Abstract

During adolescence, in child development, physical and mental readiness is very dependent on the development of older people in the family. Promiscuity is difficult to control, therefore more attention needs to be given to teenagers, providing boundaries in living a social life. The archipelago's perspective is related to the Indonesian nation itself, and the social environment in which it lives, which is the Indonesian nation's outlook on life based on Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution. Free sex often conflicts with the morals, religious norms, customs and culture that characterize the nation. For this reason, Archipelago Insight emphasizes the formation of national character through consistent moral, religious and cultural education. Indonesian insight is related to free sex and promiscuity, due to the influence of the local environment, lack of attention and supervision from parents, and lack of supervision by teaching staff at schools. The impacts of sexuality include physical changes, the development of the infectious disease HIV/AIDS, psychological impacts, and physiological impacts. The benefits of sex education include conveying sufficient understanding about free sex material, forming attitudes and providing an understanding of sex in all its varied manifestations, providing an understanding of the importance of moral values, knowledge about sexual mistakes and deviations, to reduce prostitution, as well as excessive sexual exploration. . Education and coaching must be able to provide a more in-depth understanding, including from parents and families.

The misuse of narcotics continues to rise, as reported by the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) of Indonesia. Narcotics cases from 2020 to 2022 increased from 833 to 879 cases. According to the latest data from BNN in 2023, the province of West Sumatra recorded 65 thousand of its residents involved in narcotics cases. This number places West Sumatra sixth in the highest narcotics cases in Indonesia. Therefore, serious efforts from various parties are required to address this issue. Abstract

This study is a literature review that aims to understand the role of Pancasila as an ethical system in preventing online game addiction among adolescents. The issues addressed in this study focus on how the values embedded in Pancasila can shape adolescents' character to help them exercise self-control and use technology wisely. The research questions explored include: (1) how Pancasila functions as an ethical system in everyday practice, and (2) how this role can help anticipate online game addiction among teenagers. Pancasila not only serves as the foundation of the state but also contains moral values that can guide individuals to act wisely amid digital developments. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach by reviewing five relevant academic journals to gain a deeper understanding of the relationship between Pancasila ethics and adolescents’ digital behavior. The findings indicate that Pancasila values can be implemented through character education in schools, active parental involvement in shaping children's personalities, and a supportive social environment that fosters discipline and self-awareness. Consistent application of these values can help adolescents avoid addictive gaming behavior and develop a sense of responsibility in digital life. Thus, Pancasila plays a strategic role as an ethical system capable of instilling noble values in facing the challenges of the digital era.
