Abstract

Jalan Basuki Rahmad is one of the streets with a fairly active pedestrian routine because it is donated by a shopping area which is the center of the crowd and the lane near Jombang Station. However, the situation in the area is still lacking in good management, especially in the existing pedestrian facilities that look chaotic and unorganized. Rahmat Basuki Street is one of the streets in the center of the city so it needs to be arranged in order to create comfort for pedestrian users. One of the government's policies by rebuilding the pedestrian path is to revitalize. This research intends to discuss the effect of walkability and completeness of the road on pedestrian comfort on the pedestrian path on the Basuki Rahmad road in Jombang after being revitalized. The purpose of this study was to analyze the impact of revalitation in pedestrian structuring on the Basuki Rahmad Jombang road from the influence of walkability and completeness of the road to the pedestrian comfort on the Basuki Rahmad road in Jombang city. The method used is descriptive analysis and regression analysis. The results of the study showed that walkability and completeness of the road affected pedestrian comfort by 0.639 or 63.9% and 0.188 or by 18.8%.

Abstract

Among many existing motivational theories, perhaps Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs Theories are widely known. This theory passes a message to us that once a person passes a certain level of need, he is no longer motivated by the level of motivation below. This provides an understanding that a manager or leader or motivator in the organization should know what is needed by subordinates. The need of a daily production worker with staff of managerial staff is different. To provide motivation that can improve performance to both, a motivator must provide different treatment according to their needs.

Abstract

This project investigates the use of face recognition for a surveillance system. The normal video surveillance system uses in closed-circuit television (CCTV) to record video for security purpose. It is used to identify the identity of a person through their appearances on the recorded video, manually. Today’s video surveillance camera system usually not occupied with a face recognition system. With some modification, a surveillance camera system can be used as face detection and recognition that can be done in real-time. The proposed system makes use of surveillance camera system that can identify the identity of a person automatically by using face recognition of Haar cascade classifier. The hardware used for this project were Raspberry Pi as a processor and Pi Camera as a camera module. The development of this project consist of three main phases which were data gathering, training recognizer, and face recognition process. All three phases have been executed using Python programming and OpenCV library, which have been performed in a Raspbian operation system. From the result, the proposed system successfully displays the output result of human face recognition, with facial angle within ±40°, in medium and normal light condition, and within a distance of 0.4 to 1.2 meter. Targeted image are allowed to wear face accessory as long as not covering the face structure. In conclusion, this system considered, can reduce the cost of manpower in order to identify the identity of a person in real time situation.

Abstract

In the framework of handling the bending pavement road, natural materials in the form of asphalt as a binding material in a hot paved blend are needed. One of the abundant natural asphaltic that has not been used to its fullest is Asbuton. The government through the Ministry of Public Works which is currently transformed into the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing has issued Public Works Regulation No. 35 of 2006 on Increasing the Utilization of Buton Asphalt for Road Maintenance and Development. Because various things that cause permission to use 100% Asbuton in hot paved blends can not be issued, the use of Asbuton is still limited to improving the quality of asphalt Pen 60/70. This research aims to obtain an optimal composition in the use of Asbuton using the type of Asbuton Grain B 50/30. It is hoped that the results of the research can be an additional reference for Asbuton producers as well as a new insight for civil engineering students who explore the path of bending pavement. The results showed that Asbuton Granular B 50/30 can be used in improving the quality of Asphalt Pen 60/70 with an optimal composition of 25% Asbuton Granular B 50/30 and 75% Asphalt Pen 60/70.

Abstract

Abstract

The need of innovation in construction technology has driven involved parties within the industry to keep researching for new methods or materials in which could bring efficiency, yet more reliable. In this research, composite concrete panels which has become commonly used, is going to be modified by implementing lightweight steel as its concrete reinforcement. Three model of lightweight steel composite concrete panels were designed and tested for its compressing strength after 14 days. The proposed model was designed for low budget small housing and should be easily implemented. Moreover, all of the model used 1:2:3 concrete mix design without adding addictive solvent or other composite material. The tests result for model A is 5000 KN, for model B is 4600 KN and lastly for model C is 6000 KN. Based on these compressing strength test results, the designed models are able to be implemented for small housing construction.
