Abstract

This study examines the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) and augmented reality (AR) technologies in sustainable influencer marketing campaigns, using Malaysia Palm Oil Board (MPOB) as a case study. The research explores how MPOB leverages digital tools to reshape public perception of palm oil sustainability through strategic influencer partnerships and immersive technologies. Based on desk research utilizing publicly available secondary data, this study addresses the gap in understanding how government-linked organizations employ AI-driven influencer selection and AR-enhanced content to promote environmental stewardship. The findings reveal that AI-powered analytics enable more precise targeting of eco-conscious audiences, while AR tools provide immersive experiences that enhance message credibility and engagement. This research contributes to the growing body of literature on sustainable marketing communications and provides practical insights for organizations seeking to balance commercial interests with environmental advocacy

Abstract

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of e-service quality on e-customer loyalty mediated by e-satisfaction among social media commerce users in Indonesia. The sample of this research was 100 respondents. Data was collected using a questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis using SEM Amos 22. The results of the research show that there is a significant direct influence between e-service quality on e-satisfaction and e-customer loyalty among social media commerce users. There is a partial influence of the mediating impact of e-satisfaction between e-service quality on e-satisfaction and e-customer loyalty on social media commerce users. This shows that customer satisfaction can be built through good service so that customers do not switch to competitors.

Abstract

In the modern era, society's dependence on technology, particularly the internet, has brought significant changes in lifestyle, including shopping behavior. E-commerce, as a form of electronic commerce, is rapidly evolving as a mechanism for exchanging goods and services over the internet. This study aims to measure the influence of brand ambassadors and the "Gratis Ongkir" (Free Shipping) tagline of Shopee on the purchasing decisions of STIE Sakti Alam Kerinci students. The research results indicate a relatively low impact of both factors, with a Coefficient of Determination value of 14.3%. Despite being low, this value provides an initial overview of the extent to which the model can explain variations in students' purchasing decisions. The analysis reveals that the partial influence of brand ambassadors on purchasing decisions is 0.41%, while the "Gratis Ongkir" tagline has an impact of 0.34%. Although these figures are relatively low, it is important to note that low values do not necessarily reflect insignificance. The reduced impact could be influenced by complex factors and variables not measured in the study. The Coefficient of Determination value of 14.3% indicates that the constructed model can explain a small portion of the variation in purchasing decisions among STIE Sakti Alam Kerinci students.

Abstract

While AI-based personalization is prevalent in e-commerce, the psychological processes underlying the transformation of these experiences into engagement remain under-theorized. The current study aims to examine a moderated-mediation model with perceived value and customer trust as parallel mediators and privacy concerns as moderator. We conducted a quantitative cross-sectional survey among 476 online consumers in Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand. The data were analyzed using SmartPLS 4.0 using PLS-SEM, which includes measurement invariance testing and power analysis.  The results confirm that AI-driven personalization significantly increases engagement directly and indirectly through perceived value (β=0.235) and trust (β=0.145). Interestingly, privacy concerns largely mitigate the trust-building path (β=−0.143). This research makes a novel contribution to the literature by empirically validating the “personalization-privacy paradox” in the emerging Southeast Asian market through a dual-pathway mediation lens. In practice, e-commerce operators should consider functional utility (value) as the main driver of engagement, while trust is a long-term relational outcome that needs transparent data governance.
