Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify risks to operational factors in PT. XZY identifies and formulates existing handlers in PT. XZY related to risks to work operations. This study used the FMEA method. FMEA is a method used to perform analysis inductively, carried out repeatedly and systematically so that the process can be documented. Data was obtained using direct observation and interviews with logistics workers. Based on the results of problem identification and fmea calculation results, 19 operational risks were obtained in the logistics department of PT. XZY and varying RPN values, with the smallest value being 12 and the largest value being 729. Thus, it is concluded that the 3 highest risks in operations that can hinder work activities are limited product storage, improper placement of spare parts, and input errors in the system

Abstract

This study intends to explain the profit optimization model for UMKM to find out the profit optimization model for UMKM Kue Dongkal Awug Akang by using the simplex linear programming method. The population in this study was obtained from data from the results of the economic census, there were 142 business actors in the culinary field of food and beverages 508 MSMEs This research uses a single sampling technique namely the method of taking one MSME representing a number of the population More specifically, the sample chosen in this research is the UMKM Dongkal Awug Kang Cake The results of the study concluded that profit optimization can be applied to UMKM Dongkal Awug Kang Cakes which in actual conditions produce 24 portions of Traditional Dongkal Cakes (x1) and 37 portions of Contemporary Dongkal Cakes (x2) Then after optimization, it was found that there was an increase in production of 7 portions at optimal conditions. As well as the results of trimming waste on production factors efficiently so that it can increase optimal profit results.

Abstract

Tata letak fasilitas lantai produksi sangat mempengaruhi proses produksi yang terjadi dalam sebuah pabrik. Perancangan tata letak fasilitas lantai produksi haruslah direncanakan dengan sebaik mungkin agar tercipta tata letak fasilitas yang efisien dan optimal dengan panjang lintasan material handling yang pendek. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang ulang tata letak fasilitas lantai produksi agar menjadi lebih efisien dan optimal dengan menggunakan metode Activity Relationship Chart (ARC) dan Area Allocation Diagram (AAD). Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah bengkel konstruksi Damai Teknik dengan sampling jenuh atau semua populasi digunakan sebagai sampel yaitu area poduksi di Damai Teknik. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa usulan tata letak (layout) yang terpilih dalam penelitian ini memiliki jarak material handling yang lebih pendek dapat dilihat pada gambar 4 hal ini dapat mengurangi pemborosan tenaga dan memangkas jarak material handling sehingga waktu pengerjaan lebih cepat dengan efektivitas 77,59 persen. Selain jarak material handling yang dapat dipangkas, pemindahan fasiltas juga memperhitungkan nilai estetika lingkungan kerja dan kebersihan produk setelah jadi. Serta area packing dijauhkan dari toilet dan area penggerindaan yang menghasilkan debu.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengangkat permasalahan tentang bagaimana upaya pemilihan supplier bahanbaku yang dilakukan oleh PT. XYZ Gresik dengan menggunakan Analytical Hierarchy Process(AHP) untuk mendapatkan supplier dengan bahan baku yang sesuai dan mencari rekanan jangkapanjang. Metode ini dilakukan pemilihan supplier dengan beberapa kriteria dan alternatif yangditerapkan hingga pihak perusahaan mendapat feedback serta bisa memudahkan dalampemilihan supplier bahan baku. Dengan cara melakukan pemilihan supplier menggunakanmetode Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) dengan beberapa kriteria dan alternatif yangditerapkan dalam penelitian ini, dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa penentuan dalam pemilihanSupplier yang layak untuk dipilih yaitu PT. Krakatau Steel dengan menggunakan perhitunganmetode AHP di dapatkan nilai tertinggi yaitu 0.4742, nilai tertinggi didapatkan oleh PT. KrakatauSteel. Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to broaden students' knowledge about marketing, especially digital marketing. Entrepreneurship as one of the materials in the SMK curriculum has been successfully implemented as an alternative in producing graduates who have had an average career as employees, become entrepreneurs who are able to make a product or service and sell it to the market. However, in practice students only learn how to make and sell, not to market and develop their business. Meanwhile, the world is currently entering the era of e-commerce where the majority of products are marketed via the internet. This service activity is carried out to increase students' insight and skills in order to develop and expand the market for selling their products so that it will increase business turnover. The training is carried out using a workshop method, where students practice marketing their products through Instagram and Facebook. After that, an evaluation of the increase in customer engagement is carried out. From the results of the evaluation, it was found that engagement increased by 20% after being paid to promote students' business social media.

Abstract

The implementation of assistance for UMKM Makmur Dua Putri towards business development and professionalism was chosen using Branding and Packaging steps. The branding logo of the letters "MDP" is an abbreviation or acronym for Makmur Dua Putri, the dominant letter "M" with the cutting of the next two letters, namely "DP", is the concept that "Makmur" is the goal of this business. Of course, for every business, the goal of its vision and mission is prosperity. The text at the bottom "Prosperous Two Daughters" emphasizes the meaning, namely to interpret the good fortune of the trust given by God to two daughters. The choice of green is synonymous with coolness or returning to nature. This branding emphasizes that the animal feed made is made from ingredients that are returned to nature and are environmentally friendly. After obtaining the brand name and packaging, the animal feed business in Jatikalang village, Krian subdistrict, Sidoarjo district, will develop the marketing process outside Java.

Abstract

Pendistribusian air ke masyarakat warga Desa Batang-Batang Daya dengan memanfaatkan teknologi pompa hibrida, yaitu dengan menggunakan energi tenaga angin dan tenaga matahari. Pompa ini cocok untuk dimanfaatkan di area permukiman dengan potensi alam angin dan matahari. Pompa hibrida di desain untuk menutupi kekurangan energi dari masing-masing sumber, dimana jika hembusan angin tidak stabil dapat dipenuhi dengan energi matahari, ataupun sebaliknya. Sistem hibrid turbin angin dan solar sel mampu menghidupkan pompa air, sehingga pompa bisa mengalirkan air dari sumur ke tandon air. Pengolahan listrik tenaga surya memerlukan sistem otomatis dengan memutus sirkulasi sistem pengisian baterai jika sudah penuh, hal ini bertujuan untuk menghindari kerusakan pada baterai. Selanjutnya disambungkan dengan pompa, sensor dan modem internet agar dapat dimanfaatkan dengan koneksi IoT. Dengan koneksi IoT ini dapat dilakukan monitor dengan penggunaan smartphone untuk data indikator sensor debit, kelembaman tanah dan kecepatan angin. Berdasarkan hasil di lapangan bahwa terjadi peningkatan jumlah kebutuhan air bersih sebesar 50% dengan penggunaan sumur bor dan pompa hibrida. Hal ini tentu produktivitas kinerja petani dan peternak sapi di Desa Batang Batang Daya meningkat sebesar 70%

Abstract

This study examines the factors influencing students' decisions in selecting boarding houses in Surabaya, an increasingly critical issue as demand for student housing rises post-pandemic. A mixed-method approach was employed, beginning with open-ended questionnaires to identify broad preferences, followed by closed-ended questionnaires to rank key factors. Factor analysis using SPSS revealed three dominant factors: security and environment (33.79%), location and price (22.19%), and facilities (20.47%). Among these, security and environment emerged as the most influential, underscoring the importance of safety and a clean, comfortable setting. Location and price ranked second, with students favoring affordable boarding houses near campuses and essential services. Facilities, including high-speed internet and clean sanitation, also significantly impacted decisions. These findings offer practical insights for boarding house owners to prioritize safety measures, enhance cleanliness, and improve facilities to attract students. While the results align with existing literature on housing preferences, this study is limited by its sample size and focus on Surabaya, which may not generalize to other contexts. Future research could explore additional factors such as parking availability or shared amenities and extend the analysis to other cities for comparative insights. This research contributes to understanding student housing preferences and offers actionable recommendations for managing boarding houses in urban educational hubs.

Abstract

Industri fashion mengalami transformasi fundamental dengan integrasi kecerdasan buatan (AI) dalam berbagai aspek, mulai dari desain, produksi, hingga pemasaran. AI telah merevolusi cara industri ini beroperasi dengan memungkinkan personalisasi tren, prediksi permintaan pasar, serta optimalisasi rantai pasok secara lebih efisien dan akurat. Teknologi berbasis machine learning, computer vision, dan natural language processing berperan dalam menganalisis data konsumen, mengembangkan desain otomatis, serta meningkatkan pengalaman pelanggan melalui sistem rekomendasi berbasis AI. Selain itu, AI berkontribusi dalam pengurangan limbah produksi melalui optimalisasi penggunaan bahan baku dan prediksi tren mode yang lebih presisi, sehingga meningkatkan aspek keberlanjutan industri fashion. Penelitian ini meninjau penerapan AI dalam industri fashion dengan fokus pada berbagai teknologi inovatif yang digunakan dalam pengembangan desain fashion, e-commerce, serta manajemen rantai pasok. Studi ini juga mengidentifikasi tantangan utama dalam implementasi AI, termasuk biaya investasi tinggi, ketergantungan pada data berkualitas, serta isu etika terkait bias algoritma dan dampak terhadap tenaga kerja manusia. Meskipun menghadapi tantangan tersebut, penerapan AI menawarkan peluang besar untuk meningkatkan efisiensi operasional, mempercepat inovasi desain, dan memperkuat daya saing industri fashion di tingkat global. Dengan berkembangnya teknologi AI, industri fashion diharapkan dapat lebih adaptif, inovatif, dan berkelanjutan dalam menghadapi dinamika pasar global. Hasil penelitian ini dapat memberikan wawasan bagi akademisi dan praktisi industri fashion dalam memahami potensi serta implikasi jangka panjang dari adopsi AI, sekaligus mendorong penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai integrasi teknologi ini dalam berbagai aspek industri fashion.

Abstract

Objective: Meaningful work is an essential aspect of teachers that can be influential in improving the quality of education; therefore, this study aimed to identify antecedent factors and determinants of meaningful work in teachers. Method: This study used a systematic literature review to examine the variables that can be antecedents and determinants of meaningful work. Results: Based on the literature studies that have been conducted, it is known that variables such as calling orientation, work role fit, workplace attachment, coworker relations, job design, altruistic behavior, authentic leadership, job crafting, and perceptions of organizational identification can be antecedent factors of meaningful work of teachers. Meaningful work can determine variables such as work attitude, teacher-student relationships, work engagement, burnout, resilience, self-rated health, intention to leave, corrosion at the character level, and organizational commitment. Novelty: This study thoroughly examines the antecedents and determinants of teachers' meaningful work variables, which, other yet to behave, need to be more widely researched.
