Abstract

This study aims to analyze what processions are relevant to Islamic education's values and the values of Islamic education in traditional ceremonies of the Karo tribe in Aji Baho Village, Biru-Biru District, Deli Serdang Regency. This research is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. The source of the data used is primary data collected directly by researchers, namely data obtained from informants, namely the Head of Aibaho Village, Community Leaders of Ajibaho Village, Several People of Ajibaho Village, Biru-Biru District, Deli Serdang Regency. The secondary data are village archives, records of observations, and several other documents related to research in Ajibaho village, Biru-Biru District, Deli Serdang Regency. The results of the study were. First, the procession was divided into 2, namely pre-marriage (the stage of nungkuni kata, ngembah belo selembar, nganting manuk) and the wedding procession (process rose, reconnaissance pedah-pedah / luah, prayer congratulations, traditional work perjabun singuda, belo selembar, man bersama and man sepiring) and second, the value of education in ceremonies that contain the value of tawhid, worship, morals, ukhuwah. According to the researchers' analysis, the procession and the value of education at the ceremony contain prayers, hopes for happiness, health, cheap sustenance, active effort, and obedience to worship. The value of Islamic education in the Karo tribal wedding ceremony can be seen in two processes: the premarital and when the wedding occurs.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the problem in the PAI learning process at SMAS Imelda Medan. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The subject of the study includes 30 students who are selected purposefully. Data are collected through observation, interview, and documentation. Data analysis was performed by following the interactive model of Miles and Huberman with several stages, including data collection, data reduction, display data, and conclusion drawing. Based on the interview and the documentation results, the problem happened because of the lack of student learning interest, the lack of students' understanding of PAI learning, many students who have not been smoothly reading the Qur'an, and fewer professional teachers, and less competent teacher, and limited facilities and infrastructure and environmental problems. Solutions that can be done to fix the PAI learning issue at SMAS Imelda Medan include improving teacher professionalism, infrastructure facilities, and media utilization.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perkembangan pembelajaran kitab kuning di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Swasta Yayasan Madrasah Pendidikan Islam Sei Tualang Raso Kota Tanjungbala,  metode pembelajaran kitab kuning di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Swasta Yayasan Madrasah Pendidikan Islam Sei Tualang Raso Kota Tanjungbalai, faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam pembelajaran kitab kuning di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Yayasan Madrasah Pendidikan Islam Sei Tualang Raso Kota Tanjungbalai. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumen. Responden utama penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, guru Kitab Kuning dan siswa. Adapun Hasil penelitian ini yaitu, perkembangan Pembelajaran Kitab Kuning, Madrasah Tsanawiyah Swasta Yayasan Madrasah Pendidikan Islam Sei Tualang Raso Kota Tanjungbalai. Dinamika pembelajaran kitab kuning terjadi setelah terbitnya SKB 3 menteri, pembelajaran kitab kuning hilang dari kurikulum pembelajaran, kemudian dipulihkan melalui seminar pada tahun 2011 hasil seminar tersebut memutuskan mengembalikan pembelajaran kitab kuning. Sejak saat itulah madrasah ini memiliki dua kurikulum pembelajaran yaitu kurikulum kementerian agama dan kurikulum yayasan. Metode pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan tidak ada perubahan yang siginifkan, metode yang dignuakan dalam pembelajaran kitab kuning yaitu, bandongan, diskusi, dan ceramah, hafalan. Faktor pendukung dan penghambat jalanya pembelajaran kitab kuning ada dua faktor internal dan extsternal. Kata Kunci: Gaya Komunikasi, Nilai Islam, Gen-Z

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi penerapan etika akademik di Institut Agama Islam Daar Al Uluum Kisaran, dengan fokus pada tantangan dan keberhasilan dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai inti seperti integritas, kejujuran, kebebasan akademik, kreativitas, dan tanggung jawab sosial dalam kerangka kerja akademik. Etika akademik sangat penting untuk menjaga integritas dan kualitas lembaga pendidikan; namun, banyak laporan menunjukkan adanya penurunan kepatuhan terhadap etika, yang ditandai dengan insiden plagiarisme, pelanggaran, dan pelanggaran etika lainnya. Penelitian ini menyelidiki bagaimana prinsip-prinsip etika ini dimasukkan ke dalam praktik akademik sehari-hari dan bagaimana hal tersebut mempengaruhi perilaku dan perkembangan mahasiswa dan fakultas. Dengan memeriksa kasus-kasus spesifik pelanggaran etika, seperti plagiarisme dan perilaku yang tidak pantas, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai kondisi praktik etika saat ini di dalam institusi dan mengeksplorasi strategi yang efektif untuk meningkatkan standar etika. Pada akhirnya, penelitian ini berusaha untuk berkontribusi pada wacana yang lebih luas tentang etika akademik, memberikan wawasan yang dapat membantu dalam mereformasi lingkungan pendidikan tidak hanya di universitas Islam tetapi juga di seluruh sektor pendidikan tinggi, memastikan bahwa mereka benar-benar bertindak sebagai mercusuar moral dan etika di masyarakat.

Abstract

This study aims to explore classical Islamic educational literature within the field of psychology, to be used as a comparative framework or to identify its relevance in the modern era. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach through library research methods. The findings indicate that psychology has a significant impact on the process of education and learning. Ibn Miskawayh, At-Tabari, and Fakhruddin Ar-Razi are notable classical Islamic figures whose works continue to be studied and developed to this day. Their contributions to psychology hold potential for application in various societal contexts and conditions. The psychological insights of Ibn Miskawayh, At-Tabari, and Fakhruddin Ar-Razi remain relevant and applicable to contemporary Islamic education.   Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membahas lektur klasik kependidikan islam pada genre psikologi untuk dapat dijadikan perbandingan atau bahkan ditemukan relevansi pada era modern. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kepustakaan (libraryresearch) dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil kajian menjelaskan Psikologi memiliki pengaruh besar dalam proses pendidikan dan pembelajaran. Ibn Miskawayh, At-Tabari dan Fakhruddin Ar-Razi merupakan tokoh islam klasik yang populer dikaji dan dikembangkkan hingga saat ini, ketiganya memiliki karya-karya pada aspek psikologi yang berpotensi dalam sejumlah upaya aktivitas yang dilalui masyarakat di berbagai situasi dan kondisi. Pada kependidikan islam pemikiran Ibn Miskawayh, At-Tabari dan Fakhruddin Ar-Razi tentang psikologi masih relevan untuk diterapkan dimasa sekarang.

Abstract

This article discusses Islamic religious extension workers who act as consultants in empowering the Taklim Assembly in Talawi District, Batubara Regency. Data collection was in the form of observation techniques, interviews and documentation studies. The data obtained in the field is then collaborated with data from the literature study. The technique exhibits the characteristics of qualitative research. The research results obtained were that the Islamic Religious Counselors in the Talawi District, Batubara Regency had and carried out their duties according to their functions. The focus of his duties is in accordance with the provisions set by the Head of the Batubara Regency Office of Religious Affairs. Associated with the taklim assembly, the Islamic Religion Counselor acts as a provider of opinions, directions, advice and solutions regarding the achievement of the functions and objectives of the formation of the Taklim Assembly. Efforts made are: giving advice to always make the Qur'an a way of life, providing solutions for efforts to find leaders from members of the Taklim Assembly, providing advice related to strengthening human relations with Allah and others, providing opinions, instructions, advice and solutions in religious and religious discussion activities, providing directions and solutions to improve the family economy, providing directions related to the development of Islamic arts and culture; and giving advice and directions to love religion, nation and state

Abstract

This research was motivated by the desire of the boarding school to develop Islamic religious education through active Friday extracurricular activities, such as reciting the Qur'an, al-barzanji, Friday sermons and nasyid. The purpose of this study is to describe how the planning, implementation, evaluation and results of the implementation of active Friday extracurricular activities in developing Islamic religious education. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis. Data sources or informants are school principals, supervising teachers, students and parents of students. The data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. Abstract

This research will explore Yasien Mohamed's Fitrah Theory, to reveal its construction and increase our knowledge about Islamic Education.The main question that will be discussed in this study is how the theory of Fitrah in Islam and Yasien Mohamed's view of nature itself and how this analysis can contribute to the development of Islamic education.The research methodology used is a descriptive and analytical library research method, and the analysis uses content analysis. The main source of this study is Yasien Muhammad's book, Fitrah: The Islamic Concept of Human Nature, which explores his research findings on God's role in giving human nature potential. It was revealed that God acted as the initial cause and passed down the fitrah through genetic inheritance.Based on the Fitrah Theory, the construction of Islamic Education can function as a countermeasure for secularism in the field of Islamic education, and aims to form individuals who have high moral values and character, as guided by the Al-Qur'an.

Abstract

Background: In North Sumatra, one of the figures who is viewed as a ulama, all the more exactly a scholarly mastermind who gave information and contributed significantly to society, was H. Zainal Arifin Abbas (1912-1979M), one of the ulama who been able to tackle the issues of the ummah during his time. Purpose: This research discusses about the contribution of H. Zainal Arifin Abbas of education in North Sumatra. This issue should be explored for a few significant reasons, to be specific exploration on Abbas can uncover how the historical backdrop of training in North Sumatra created, by looking at the contributions of H. Zainal Arifin Abbas can help in forming more powerful instructive methodologies in view of the encounters and fruitful drives of past figures, this research can evaluate the impact of policies, programs or methods introduced by him future improvement and advancement of education. Method: This research is a type of qualitative research with a character study approach. Data validity techniques are carried out with a degree of trust (credibility) and dependability by auditing research data. The data analysis used in this research is the character study method. Result: The results of this research are in general the contribution of H. Zainal Arifin Abbas in the field of education, to be specific starting the foundation of instructive organizations like Madrasah Arabiyah School (El Hidayah) Kampung Lalang, Al-Ittihadiyah Teladan Islamic Establishment Medan and Taman Siswa Binjai, he is likewise a savvy teacher , scholastic authorities at colleges, example, UISU and Al-Ittihadiyah and produce composed works that become obligatory references in instructive organizations. Conclusion: Therefore, it can be concluded that H. Zainal Arifin Abbas is worthy of being considered a role model due to their substantial contributions, including the production of numerous written works and establishment of educational institutions, aimed at advancing the future of education.

Abstract

Background: The learning process of Islamic Cultural History still adheres to the old paradigm, where teachers passively transfer knowledge to students. Purpose: The purpose of this research is to enhance understanding and productivity through the development of teaching materials. Method: This study adopts a research and development (R&D) approach, employing analysis techniques to assess the feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness of the teaching materials. Result: The results indicate that, on average, the proportion of time teachers spend explaining instructional materials to students is 24.70% of the available time for each session. The average percentage of time teachers spend summarizing instructional materials and providing reflections is 12.60%. Additionally, the average percentage of time teachers spend responding to student questions is 12.10%, while the average percentage of time teachers spend asking questions to students is 10.20% of the allocated time for each session. Conclusion: Therefore, multiliteracy-based instructional materials for Islamic Cultural History can be considered a new paradigm in education. This is because these materials are developed through research and development activities and have been proven to demonstrate an improvement in students' learning outcomes.Top of Form
