia Economic Law in DSN MUI Fatwa No.29 of 2002 as a reference for the implementation procedure of DTP products and the muqalah fiqh principle is contradictory because the benefits of the Ujrah given are based on the bailout funds provided, so that the law is riba and does not meet Islamic economic values as basic principles muamalah.
