Abstract

The active role of leaders and leadership models that are in accordance with the needs of educational institutions are very much needed. Teachers and Employees have a desire to be led by certain people who have a clear vision of the goals, understand how to realize the goals and try to teach them. The role of the leader in a school or madrasa is expected to create a sense of fairness for employees; Characteristics of leaders affect the work climate in an educational institution. Leaders expected by school employees are leaders who are able to provide job satisfaction to employees. This study was designed to examine whether transformational leadership has a significant effect on job satisfaction. Using a sample at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Assyaidiyah, data collection was carried out by distributing 64 questionnaires. Based on the simple linear regression analysis used, the results showed that transformational leadership had a significant positive effect on employee job satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the implementation of AIK learning program with the Baitul Arqam model at the Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta in the 2019/2020 year. This study employed a qualitative approach to research. In collecting data, this study used observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation techniques, while the data validation was a triangulation of data sources and theories. This study's data analysis applied a CIPP Stufflebeam analysis. The results showed that (1) evaluating the AIK learning program with the Baitul Arqam model can be stated quite well in planning, organization, and implementation. The evaluation results on the supervision aspect of AIK learning program within the Baitul Arqam model can be unfavorable. Supervision was carried out only when students follow Baitul Arqam. Maintenance carried out after following the AIK learning with the Baitul Arqam model was not held. (2) The challenges faced by the AIK learning program with the Baitul Arqam model included: (a) the need for strategic planning, (b) qualified educators based on the standards, (c) a campus environment, and (d) an integrated supervision model.

Abstract

The learning process in educational institutions during the Covid-19 pandemic has several problems faced. The Ministry of Education and Culture took a firm stance through several circulars related to education policies in the emergency period of the spread of Covid-19. This paper examines the implementation of education policies during the Covid-19 pandemic related to distance learning policies. The distance learning process is a solution which in its implementation has not been optimal as a whole. There are things that must be considered in this distance learning, among others, the quality of teacher resources must be improved, both in terms of content and methodology as well as in terms of the use of information technology. In addition, students are also less active in participating in distance learning, either due to an unstable internet network or in terms of providing limited internet quota. The purpose of writing this article is to learn and understand the problems in learning activities during the pandemic, namely distance learning so that students can follow it actively and interestingly. This study uses a qualitative and observational approach. The results of this study prove that e-learning during the COVID-19 pandemic has caused various responses and changes to system that can affect the learning process and the level of development of students in responding to the material presented.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how big burnout cases are in independent medical practice. It was taken from burnout cases that occurred in independent medical practices, from January 2018 to December 2021. The patient was tested for burnout with Maslach Burnout Inventory-Human Service Survey (MBI-HSS) instrument. Burnout cases that enter the independent doctor's practice are those with physical symptoms such as stomach complaints and heart complaints. The method used in this research is quantitative and qualitative. Qualitative to see the relationship between sex and burnout shirts. Qualitative to analyze suggested solutions. The results obtained are as follows, there is an almost threefold increase in burnout cases during the pandemic. Calculation of chi-squared shows that gender affects burnout cases in students seen in the chi quadrant with an error rate of 5%. Before the pandemic, the incidence of burnout in women was more. After the pandemic, there were more burnout cases in men. The solution that should be done is to create a special curriculum on professional development to explore the motivation of students to overcome burnout. Some examples of countermeasures are those that have been implemented at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia, Indonesia, or do a coping strategy. This research is done to know how to prevent cases burnout cases in more students

Abstract

Negara-negara maju memperhatikan pendidikan moral dan moral rakyatnya. Pendidikan akhlak adalah pekerjaan pendidik (guru) menjadi problematika tersendiri dalam lingkup pendidikan. Guru (pendidik) menjadi pelaksana kurikulum wajib sanggup menerapkan kurikulum pada proses pembelajaran. Pertanyaan yang diamati dalam penelitian ini adalah apa yang harus dilakukan guru (pendidik) agar pendidikan moral tidak hanya dipahami oleh siswa, tetapi juga dapat diterapkan dalam kehidupan. Guru memainkan peran yang sangat dominan dalam pendidikan moral di sekolah, tetapi guru dapat memainkan peran berikut: 1) Peran sebelumnya dalam proses pembelajaran adalah: peran guru sebagai wali. 2) Peran dalam proses pembelajaran adalah organisator, fasilitator, motivator, inovator dan mentor. 3) Peran setelah pembelajaran adalah sebagai penilai.

Abstract

Communicative competence is the goal of language learning, for which students have to learn language in a real context; and it also becomes the focus of Curriculum 13 in Indonesia. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there are conflicts in realizing communicative competence for the students online. This study aims to identify conflicts faced by the teachers in integrating communicative language teaching method and online platforms used during the pandemic, as the lessons in long distance learnings. This study is qualitative with in-depth interview as the main data collection technique. The respondents of this study cover 137 senior high school teachers. The data is analyzed by identifying the relevant interplays between graduate competences, language learning methods, online platforms used, and conflicts on the teachers and students learning autonomously along pandemic. The findings show that there are conflicts among the teachers and students in implementing online communicative language teaching autonomously, since the method and the used online learning platforms are irrelevant and internet literacy and infrastructure are still poor. There must be comprehensive understanding and skills of the teachers and students in handling autonomous learning digitally along the pandemic including learning outcome, materials, learning methods and process, and testing the outcome. These conflicts bring about lessons of adaptability, collaboration, communication, and resilience, they have learned valuable skills that will serve them well in their future education and careers.

Abstract

Public relations problems at Madrasah Tsanawiyah 1 Klaten are still lacking in promoting school achievements, the need for more productive school relations, student guardians, and society. Public Relations has not been able to establish active communication between teachers and students outside of school. The research aimed to discover innovation in education public relations management through websites, public relations models, and the benefits of public relations management. This research uses a qualitative approach in the form of a case study. The innovation in public relations activities through website-based information technology facilities. The results of this study indicate that the school has carried out educational public relations innovations by managing the website. The website management was managed by a team with the Decree of the Madrasah Head. Website content includes models and forms of education public relations communication through websites still classified as public information models. This model of public relations has paid attention to the importance of correct information but has not been based on research and has not provided an opportunity to provide feedback from the website reader community. The results of the research impact school achievement being known by the community, and active communication are established between schools, parents of students, and the community.

Abstract

This study aims to compare the amount, source of income, and expenditure allocation in the school budget plan (RKAS) in the last three years, namely 2018, 2019 and 2020. This study uses the content analysis method. The data sources came from the 2018, 2019 and 2020 RKAS documents. Data analysis used quantitative with percentages and descriptive qualitative. The results show that the amount of revenue in 2018 is higher than 2019 and 2020 is higher than 2018. Source of revenue for 2018 comes from central and regional BOS, while in 2019 and 2020 only central BOS. The expenditure allocation in 2018 was the highest in financing standards, in 2019 the highest was in management standards and in 2020 the highest was in financing standards.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran dan pemetaan permasalahan dalam penggunaan aplikasi e-RKAM di MTsN 15 Boyolali pada tahun anggaran 2021. Sedangkan metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam riset kali ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif, Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian diskriptif kualitatif, dengan lebih spesifik penelitian study kasus di MTsN 15 Boyolali. Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif adalah seseuai dengan namamya yaitu memberikan gambaran apa adanya seolah-olah penulis memotret fakta yang ada di lapangan dengan kata-kata/kalimat. Sebisa mungkin fakta-fakta ini bebas dari bias interpretasi penulis, hanya fakta murni yang diungkapkan apa adanya secara faktual dan akurat. Sedang kenapa study kasus karena penulis tertarik dengan kasus ini, penulis anggap kasus ini adalah kasus yang menarik, temuan awal penulis adalah sudah diberikan pelatihan namun tidak menggunakan aplikasi yang dilatihkan tersebut. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan untuk menggali informasi digunakan observasi, wawancara dan study dokumen. Analisis data menggunakan teknik:  Data Reduction (Redaksi Data).  Data Dispay (Penyajian Data), Conclusion Drawing/ Verification. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kendala SDM dalam Penggunaan aplikasi e-RKAM di MTsN 15 Boyolali tidak dapat berjalan maksimal bahkan bisa dikatakan masih belum digunakan. Kurangnya tenaga tata usaha di MTsN 15 Boyolali perlu segera mendapatkan tenaga ASN tambahan entah berstatus PNS ataupun PPPK.  Sedangkan menurut Analisa penulis permasalahan yang dapat dicarikan penyelesaiannya secara jangka pendek adalah dengan melakukan diklat/bimtek ulang terhadap pegawai yang menguasai IT agar bisa menjalankan dan menggunakan aplikasi e-RKAM dengan baik, namun hal ini juga beresiko tidak maksimalnya pekerjaan yang akan dilakukan karena beban kerja yang akan semakin berat bagi pegawai tersebut (yang menguasai ICT/IT) yang sudah sangat banyak memegang aplikasi baik aplikasi-aplikasi perbendaharaan, aplikasi-aplikasi BMN (barang milik negara) serta aplikasi-aplikasi Ortala (organisasi dan tata laksana).

Abstract

This study seeks to characterize digital literacy competency development management for educators and teaching staff at State Madrasah Aliyah in Surakarta. This study employs a qualitative descriptive methodology. Interviews, observations, and documentation studies were used to collect data. Data analysis techniques incorporated interactive analytical techniques, such as data collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion. Method triangulation is implemented in data validity standards. According to the findings of this research project, there are three conclusions: First, the management of digital literacy competency development for educators and educational staff at Madrasah Aliyah Surakarta includes: (a) the implementation of planning with work meetings by formulating goals that are in line with the madrasah vision, mission, goals, and programs activity (b) organizing includes determining the madrasah digital literacy team's organizational structure, task distribution, and personnel. (c) the development of digital literacy competencies is implemented through informal programs and formal programs, such as workshops, training, seminars, and MGMP, which are designed to equip digital knowledge and skills, digital culture, digital ethics, and digital security. d) The Madrasah's head conducts internal evaluation and surveillance. Second, the supporting factors include assistance from the madrasah in the form of complete facilities, madrasah DIPA funds, and additional learning support in the form of scholarships that increase digital competence. Third, the nature of human resources (some educators are unaware of digital literacy, and participants are less enthusiastic about participating in development activities) hinders management development.
