Abstract

Tulisan ini dilatarbelakangi hasil penelitian, ditemukan bahwa menentukan dan menyelesaikan masalah terkait volume kubus merupakan salah satu topik yang menjadi hambatan belajar (learning obstacle) dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal yang berkaitan dengan materi tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh deskripsi tentang desain didaktis volume kubus yang dapat memudahkan siswa memahami konsep tersebut. Berkaitan dengan permasalahan tersebut, maka perlu adanya alternif pembelajaran untuk mempermudah siswa memahami menentukan dan menyelesaikan masalah terkait dengan volume kubus. Salah satu alternatif desain pembelajaran yang digunakan adalah dengan menerapkan pendekatan Didactical Design Research disertai dengan penggunaan kubus satuan. Hal ini diyakini bahwa siswa akan memiliki pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang penentuan volume dan pemecahan masalah ketika mereka menggunakan kubus satuan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan model Didactical Design Research (DDR). Adapun subjek penelitiannya adalah siswa kelas V. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, siswa dapat menguasai operasi penghitungan perkalian yang diperlukan untuk menghitung volume kubus.

Abstract

Keadaan saat siswa belajar di Sekolah Dasar dihadapkan dengan permasalahan siswa yang minat belajarnya kurang. Peran guru diperlukan dengan menggunakan metode belajar yang menarik agar siswa termotivasi dan lebih meningkatkan hasil belajar. Riset ini memiliki tujuan yaitu untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran game interaktif pada materi gaya dan perpindahannya terintegrasi HOTS untuk kelas IV Sekolah Dasar di Pekanbaru. Riset ini termasuk ke dalam penelitian pengembangan dengan memakai model dari Borg and Gall yang hanya sampai dengan 8 tahapan, karena disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan dan waktu penelitian. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri atas siswa kelas IV dan guru kelas IV, tim ahli validator, dan peneliti. Metode pengumpulan data yaitu dengan observasi, tes, kesioner, dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis data awal, analisis produk, dan analisis data akhir. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh yaitu uji validasi ahli media sebanyak 86% (layak), uji validasi ahli materi sebanyak 84,25% (layak), serta hasil uji efektivitas yang diperoleh bahwa pada nilai sebelum dan sesudah terjadi peningkatan nilai rata – rata pengetahuan. Jadi, media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis dengan bantuan Canva memiliki kualifikasi yang baik, layak, serta efektiv untuk dIPAkai dalam melakukan proses pembelajaran dengan mengintegrasikan HOTS.

Abstract

This study addresses the lack of higher-order thinking Skills (HOTS)-based evaluation instruments in Akidah Akhlak learning that can measure the critical thinking abilities of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) students. The study aims to develop valid and reliable HOTS questions. The research employed the Tessmer development model, consisting of self-evaluation, expert validation, small group trials, and field testing. The subjects were fifth-grade students of MI Tarbiyah Islamiyah Mandah. Validation results from three experts showed an average validity score of 4.3, categorized as highly valid based on content, construct, and language aspects. Field testing revealed that most students fell into the “good” category for critical thinking skills, with an average score of 63.2%. This research produced ten sets of HOTS questions that meet validity and reliability criteria as evaluation instruments for Akidah Akhlak learning at the MI level. The findings contribute to developing HOTS-based learning instruments and recommend further research to create similar instruments for other subjects, expanding the population and integrating technology.

Abstract

Matematika memiliki peranan yang sangat penting dalam kehidupan siswa sekarang dan nanti. Salah satu komponen dari serangkaian mata pelajaran yang mempunyai peranan penting dalam pendidikan adalah matematika Penelitian ini di latar belak angi oleh hasil analisis studi pendahuluan yaitu adanya hambatan belajar (learning obstacle) yang dialami siswa pada materi perkalian yang sudah dilakukan oleh peneliti pada pembelajaran matematika di sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Didactical Design Research (DDR) yang terdiri dari tiga tahapan, yaitu analisis situasi didaktis sebelum pembelajaran, analisis metapedadidaktik dan analisis retrospektif dengan mengaitkan hasil analisis situasi didaktis hipotesis dengan hasil analisis metapedadidaktik. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mendeskripsikan learning obstacle yang dialami siswa. Proses pengembangan desain didaktis dilaksanakan di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Membaca sangat penting untuk mendapatkan informasi dan memberi pembaca wawasan baru. Fokus penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah logika taksonomi bloom dapat membantu siswa SDIT Sekolah Al Izhar Pekanbaru dalam membaca teks eksplanasi. Penelitian ini bersifat kuantitatif dan menggunakan eksperimen semu. Siswa kelas VI SDIT Al Izhar Pekanbaru, yang terdiri dari 24 orang, dipilih sebagai kelompok kontrol sebelum dan sesudah ujian dan penting bagi mereka memahami teks eksplanasi. Digunakan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa memiliki kemampuan membaca teks eksplanasi dengan skor rata-rata 82,92 pada pretest (di bawah KKM 83) dan 93,75 pada posttest, yang masing-masing berada dalam kategori sangat baik. Menurut uji hipotesis dengan uji T sampel berpasangan, Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai t hitung lebih besar dari t tabel, yaitu 5,642 lebih besar dari 1,17139. Ini menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan membaca teks eksplanasi siswa dipengaruhi secara signifikan oleh penggunaan taksonomi berpikir logis taksonomi Bloom.

Abstract

This study intends to develop a critical thinking question grid instrument in grade I mathematics learning. This study aims to measure the instrument of critical thinking questions that are valid, reliable and the level of difficulty. The critical thinking indicators used in this study are interpretation, analyzing and evaluating. This research uses the Research and Development (R & D) research method or research and development with the 4D development model which is simplified to 3D. In this study involved 15 respondents of class I students of SDN 032 kualu, as for the form of instrument lattice questions developed in the form of essay questions totaling 15 items. The results of the research analyzed using SPPS version 25.00 for windows show that all questions are valid with a significant level of r table value for df (N-2) at a significant level of 0.05 is 0.5140, that is, if r count> from r table then the question is said to be valid. For the reliability of the question, the Cronbach alpha result is 0.882, if sig. more than 0.60, it is declared reliable and can be used. For the level of difficulty of the 15 questions, there are 7 questions in the easy category, namely question numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 9, 11 and 14. For questions in the medium category, there are 6 items, namely question numbers 5, 6, 7, 8, 10 and 15. In addition, there are 2 items in the difficult category (SR), namely question numbers 12 and 13. So it can be concluded that the question grids developed can be used to improve students' critical thinking skills

Abstract

Research instruments are the most important element in research. With a valid research instrument, the results of the research will be valid as well. But if the instruments or research tools used in the study are not effective, then the results obtained are certainly not as expected. Survey equipment is used to measure the subject of survey variables. Apart from that, the use of instruments in research is to collect data. This study was used to test the emotional intelligence that has been developed by researchers. The developed emotional intelligence instrument consists of five indicators, namely: 1) the ability to recognize oneself, 2) the ability to manage emotions, 3) the ability to motivate oneself, 4) the ability to recognize the emotions of others, and 5) the skill of cultivating relationships with others. This research is a research and development (Research and Development) involving 60 respondents, namely students of class V MIN 6 Central Tapanuli who were selected by stratified sampling and random. The data were analyzed using SPSS version 26.00 for Windows to confirm internal consistency with Cronbach Alpha. From the questionnaire results, the questionnaire items are valid and reliable, and the average reliability value of Cronbach's alpha is high (0.720 > 0.6), and this emotional intelligence index is used to measure the emotional intelligence of elementary school students.

Abstract

In the learning process, having access to various educational materials is a fundamental necessity. The information needed to understand thematic education can be found in a variety of learning resources. Where the purpose of providing teaching materials is to make the learning process more interesting and easy to learn, With all the basic skills that need to be mastered, the purpose of developing teaching materials is to make the learning process more interesting and easy to learn. Teachers must have the creative abilities and inventiveness needed to produce teaching materials in order to maximize the potential for developing creative teaching materials for thematic learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the ability of grade IV teachers at SD Negeri 004 Teluk Pinang, Gaung Anak Serka District to make thematic teaching materials based on the 2013 curriculum. The type of research presented here is known as quantitative descriptive research. While class IV-A teachers are the topic of this research, the ability of class teachers to produce thematic teaching materials based on the 2013 curriculum is the object of this research. The presentation formula was used in analyzing the data collected for this investigation. Based on the findings, class IV A teachers at SDN 004 Teluk Pinang, Gaung Anak Serka District, were able to develop thematic teaching materials based on the 2013 curriculum; however, teachers do not use teaching materials to facilitate learning in their classrooms. This is supported by observational data, which obtained 70 percent of the total votes and is included in the strong category.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out whether there is a relationship between the level of students' interest in reading and their academic achievement. Interest in reading is treated as an independent variable in this study, while learning achievement is treated as the dependent variable. This study uses an ex-post facto design and a quantitative approach to analyze the data. The participants in this study were all fifth grade students at public elementary school 009 Teratak, Rumbio Jaya District, Kampar Regency. The number of students is 33. Various methods, including questionnaires and careful documentation, were used to collect the data used in this study. A direct application of linear regression analysis was chosen as the method for processing the data. According to the findings of this study, interest in reading turned out to have a positive effect on the learning achievement of fifth grade students at public elementary school 009 Teratak. The contribution value that can be obtained through reading interest is 21,2 percent. The influence of reading interest on the level of student achievement is calculated into high scores based on research findings, especially by observing the pattern that emerges from the distribution of their test scores. Based on the findings of this study, one can draw the conclusion that students' level of interest in reading has an impact on their academic performance. Increasing students' interest in reading is a form of long-term investment that can help students in the learning process and can also support students in achieving a higher level of learning achievement than before.

Abstract

This study describes the improvement of the Team Assisted Individualization learning model in the fourth grade of SD Negeri 028 Kubang Jaya in improving students' mathematical critical thinking skills. Data collection was carried out through observation, testing, and documentation, with qualitative data analysis using percentages. Based on the research results and data analysis, it was shown that before the action, 11 (73%) students were in the less critical category, and 3 (20%) students were in the critical category. 6.6% of students are in the quite critical category. Team-assisted, individualized learning applies remedial actions. After taking corrective action with the team-assisted individualization learning model. Then corrective action is taken with the team-assisted individualization learning model. In cycle I, students' critical thinking skills increased; 6 students, or 40%, were in the critical category, and 9 students, or 60%, were in the moderately critical category. Furthermore, in cycle II, the ability to think critically has increased: 8 students, or 53%, are in the very critical category, 4 students, or 26%, are in the moderately critical category, and 3 students, or 20%, are in the critical category. In cycle II, students' critical thinking skills have achieved the target success of the action set. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the team-assisted individualization learning model can improve students' critical thinking skills in fourth-grade mathematics at Public Elementary School 028 Kubang Jaya.
