Abstract

Indonesia produces 67.8 million tons of waste annually, with 60% being organic. Proper waste management is essential to mitigate health and environmental risks. Eco-Enzyme, discovered by Dr. Rosukon Poompanvong, is an innovative solution made from organic waste, sugar, and water. It serves multiple purposes, such as cleaning and fertilizing. A workshop for the youth at YAKESMA Aceh aims to teach them how to create Eco-Enzyme soap from organic waste, fostering environmental awareness and creating economically valuable products. The results of the workshop have been very beneficial to many parties, successfully educating the youth of Yakesma Orphanage (Yayasan Kesejahteraan Masyarakat Aceh) in utilizing organic waste to create eco-enzyme soap, which has economic value, practicality, and is environmentally friendly. This workshop also had a positive impact on the participants by enhancing their knowledge and skills in turning organic waste into eco-enzyme soap.

Abstract

With the existence of the Krueng Aceh watershed, it is very helpful for the economy of the Kec, Ulee Kareng, especially the people who utilize the watershed as their livelihood. The purpose of this study was to determine the extent of community participation in managing the Krueng Aceh watershed Kec, Ulee Kareng. To achieve the research objectives, 23 responses were included who manage the watershed and live in the Kec, Ulee Kareng. This research uses a quantitative descriptive approach in order to be able to percentage and describe the level of community participation. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to respondents based on Arnstein's eight ladders of participation so that it could be categorized into high levels of participation. From the results of data processing, it was found that the participation indicators were at the partnership and delegation of power levels. In the study, the highest percentage was 20% at the level of community power and the lowest percentage was 5% at the level of anger management. Based on this data, the community that manages the Krueng Aceh watershed in Ulee Kareng Sub-district, Banda Aceh City participates in maintaining the watershed.

Abstract

This study discusses community participation in forest rehabilitation in Kampung Jagong Jeget, Jagong Jeget District, Central Aceh District based on Arnstein's theory. This study used a qualitative method by distributing research questionnaires. To determine the level of community participation in rehabilitation in Jagong Jeget Village, Jagong Jeget District, Central Aceh District. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to respondents based on Arnstein's eight participation ladders so that they could be categorized into 3 levels of participation, namely high, medium and low. All parameters given to 38 respondents are in a low position. The highest percentage is in the manipulation stage with a percentage of 14,8 % and the lowest percentage is in the therapy and partnership stages with a percentage of 11,02 %. This means that all parameters of the degree of community participation are still not optimal. Thus it can be concluded that most of the people in Kampung Jagong Jeget, Jagong Jeget District, Central Aceh District are still not participating in forest rehabilitation.

Abstract

Pasar berfungsi sebagai muara dari produk rakyat juga merupakan lapangan kerja yang berarti bagi masyarakat. Pemindahan lokasi Pasar Peunayong ke Pasar Terpadu Lamdingin berdasarkan beberapa penyebab meliputi penataan kota, pemerataan dan pendistribusian ekonomi pada kawasan pesisir serta mendukung konsep pembangunan kawasan PPS Kutaraja. Akibat relokasi pedagang mengaku mengalami kerugian selama berjualan di Pasar Terpadu Lamdingin karena penjualan sulit laku. Tujuan Penelitian untuk mengetahui dampak relokasi Pasar Peunayong ke Pasar Terpadu Lamdingin terhadap pendapatan pedagang. Dilakukan penelitian kualitatif dengan mengambil data langsung dari pedagang sebanyak 15 narasumber. Hasil analisis bahwa dampak relokasi Pasar Peunayong ke Pasar Lamdingin terhadap pendapatan pedagang, meliputi kebijakan relokasi, proses relokasi, fasilitas, kesempatan kerja dan pendapatan pedagang di Pasar Terpadu Lamdingin sebagian besar indikator yang menjadi soal pertanyaan menunjukkan hal yang positif seperti kebijakan dan proses relokasi pasar, fasilitas yang didapat para pedagang. Dampak negatif yang terjadi berkurangnya pendapatan pedagang sebagaimana ketika masih berdagang di Pasar Peunayong.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan hasil belajar geografi menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT berbantuan media permainan ular tangga dan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD pada siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Mesjid Raya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain quasi eksperimental design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini seluruh siswa kelas XI SMA N 1 Mesjid Raya yang berjumlah 90 siswa dengan pegambilan sampel dua kelas melalui teknik purposive sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian yaitu kelas XI IPS 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen I dan kelas XI IPS 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen II. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian menggunakan tes. Kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas, homogenitas dan hipotsis. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diketahui hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh nilai thitung 2.19 ttabel 1.68 yang berarti Ha diterima, sehingga disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa yang diajarkan dengan model TGT berbantuan media permainan ular tangga lebih baik dibandingkan dengan hasil belajar yang diajarkan dengan model STAD pada mata pelajaran geografi kelas XI IPS di SMA N 1 Mesjid Raya

Abstract

Sungai merupakan waduk alami yang berperan penting sebagai sumber air dan tempat aliran air permukaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji dampak pencemaran deterjen di Sungai Irigasi Kutatinggi akibat aktivitas pencucian pakaian dan pembuangan limbah rumah tangga. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif melalui observasi lapangan, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas mencuci dengan deterjen konvensional secara langsung di sungai berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan nilai TDS, terutama di bagian hilir, yang berdampak pada penurunan kualitas air dan munculnya keluhan kesehatan seperti iritasi kulit. Masyarakat umumnya belum mengenal atau menggunakan deterjen ramah lingkungan dan belum memiliki sistem pengolahan limbah yang memadai. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penggunaan tanaman air penyerap polutan, pembangunan penampungan limbah deterjen, serta edukasi masyarakat untuk beralih ke produk pembersih berbahan alami. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap pentingnya menjaga ekosistem sungai dan menjadi dasar kebijakan pengelolaan limbah domestik di tingkat lokal.

Abstract

Critical thinking and problem solving are skills needed by students to deal with the complexity and ambiguity of information. The teaching at the right level (TaRL) approach is a learning approach that orients students to learn in a learning design based on ability levels. The implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka (Independent Curriculum) is one of the efforts aimed at developing students' character as well as their critical thinking and problem-solving skills. The purpose of this study is to develop a geography learning model that utilizes the teaching at the right level approach to enhance critical thinking and problem-solving skills within the framework of the Independent Curriculum. This research method uses research and development, using a 4D development model (four-D model) with stages, namely, define, design, develop, and disseminate. The subjects of this study included validators, who were geographylecturers and teachers, as well as students from SMA Negeri 2 and SMA Negeri 7 in Banda Aceh. Data collection techniques used feasibility test sheets, tests, and questionnaires, which were analyzed with N-gain. Research Results: At the defining stage, the division of heterogeneous student groups made it difficult for teachers to develop students' critical thinking skills. The designing stage consisted of designing teaching modules, student worksheets, and assessment instruments. The development stage, expert validation, content, and construction of the developed model fall into the category of highly feasible implementation. During the dissemination stage, student N-gain increased by 50% in the medium category and by 23.3% in the high category. Student responses to the learning model were in the very good category, with a percentage of 93.8%.

Abstract

Wih Pesam Sub-district in Bener Meriah Regency is an area that has a high level of vulnerability to landslides due to geographical conditions dominated by steep slopes, high rainfall, and vulnerable soil types..This research aims to map landslide-prone areas by utilizing Geographic Information System (GIS) technology using the parameters of rainfall, soil type, slope, land cover, and geology. The methods used include overlay, weighting, and scoring techniques based on the guidelines of Puslittanak Bogor (2004). The mapping results show three vulnerability classifications: low (17.8 ha), medium (1,315.7 ha) and high (1,976.6 ha)..The majority of areas are in the high category, indicating a high potential for landslides in the area. The map resulting from this analysis is expected to be a reference in disaster mitigation, development planning, as well as increasing public awareness of landslide risks.

Abstract

Indonesia is a maritime country consisting of 17,000 islands with a sea area of ​​around 70%. As a maritime country with a coastline of 108,000 km and making Indonesia the country with the longest coastline. The coastline is the boundary line between land and sea water which has a non-permanent or dynamic nature. Changes in this coastline are usually dominated by erosion and sedimentation phenomena that occur along the coastline, in addition to these two phenomena, natural disasters such as tsunamis can also have an impact on a coastline. As in late 2004, Aceh experienced a fairly severe tsunami with a strength reaching 9.1 magnitudes which caused almost the entire southwestern part of Aceh to be damaged and Lampuuk beach is one of the beaches that has clearly experienced changes due to the impact of the tsunami. A coastline can be measured for changes by comparing one period of a coastline with another period. A geographic information system is a computer-based mapping system used to enter, store, recall, manage, analyze, and produce geographically referenced data or geospatial data. By using GIS we can analyze coastline changes by comparing multitemporal image data. This study aims to determine the changes in the coastline that occurred on Lampuuk Beach, Lhoknga District, Aceh Besar Regency. This study uses Google Earth image data from 2005-2025 to determine the changes in the coastline that occurred and to determine the extent of abrasion and accretion that occurred on Lampuuk Beach using the digital shoreline analysis system (DSAS) method. The results of this study indicate that within a period of 20 years along the Lampuuk coastline, erosion and sedimentation phenomena in the form of abrasion and accretion have occurred, where the highest abrasion value along Lampuuk Beach reached 1.09 hectares and the highest accretion value along Lampuuk Beach reached 2.88 hectares.

Abstract

Kabupaten Aceh Tamiang merupakan salah satu wilayah dalam Provinsi Aceh yang berpotensi besar mengalami bencana banjir. Hal ini terjadi karena kondisi geografi, tingginya curah hujan, serta perubahan dalam cara penggunaan tanah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeteksi dan memetakan lokasi yang rentan terhadap banjir di kawasan ini dengan memanfaatkan teknologi Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG) sebagai alat untuk analisis spasial. Metode yang diterapkan adalah teknik overlay dengan penetapan bobot untuk lima variabel utama, yaitu kemiringan lereng, tipe tanah, jumlah curah hujan, penggunaan lahan, dan kepadatan jaringan sungai. Data dikumpulkan melalui studi literatur serta analisis data spasial menggunakan perangkat lunak ArcGIS 10.8. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kerentanan banjir di Kabupaten Aceh Tamiang bervariasi, mulai dari kawasan yang tidak berisiko hingga yang sangat berisiko. Peta hasil pemetaan diharapkan menjadi referensi bagi pemerintah daerah dalam merencanakan tata ruang dan pengembangan infrastruktur yang lebih terarah. Penelitian ini juga menekankan bahwa SIG mampu memberikan informasi spasial yang akurat dan bermanfaat dalam upaya pencegahan risiko bencana banjir di wilayah ini.
