Abstract

This study aims to analyze the inclusive and creative approach in Islamic education for Generation Z based on the book Islam for Gen-Z by Hatim Gazali. The method used is qualitative research with a content analysis approach and literature review. This study found that Generation Z, who live in the digital and diversity era, understand religious teachings better through an open and interactive approach. Inclusive education allows students to be actively involved, respect differences in views, and appreciate Islamic values such as justice, tolerance, and equality. In addition, the use of digital technology, such as social media, supports student engagement and makes learning more relevant. The results of the study indicate that the inclusive approach is effective in deepening religious understanding in Generation Z, despite challenges, such as conservative resistance and the need to improve educator skills

Abstract

One of the plants that can be used as traditional medicine is binahong leaf (Anredera cordifolia (Ten) Steen). Bioactive subtances from the Binahong plant can help the healing process of disease, research has been carried out on the antibacterial and antifungal activity pf binahong leaf ekstrack (Anredera cordifolia (Ten) Steen). This research is an experimental laboratory aimed at testing the potential antibacterial and antifungal activity of the leaf ekstract of binahong (Anredera cordifolia (Ten) Steen) againts the growth of the bacteria bacillus subtillis s[pan the fungi aspergillus niger. Binahong leaves (Anredera cordifolia (Ten) Steen) Made in the from of a thick ekstrack then carried out phytochemical screening, antibacterial active test using Bacillus Subtillis and shigella sp bacteria also tested for antifungal activity using aspergillus niger fungus. The results showed that the leaf extract of binahong (Anredera cordifola(Ten) Steenins) had antibacterial activity againt bacillus subtillis and shigella sp bacteria at concentrations of 25%, 50%, and 75% by disc method and was in the medium sterong category. And binahong leaf extrac (Anredera cordifolia (Ten) Steen) has antifungal activity againts aspergillus niger at concentrations of 24%, 50%, and 75% by disc method and is in the medium category.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the policies of two ministries, namely the Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kemenag) and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) at the elementary and junior high school levels, in implementing the education curriculum in Indonesia. This study is qualitative with a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. Data in the form of scientific articles collected from 2015–2024. The data collection technique used the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) procedure. The study results show significant differences in the curriculum's structure, focus, and approach implemented by the two ministries. The Ministry of Religious Affairs curriculum emphasizes integrating religious values ​​with science. In contrast, the curriculum under the Ministry of Education and Culture focuses more on developing general competencies based on science and technology. However, there is potential to synergize the policies of the two ministries to create a more holistic curriculum, which not only builds intellectual intelligence but also strengthens religious character and national insight. This study recommends harmonizing inter-ministerial policies through more intensive coordination mechanisms and adapting inclusive curricula according to the needs of the multicultural society in Indonesia. This study focuses on policy analysis at the ministerial level and does not directly evaluate school or district-level curriculum implementation. This study contributes by comparatively analyzing the education policies of two ministries in Indonesia, which have not been widely discussed in previous studies. This study also highlights the importance of policy synergy in building an integrative and adaptive curriculum to the challenges of education in a culturally and religiously diverse society.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the role of parental attention on students' morals at MI AR-Rahman Parengan Jetis Mojokerto. This research uses a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used in this research include observation, interviews and documentation. This research uses qualitative data analysis which consists of three stages, namely data reduction, data display, and conclusion or verification. The results of this research found a diversity of morals in students which was influenced by the role of parental attention in developing their children's morals. Based on research results, the majority of children who have madzmumah morals are influenced by the lack of attention from their parents, they tend to carry out despicable morals due to the lack of parental direction in developing children's morals in everyday life, so when they do despicable morals they think This is a natural thing and to get attention from the surrounding environment. This is very different from children who receive the role of attention from their parents. They tend to have morals because they receive the role of parental attention and direction in having morals in everyday life.

Abstract

This research aims to reveal the Islamic education system in Muhammadiyah which is famous for its motto of Progressive Islam, so that a modernization of education movement is formed to improve the quality of Islamic education. As one of Muhammadiyah's programs is to carry out a tajdid or reform movement. One thing that is starting to develop rapidly at this time in Muhammadiyah is the Modern Islamic Boarding School with the integration of religious knowledge with general knowledge. This research uses a qualitative approach-literature study and uses documentation methods to collect data. The results of this research are to explain the dynamics of Muhammadiyah education and the development of modern Muhammadiyah Islamic boarding schools. The Muhammadiyah education reform movement has existed since its inception, with the aim of producing intellectual scholars and religious scholars. One of the Muhammadiyah movements that is currently developing rapidly is the Islamic boarding school with a modernist system which consists of three, namely: Muhammadiyah Boarding School (MBS), Integral Islamic boarding school, and Takhassus Islamic boarding school

Abstract

To produce high-quality graduates from Vocational High Schools (SMK), Education must develop mastery of hard skills and development of soft skills, including independent learning skills. This Community Service Program (PKM) aims to enhance the technological literacy of students at SMKN 1 Duduksampeyan, particularly in utilizing Large Language Models (LLM) such as ChatGPT and Gemini.. The methods used in this program include lectures and practice sessions. The lecture sessions are designed to provide an understanding of the basic concepts, history, and applications of LLM in various sectors, particularly accounting. The practice sessions involve hands-on training in using LLM, where students are taught effective prompting techniques to complete school assignments and improve their analytical skills. Based on the pre-test questionnaire results, nearly 20% of students had never used LLM, while 5% considered this technology less beneficial. The main challenges faced were limited internet access and a lack of understanding of how to use the technology. This program is expected to equip students with adaptive skills and support the integration of LLM in vocational education.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the effectiveness of the Maghrib Isya Mengaji (MIM) program as an innovation in mosque-based Quranic learning at At-Taqwa Mosque, Simorejo, Surabaya. The program is designed to improve the quality of Quranic recitation among the community, particularly the elderly, using the talaqqi method, which involves direct guidance from professional instructors. This research employs a qualitative approach, utilizing observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. The informants include mosque management (takmir) and congregants actively participating in the program. The findings reveal that the MIM program has successfully improved participants' Quranic recitation skills in terms of fluency and the application of tajweed rules. Additionally, the program has had a positive spiritual impact, such as increasing participants’ connection to the Quran, fostering motivation for more frequent Quranic recitation, and strengthening social relationships between congregants and the mosque. Supporting factors for the program's success include full support from the mosque management, adequate facilities, and the enthusiasm of the congregants. However, challenges remain, such as participants' reluctance to learn due to embarrassment, limited time, and the occasional absence of competent instructors. In conclusion, the MIM program is effective in facilitating inclusive and sustainable mosque-based Quranic learning, providing a solution for busy individuals to continue improving their Quranic literacy. The results of this study are expected to serve as a reference for other mosques to implement similar programs, reinforcing the mosque's role as a center for education and Islamic civilization. Abstract

This study aims to explore the dynamics of Islamic studies from a Western perspective, through the views of Indonesian alumni who have studied at McGill University, Canada. Using a qualitative approach and case study design, this research explores how cross-cultural academic experiences can shape a more critical, contextual, and interdisciplinary understanding of Islam. The main focus of this study is the paradigm shift in Islamic studies in the West, which was initially dominated by orientalism, towards a more open and dialogical scientific approach. Based on in-depth interviews with three McGill alumni who are actively involved in academics and religious activities in Indonesia, the findings suggest that McGill University plays a significant role in shaping reflective Islamic thought, adaptive to social realities, and supporting moderate values such as democracy, human rights, and pluralism. The implications of these findings are crucial for the development of Islamic studies in Indonesia, offering an approach that is more inclusive and relevant to Indonesia's social and cultural dynamics

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan penerapan pedagogi multikultural dalam pendidikan sekolah, dengan tujuan utama untuk mengidentifikasi kendala yang dihadapi guru dan sekolah, serta dampak yang ditimbulkannya terhadap pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi pustaka, di mana data dikumpulkan dari berbagai literatur terkait pendidikan multikultural, termasuk jurnal, buku, dan laporan penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kendala utama dalam penerapan pedagogi multikultural adalah keterbatasan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru dalam mengelola keberagaman, serta kurangnya dukungan dari kebijakan pendidikan yang ada. Meskipun demikian, penelitian juga menemukan bahwa strategi penerapan yang efektif, seperti pengembangan kurikulum yang inklusif, dapat meningkatkan sikap toleransi siswa dan kualitas pendidikan secara keseluruhan. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya kolaborasi antara pendidik, pemerintah, dan masyarakat dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang lebih inklusif, sehingga mendorong pengembangan karakter siswa yang mampu menghargai perbedaan.

Abstract

Lahan pekarangan merupakan halaman kosong atau lahan yang dimiliki oleh setiap rumah dan umumnya terdapat di sekeliling rumah dan banyak memiliki fungsi yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk pemenuhan kebutuhan keluarga maupun meningkatkan ketersedian pangan bagi keluarga. Khususnya di Kelurahan Tubo, dengan memanfaatkan lahan pekarangan rumah dengan baik, maka akan juga mendapatkan keuntungan yang sangat besar terutama dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan keluarga sehari-hari serta dapat menambah pendapatan ekonomi rumah tangga dan masyarakat pada umumnya yang memanfaatakan lahan pekarangannya dengan baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana masyarakat memanfaatkan lahan pekarangan rumah untuk memenuhi kebutuhan ekonomi keluarga di Kelurahan Tubo. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengambilan informan ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yang mana informan yang dipilih ialah Masyarakat yang memanfaatkan lahan pekarangan rumahnya, Lurah Kelurahan Tubo, dan Pengelola Dasawisma. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis data kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa, pemanfaatan lahan pekarangan rumah banyak dimanfaatkan untuk menanam berbagai jenis sayuran, ada juga yang dimanfaatkan untuk menanam tanaman obat, tanaman hias, juga ada yang lahannya disewakan sebagai tempat praktikum para mahasiswa, dan ada yang tidak memanfaatkan lahan pekarangannya. Lahan pekarangan yang dimanfaatkan untuk menanam berbagai macam jenis hasilnya dapat memenuhi kebutuhan ekonomi keluarga. Kesimpulannya ialah, dengan adanya sinergi antara masyarakat, pemerintah, dan pihak swasta, pemanfaatan pekarangan rumah di Kelurahan Tubo dapat menjadi solusi berkelanjutan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan ekonomi dan ketahanan pangan bagi keluarga.
