Abstract

Background: The rapid development of digital marketing, especially through social media, has changed consumer behavior in seeking information and making purchase decisions. Activities such as influencer marketing engagement, user-generated content (UGC), and viral beauty trends are the main strategies in promoting products, especially in the luxury makeup industry. However, the effectiveness of these activities does not always directly affect purchase intention. Objective: This study examines how influencer marketing engagement, UGC, and viral beauty trends influence purchase intention for luxury makeup products, with digital personal branding as a mediating variable. Methods: This study takes a quantitative approach with a causal associative design. This study's data collection methods include a literature review and questionnaires. This study's analysis utilized a Structural Equation Modeling approach based on Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). Results: This study shows that influencer marketing engagement, user-generated content, and viral beauty trends have a positive effect on shaping consumers' digital personal branding on social media. The higher the engagement with influencers, the more content from users, and the stronger the trend develops, the stronger the digital identity of consumers is formed. Digital personal branding has also proven to be the most dominant factor in increasing purchase intention for luxury makeup products. In addition, these three variables affect purchase intention both directly and indirectly, with a stronger indirect effect through digital personal branding. Conclusion: Thus, digital personal branding plays a key role as a mediator that strengthens the relationship between digital marketing activities and consumer purchase intention.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of brand awareness, brand image, and product quality on purchase decisions of Scarlett Whitening in Denpasar City. A quantitative approach was employed using a questionnaire distributed to 100 respondents. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression. The results indicate that brand awareness, brand image, and product quality have a positive and significant effect on purchase decisions. The implication of this study provides valuable insights for companies to improve brand strategies and product quality in order to influence consumer purchase decisions more effectively in a competitive and dynamic market environment.

Abstract

Hindu communities have shifted ceremonial practices from household settings to organized venues known as Griya in contemporary times. This study aims to examine the business opportunities of Griya Event Spaces as a potential solution to household economic challenges in Tampaksiring, Gianyar. This study employed a qualitative research design with a descriptive approach to gain an in-depth understanding of business opportunities. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, employing a qualitative descriptive approach. The findings reveal that griya event spaces demonstrate a strong customer-oriented approach, as reflected in the quality of services provided. Nevertheless, its marketing practices remain inadequate. The management primarily adopts a passive strategy, relying on customers to initiate contact and attend ceremonies without actively engaging in promotional activities or efforts to attract visitors. Consequently, the involvement of the local community, particularly those acting as pengayah or supporting business actors, has not been optimized. Furthermore, the study identifies limitations in the proportional recording of employees and the management of human resources. The absence of a formal customer service system further reflects the reliance on conventional practices, characterized by a passive approach and a lack of proactive promotional strategies.
