Abstract

Cargo bike merupakan salah satu inovasi transportasi berkelanjutan yang berfungsi mendukung efisiensi logistik perkotaan melalui kemampuan angkut beban yang lebih besar dibanding sepeda konvensional. Namun, peningkatan kapasitas muatan menimbulkan tantangan terhadap kekuatan dan kestabilan struktur rangka. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kekuatan frame cargo bike menggunakan metode Finite Element Analysis (FEA) berbasis perangkat lunak SolidWorks. Analisis dilakukan dengan meninjau distribusi tegangan, deformasi total, dan faktor keamanan akibat beban statis yang diterapkan pada model tiga dimensi. Kajian teori menyoroti pengaruh material, geometri, dan titik sambungan terhadap respons mekanik rangka sepeda. Hasil telaah menunjukkan bahwa material dengan rasio kekuatan terhadap berat tinggi, seperti aluminium dan serat karbon, berpotensi memberikan performa struktural yang lebih baik dibanding baja konvensional. Pendekatan simulasi numerik melalui FEA terbukti efektif dalam mengevaluasi karakteristik kekakuan dan ketahanan struktur, serta menjadi dasar perancangan frame cargo bike yang lebih efisien, kuat, dan aman untuk mendukung transportasi ramah lingkungan di kawasan perkotaan.Key Words or Phrases; Cargo Bike; Frame Design; SolidWorks; Finite Element Analysis; Structural Strength

Abstract

Permasalahan kualitas sumber daya manusia (SDM) menjadi faktor krusial dalam keberlangsungan perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat motivasi kerja dan kepuasan kerja karyawan di perusahaan keramik dengan menggunakan dua metode teruji, yaitu Job Diagnostic Survey (JDS) dan Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire (MSQ). Metode JDS digunakan untuk mengukur tingkat motivasi kerja berdasarkan dimensi inti pekerjaan, sedangkan MSQ digunakan untuk menilai kepuasan kerja berdasarkan faktor intrinsik dan ekstrinsik. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh karyawan PT. PCI dengan sampel 87 karyawan di departemen Engineering unit 1, 2, dan 3. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa tingkat motivasi kerja karyawan berada pada kategori tinggi dengan skor 81,3, sedangkan tingkat kepuasan kerja berada pada kategori tinggi dengan skor 90. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa motivasi dan kepuasan kerja yang tinggi saling berpengaruh positif dalam meningkatkan kinerja karyawan. Perusahaan diharapkan dapat terus memperkuat faktor penghargaan dan pengembangan diri agar motivasi dan kepuasan karyawan tetap terjaga.

Abstract

Perkembangan desain produk dan media edukasi di Indonesia menuntut adanya integrasi antara aspek keberlanjutan lingkungan, pelestarian budaya, dan keselamatan kerja. Studi literatur ini meninjau berbagai penelitian yang mengangkat konsep Design for Longevity, inovasi produk termasuk fashion Muslim, media edukatif berbasis budaya, serta kajian ergonomi. Metode yang digunakan adalah tinjauan sistematis terhadap literatur konseptual dan empiris dengan fokus pada pendekatan desain yang humanis, berkelanjutan, berakar pada budaya lokal, dan menjamin keselamatan pengguna. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya benang merah di antara berbagai studi, yaitu: (1) pengembangan produk berumur panjang dengan meningkatkan keterikatan emosional pengguna; (2) pemanfaatan desain sebagai sarana edukasi dan pelestarian budaya lokal; serta (3) penerapan prinsip ergonomi untuk meningkatkan keamanan dan kenyamanan dalam proses produksi maupun penggunaan produk. Studi ini mengusulkan kerangka integratif yang memadukan tiga tema utama — Design for Longevity, Design for Culture, dan Design for Safety — sebagai arah pengembangan baru bagi penelitian desain di Indonesia. Implikasi teoritis dan praktis bagi pendidikan desain serta agenda riset lanjutan turut dibahas dalam kajian ini.

Abstract

Kualitas merupakan elemen penting dalam sektor beton pracetak, terutama untuk produk spun pile yang berfungsi sebagai bagian fundamental dalam berbagai proyek infrastruktur. Meski demikian, masih banyak ditemukan berbagai jenis kerusakan seperti retakan, kekosongan, ketidakrataan visual, dan pola sarang lebah yang menyusutkan kualitas produk serta menurunkan efisiensi produksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan faktor utama yang menyebabkan kerusakan pada produk spun pile dan merumuskan cara perbaikan proses produksi yang efisien dan berkelanjutan dengan menerapkan metode Six Sigma melalui siklus DMAIC . Pendekatan penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif kuantitatif, dengan metode pengumpulan data meliputi observasi langsung, wawancara, dan pengumpulan dokumen di departemen Quality Control PT X Industri Beton Surabaya selama bulan Agustus 2025. Proses analisis data dilakukan dengan menghitung Defect Per Million Opportunities (DPMO), menentukan level sigma, serta mengidentifikasi penyebab utama kerusakan menggunakan diagram fishbone dan Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). Penerapan metode DMAIC terbukti berhasil dalam menurunkan tingkat kerusakan produk, menstabilkan kualitas antar batch produksi, serta memperkuat keandalan spun pile sebagai elemen struktural yang penting dalam pembangunan infrastruktur. Penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi acuan dalam memperkuat sistem pengendalian kualitas di industri beton pracetak di tingkat nasional.

Abstract

Industri fashion mengalami transformasi fundamental dengan integrasi kecerdasan buatan (AI) dalam berbagai aspek, mulai dari desain, produksi, hingga pemasaran. AI telah merevolusi cara industri ini beroperasi dengan memungkinkan personalisasi tren, prediksi permintaan pasar, serta optimalisasi rantai pasok secara lebih efisien dan akurat. Teknologi berbasis machine learning, computer vision, dan natural language processing berperan dalam menganalisis data konsumen, mengembangkan desain otomatis, serta meningkatkan pengalaman pelanggan melalui sistem rekomendasi berbasis AI. Selain itu, AI berkontribusi dalam pengurangan limbah produksi melalui optimalisasi penggunaan bahan baku dan prediksi tren mode yang lebih presisi, sehingga meningkatkan aspek keberlanjutan industri fashion. Penelitian ini meninjau penerapan AI dalam industri fashion dengan fokus pada berbagai teknologi inovatif yang digunakan dalam pengembangan desain fashion, e-commerce, serta manajemen rantai pasok. Studi ini juga mengidentifikasi tantangan utama dalam implementasi AI, termasuk biaya investasi tinggi, ketergantungan pada data berkualitas, serta isu etika terkait bias algoritma dan dampak terhadap tenaga kerja manusia. Meskipun menghadapi tantangan tersebut, penerapan AI menawarkan peluang besar untuk meningkatkan efisiensi operasional, mempercepat inovasi desain, dan memperkuat daya saing industri fashion di tingkat global. Dengan berkembangnya teknologi AI, industri fashion diharapkan dapat lebih adaptif, inovatif, dan berkelanjutan dalam menghadapi dinamika pasar global. Hasil penelitian ini dapat memberikan wawasan bagi akademisi dan praktisi industri fashion dalam memahami potensi serta implikasi jangka panjang dari adopsi AI, sekaligus mendorong penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai integrasi teknologi ini dalam berbagai aspek industri fashion.

Abstract

The development of the manufacturing industry demands continuous innovation in machine technology, particularly the 3 Axis CNC Router, which plays a crucial role in various applications such as cutting, milling, and material shaping.This research aims to design and develop a more efficient and precise 3 Axis CNC Router machine with a user needs-based approach in Indonesia.This machine is optimized using Quality Function Deployment (QFD) to identify consumer needs through questionnaire data, as well as Design for Manufacture (DFM) to ensure a design that is easy to produce and cost-efficient.The results of the QFD and DFM analysis are used to develop the machine with superior features, such as improved cutting precision, reduced noise, and enhanced resistance to corrosion and material dust accumulation. The developed machine is capable of improving cutting accuracy to ±0.05 mm and processing speed by 20% faster compared to the previous machine.Additionally, the noise reduction also reaches more than 15 dB, enhancing operator comfort during use.This research also identifies the main customer needs, such as machine safety, speed, and machine strength, as well as secondary needs, such as aesthetics and dirt prevention.These findings not only provide technical solutions to the existing issues with CNC machines but also suggest a direction for developing machines that are more responsive to the needs of small and medium-sized enterprises in Indonesia, as well as more efficient in material and cost usage.

Abstract

Indonesia is rich in cultural heritage, and introducing local culture is essential for shaping a child's identity, particularly among the younger generation. However, there is a lack of engaging educational media to introduce Indonesian cultural heritage to young students. Existing materials often fail to support the development of cognitive and motor skills, and they frequently do not utilize safe and sustainable materials. Therefore, innovation is needed to instill traditional values in future generations. The research aims to design a wooden puzzle that allows children to learn through play while gaining a deeper understanding of Indonesia's cultural heritage. The research employs research and development methods, including literature reviews and in-depth interviews. Experts validated the puzzle through interviews and questionnaires with teachers to ensure it was suitable for children. The puzzles were designed in a cheerful and simple cartoon style, focusing on traditional clothing and houses. Teachers rated the puzzle's validity at 99.28%, indicating that it meets educational standards and helps students understand cultural diversity. Students gave a validation score of 97.75% based on the questionnaire criteria. The research emphasizes the effectiveness of wooden cube puzzles as an interactive learning tool that offers advantages over other similar products for introducing Nusantara's traditional clothing and houses to elementary students. The findings suggest that this puzzle can enhance student engagement and cultural awareness. Its effectiveness can be further improved through digital integration for a greater educational impact. Overall, the research concludes that using wooden cultural puzzles can effectively enhance children's cognitive skills while fostering cultural awareness and national identity.

Abstract

The use of small-scale solar energy is one of the strategic solutions for electricity needs in remote areas and outdoor activities. As the need for portable electrification increases, the development of solar backpack systems is becoming a practical and sustainable alternative. This research aims to design and test a portable backpack system based on a thin film solar panel with a capacity of 20 Wp, equipped with a 12V solar charge controller and a 7.2 Ah battery. The system is designed with two outputs, namely 12V DC and 5V USB, to support lightweight devices such as LED lights and smartphones. The test was carried out at two different locations, namely Mount Lorokan and Mount Penanggungan, with data taken which included latitude, longitude, solar elevation angle, PV voltage, PV current, and output power. The measurement results show that there is a variation in the performance of solar panels according to geographical conditions and solar elevation angles. On Mount Lorokan, the peak power reaches 8.55 W at an angle of 75°, while on Mount Penanggungan the maximum power is slightly higher, which is 8.6 W at an angle of 78°. Mount Lorokan excels at maximum power, Penanggungan shows more stable performance at low to medium angles. This research contributes to the development of a portable electrification system based on renewable energy that supports power continuity in locations without access to electricity.

Abstract

This qualitative research investigates the mechanisms of economic resilience in the post-COVID-19 era through a study of women-led small and medium-sized enterprises in the handicraft sector of Tasikmalaya. Data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews with 20 female entrepreneurs and field observations. To complement the qualitative analysis, basic quantitative descriptive statistics were derived from structured interview responses. The findings demonstrate that these enterprises have successfully navigated unexpected challenges by adopting smart adaptation strategies. The descriptive data reveal that social networks and digital platforms were utilized for sales by 80% of respondents, while 55% actively participated in local collaboration networks. Regarding coping strategies, cost optimization was adopted by 90% of the enterprises, while 70% diversified their products. However, only 35% of the enterprises have returned to pre-crisis income levels, while 45% remain on the path to sustainable recovery. The product mix has shifted from 75% purely traditional products to 60%, while the share of applied and customized products has increased correspondingly. This research demonstrates how resilience in these enterprises emerges from social capital, collective wisdom, and innovation in practice rather than from institutional support. The study highlights the importance of formulating targeted support policies aligned with the unique characteristics of these firms. Recommendations include strengthening local cooperation networks, providing access to financial resources, and developing training programs responsive to entrepreneurs' needs.

Abstract

The effectiveness of the eco-campus program remains suboptimal due to weak integration among environmental, behavioral, and ergonomic aspects of campus users. This research aims to design strategies to enhance the effectiveness of the eco-campus program at Universitas PGRI Adi Buana Surabaya through a green ergonomics approach. Data were collected through observation, questionnaire distribution, and interviews involving all members of the academic community. The data were identified using a Fishbone Diagram and analyzed using the SWOT method to determine internal and external factors, followed by the formulation of improvement strategies using the QSPM method.The results of the study produced four strategies, namely S1, S2, S3, and S4. The prioritized strategy is S1—an Integrated Green Ergonomics Model—with the highest total score of 3.60. Therefore, it is necessary to increase the total attractiveness scores of the following factors: dependence on expensive technology (T3), lack of national Green Ergonomics standards (T4), changes in internal leadership policies (T2), resistance to organizational cultural change (T1), low awareness of the academic community regarding Green Ergonomics (W2), limited budget and management priorities (W4), support for sustainable research grants (O3), and the lack of cross-unit integration in eco-campus implementation (W1).
