Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis peran komite sekolah dalam hal pendidikan orangtua siswa di Sekolah Al Firdaus Surakarta. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif dengan pendekatan diskriptif. Subyek penelitiannya yayasan, komite sekolah guru, pengurus Aorta dan orangtua. Tehnik pengumpulan data dengan wawancarara, observasi dan dokumen. Pemeriksaan keabsahan data dilakukan dengan triangulasi sumber dan metode. Metode analisis datanya menggunakan analisa data interaktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan komite sekolah sudah melaksanakan ke empat fungsinya dengan lengkap, baik sebagai pemberi pertimbangan, agen pendukung, agen pengawas dan sebagai mediator dalam hal mengadakan pendidkan orangtua siswa. Ada beberapa kekurangan berupa komite sekolah belum menjalankan peran sebagai pemberi pertimbangan dalam usulan sarana prasarana. Dalam peran sebagai pengawas, komite sekolah memiliki kekurangan dalam hal pengawasan tenaga dosen dalam Aorta. Ini disebabkan karena para orangtua pekewuh memberikan masukan pada dosen yang berasal dari guru. Dalam hal manajemen komite sekolah, langkah-langkah manajemen sudah dilakukan dengan baik dalam hal mengadakan parenting bagi orangtua, kecuali dalam hal pengawasan masih kurang rutin dilakukan dan beberapa dosen Aorta yang berasal dari guru jarang mendapat pengawasan.

Abstract

This article discusses the marketing of educational services; The application of marketing mix in building branding image at SMK Bina Mandiri Multimedia includes four main elements, namely product, price, promotion, and distribution. This research is a qualitative study where data is obtained through interviews, documentation and observation of all parties involved in this marketing process consisting of the Foundation, Principal and field marketing personnel who make visits to schools. The results showed that in terms of products, SMK Bina Mandiri Multimedia needs to present quality education programs that are relevant to the needs of the multimedia industry. This may include developing an up-to-date curriculum, upgrading facilities and equipment, and ensuring optimal teaching and learning quality. Pricing should consider the added value offered by SMK Bina Mandiri Multimedia. Fair and competitive pricing can attract prospective students and illustrate the quality of education offered by the school. Promotion should be done effectively to introduce and strengthen the brand image of SMK Bina Mandiri Multimedia. Marketing strategies such as advertising, promotional activities, and social media utilization can be used to increase visibility and attract prospective students and parents. Distribution relates to the way SMK Bina Mandiri Multimedia conveys information regarding their educational programs. This may involve cooperation with other educational institutions, participation in education fairs, or utilization of online platforms to connect with potential students. In general, the strategy carried out by SMK Bina Mandiri Multi Media has been quite successful, which can be seen from the SMK Bina Mandiri Multi Media brand which is already quite well known in this area with the number of registrations reaching more than 250 each year. However, in anticipation of increasingly fierce competition, the marketing strategy must always adjust to the changing characteristics of consumers.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan memaparkan penerapan metode Montessori untuk memasukkan nilai-nilai Islam pada anak-anak sekolah dasar, khususnya kelas satu, dua dan tiga. Metode Montessori, hasil karya Maria Montessori dari Italia, mengoptimalkan perkembangan anak dengan lingkungan yang ramah, menarik, aman, serta membantu mereka dalam pemecahan masalah secara individu maupun kelompok. Metode ini sangat fleksibel dan dapat disesuaikan dengan berbagai media, termasuk mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai Islam. Penerapan metode ini menghadapi tantangan budaya dan lokasi yang berbeda. Penelitian ini dilakukan di sebuah sekolah dasar di Yogyakarta yang menerapkan kurikulum Montessori dengan pendekatan Islam. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan sumber data berupa wawancara dan observasi informan yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai Islam terintegrasi dalam proses pembelajaran Montessori. Kurikulum ini tidak langsung memberikan kontribusi pada pemasukan nilai-nilai Islam. Nilai-nilai Islam ditanamkan melalui kebiasaan, ceramah kolaboratif, serta kegiatan yang menarik dan menyenangkan bagi anak-anak. Metode ini berhasil diterapkan di kelas-kelas sekolah dasar, termasuk kelas satu, dua, dan tiga, dengan hasil yang diharapkan. Metode Montessori juga dapat dengan mudah disesuaikan untuk mengaplikasikan nilai-nilai Islam, bahkan dalam konteks budaya dan lokasi yang berbeda.

Abstract

In the method of Foreign Language Teaching, Presentation-Practice-Production (PPP) is used to teach language structures (grammar). The presentation phase is controlled by the lecturer by asking students to make presentations in groups. During the practice phase, learners practice speaking or writing the language structure correctly. Practice activities include drills, multiple-choice exercises, gap-fill exercises, and cue exercises. In this phase, the lecturer's role is to provide positive feedback to students, correct mistakes, and model the correct forms. In the production phase, learners have fully mastered the form and have learned how to produce oral and written texts. This research aims to develop a grammar teaching strategy in Collaborative Learning by employing PPP and some alternative techniques for fourth-semester students in the English Department at Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Sidoarjo. The study employs action research with two cycles. The research findings show an improvement in students' average grammar scores, from 46.22 in the preliminary study to 71 in the first cycle and 81 in the second cycle. Furthermore, the results of the study indicate that students were enthusiastic and active in the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

Learning is a process of interaction between students and educators with learning resources through appropriate strategies, approaches, methods, and learning models in a learning environment to achieve learning objectives, curriculum goals, and educational goals. This research is a qualitative study. The research location is at the Syakur Al-Marzuqi Integrated Islamic Middle School, Ngelingi Hamlet, Bareng Village, Ngasem District, Bojonegoro Regency. This school is under the auspices of an Islamic boarding school, so integration between general and religious studies definitely occurs. As for data collection techniques, they are carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. Meanwhile, for data analysis, the researcher uses the Miles and Huberman data analysis model, whereby after the data is collected (data collection period), data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing are performed. The design of this Islamic Religious Education learning includes active learning methods. The steps of learning in this school are broadly divided into 3 stages: initial activities, core/main material activities, and closing activities. (2) In this application, the role of the teacher must be more professional, both in mastering the material and classroom management. The teacher must also be able to control the learning process in the classroom so that students do not become bored with the material and the way the teacher delivers the material. (3) The implications of this learning are effective for student learning outcomes and also impact the Islamic Religious Education subject teachers.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the description of educators' dedication to the quality of education through use of teaching factories as a way to close the competency gap required by the industrial sector to study at private Islamic vocational schools in Bekasi Regency. The research method used a qualitative descriptive with three-stream analysis of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions from the results of observations and in-depth interviews with participants including school principals and teachers as heads of the teaching factory program and the Bekasi District Education Office as supervisors of the implementation of the teaching factory program. A tree diagram used to explain the structured flow of the results of observations and in-depth interviews. The findings showed that the dedication of teaching staff at the Bekasi Regency Islamic Private Vocational School in achieving the learning quality of the teaching factory program was still very low. Where it is necessary to encourage school principals and related agencies to be able to innovate learning facilities that are relevant to the industrial world at the same level. Encouragement of compensation and opportunities at the next level of education. Efforts to encourage the teaching factory program to emphasize the importance of learning facilities in schools as a means of industrial practice in the classroom. Other efforts include the rights and obligations in building teacher dedication to achieve competent.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis evaluasi strategi (mengidentifikasi faktor eksternal dan internal, mengukur kinerja, melakukan korektif) dalam meningkatkan kualitas layanan Pendidikan Islam. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode studi kasus untuk mengeksplorasi dan memahami makna informasi dari proses pengambilan langkah perbaikan evaluasi strategi untuk meningkatkan kualitas layanan pendidikan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Sekolah Menengah Atas Majlis Tafsir Al Qur an (SMA MTA) Surakarta  sebagai Islamic Boarding School. Data yang dikumpulkan pada penelitian ini adalah data primer dan sekunder. Informasi yang diperoleh yaitu seputar proses pengambilan langkah mengidentifikasi faktor eksternal dan faktor internal dengan analisis SWOT, mengukur kinerja, dan melakukan koreksi untuk  perbaikan mutu layanan.  Informasi yang diperoleh dianalisa dengan langkah-langkah berikut, yaitu (a) mengolah dan mempersiapkan informasi untuk dianalisis; (b) membaca keseluruhan data; (c) mendeskripsikan setting (ranah), orang (partisipan), dan kategori yang dianalisis; (d) deskripsi disajikan dalam narasi/laporan kualitatif; dan (e) membuat interpretasi. Dari hasil penelitian ini diperoleh ; 1) faktor-faktor eksternal  dan internal yang mempengaruhi peningkatan kualitas layanan pendidikan Islam diperoleh melalui; a)  analisis  kekuatan dan kelemahan (internal), seperti; sumber daya manusia, dimilikinya sarana prasarana, daya dukung yayasan,  b) peluang/kesempatan dan ancaman (eksternal), seperti; berdirinya lembaga pendidikan baru, adanya dana BOS, jumlah kemitraan yang banyak, dst, 2) pengukuran kinerja,   capaian kinerja di ukur dengan  membandingan capaian dengan standar atau program yang telah ditetapkan, 3) melakukan koreksi untuk perbaikan, dilakukan dengan menggunakan kriteria ; konsisten, kelayakan,  kesesuaian dan kemanfaatan. Dari hasil temuan tersebut, SMA MTA IBS sebagai Lembaga Pendidikan Islam hendaknya menerapkan manajemen strategik yang sistematis, konsisten, terprogram, komprehensif dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Kelas 6 SD memerlukan perhatian khsusus dalam pendampingan kegiatan belajar karena akan melaksanakan Penilaian Akhir Ta-hun (PAT) sebagai bekal untuk melanjutkan sekolah ke jenjang selanjutnya. Tim KKN-Dik FKIP UMS melakukan pengabdian di SD Muhammadiyah Program Khusus Tumang pada 1 Februari sampai 6 Mareet 2021. Salah satu program yang diusung ialah pem-berdayaan kelompok belajar untuk kelas 6. Pemberdayaan ke-lompok belajar home visit dengan sistem four day four places. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah sebagai bentuk pendalaman materi kelas 6, khususnya Tematik dan Matematika. Strategi kegiatan ini terdiri dari tiga tahap, yaitu identifikasi karakateristik siswa di setiap kelompok belajar, penerapan sistem four day four places dengan dua tempat dalam satu hari, dan pendampingan kelompok belajar siswa dengan metode interaktif. Hasil kelompok belajar dengan four day four places dinilai efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam memahami materi. Penggunaan metode number heads together untuk Tematik, membuat siswa aktif dan berani mengutarakan pendapat. Metode cerdas cermat untuk Ma-tematika, efektif untuk meningkatkan motivasi siswa dalam belajar berhitung, karena terdapat aspek kompetensi di dalamnya. Kegiatan kelompok belajar sistem four day four places dengan penggunaan metode interaktif penting untuk ditindaklanjuti ka-rena efektif untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan siswa.

Abstract

This study analyzed planned innovation to improve the quality of Islamic education management at SMA MTA Surakarta boarding school. It was conducted using a qualitative approach and a case study method to explore and understand information from taking steps to improve strategies of quality education management. The information was analyzed by (a) processing and preparing information for analysis; (b) reading all the data; (c) describing the setting (domain), people (participants), and categories; (d) presenting descriptions in qualitative narratives/reports; and (e) making interpretations. This study showed that 1) to increase teachers' competency. 2) educational innovations at SMA MTA Surakarta include: a) strengthening boarding school governance b) Strengthening the character of the school community c) Innovation in education management, d) Innovation in increasing the competence of teachers and schools e) Innovation in facilities and infrastructure f) Innovation in developing students' soft skills to provide students with provisions so they can adapt to the demands of developments in science and technology. The forms of activity are very varied. As an Islamic Educational Institution, it should implement strategic management that is systematic, consistent, programmed, comprehensive, and sustainable.

Abstract

Educational Institutions must address the rising incidence of sexual harassment against children by systematic prevention measures, such as the early introduction of sexual education. Conducting this research is crucial in order to ascertain the extent to which early childhood education institutions are implementing sexual education at a young age in accordance with children's developmental stages and in a consistent effort to prevent sexual harassment against children. The research employed a qualitative descriptive technique, conducted between July and September 2023. The subject of this study is the classroom teacher, while the informants are the curriculum teacher, the health-responsible teacher, and the school principal of BA Aisiyah Cawas. The methods employed for data collection encompassed observation, interviews, and documentation. To verify the validity of the research data, the researchers used the techniques of method triangulation and source triangulation. Meanwhile, data analysis methods include condensation, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings of this study indicate that Early Childhood Education Institutions can effectively reduce sexual harassment by adopting comprehensive sexual education programs that specifically target early-stage sexual education. The implemented measures encompass acquainting children with anatomical structures and their respective functions, instructing children on independent genital hygiene (toilet training), educating children on permissible and impermissible contact with body parts, segregating sleeping arrangements by gender, exemplifying healthy interpersonal relationships, fostering adherence to hygienic practices, and imparting knowledge on safeguarding oneself against sexual harassment.
