Abstract

This study aims to identify and explain tax literacy and leadership agility at the awareness of indigenous peoples in paying taxes. Based on the report, land and building taxes' income is still low for the indigenous peoples of "towani tolotang" South Sulawesi. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with the Nvivo-12 plus program's help by taking a sample of 55 respondents of the traditional leader "uwwa" who spread to the community. Data collection techniques through in-depth interviews and documentation. The results showed that the level of tax literacy has a significant effect on the level of awareness of paying taxes. Its influence is strengthened by applying leadership agility in the form of sensitivity, leadership unity, and resource fluidity. The implication is that with a high level of tax literacy involving leadership agility, the level of awareness of paying taxes will also be higher. The importance of this research is to increase public awareness of paying taxes, although the limitations of this research are on indigenous peoples.

Abstract

This research aims at finding out the role of one of the MBKM programs, namely Student Exchange in the development of competencies / skills of graduates of Muhammadiyah Sidenreng Rappang University. The MBKM program was born so that universities no longer put together, equalize and integrate between the fields of education and job training and work experience, but more broadly towards real experiences for students. This real experience will certainly enhance the competence / skills of students so that they will become graduates who earn a decent income according to the first point of Main Performance Indicators. This research is carried out in 2021 using quantitative methods. The subjects of this study were all students (population survey). Data is collected through the SPADA Dikti Survey and analyzed with frequency tabulation. Research results as many as 60% of students choose the Student Exchange program, as many as 60% of students stated that there was an increase in soft skills well after participating in MBKM activities, as many as 74% of students stated MBKM activities for universities according to the needs of graduates in the future, 91% of students expressed interest in the MBKM program.

Abstract

The consistency of regional government budget (APBD) is actually reflectied from adjustment planning and budgetting program, which is really determined by formulating process of regional government planning (RKPD) every year. Formulating process is bureaucracy responsibility, so most of behaviors of bureaucracy are dominated. This research aimed at: (1) describing behaviors of bureaucracy types in formulating process regional government planning Sidenreng Rappang Regency, and (2) explain the formulating process of regional government planning principles with behaviors of bureaucracy types in Sidenreng Rappang Regency. This research was a descriptive-qualitative research, that is describing behaviors of bureaucracy types in formulating process regional government planning. In the collection of data, the writer acted as the research instrument. The collected data included behaviors of bureaucracy types, external environment models interaction with behaviors of bureaucracy types, and good governance principles implementation. There were two sources of data, document and informants. The data were collected through documentation, interviews, and observation. The data were analyzed further by using descriptive-qualitative analysis. The results of the research showed that between behaviors of bureaucracy types consists of: career staf type, politics type, professional type, and missioner type, which dominated by the career staf type in formulating process regional government planning Sidenreng Rappang Regency. Whereas, the formulating process regional government planning principles with behaviors of bureaucracy types determined by phase adjustment of planning process with learning to old public administration, new public management, new public service, and decision making anatomies.

Abstract

It has been almost a year since we experienced the Covi-19 pandemic, which made us carry out learning activities from home. In filling that period, the researchers intends to conduct research that can add references to the learning process in this challenging time. The purpose of this research is to know students’ perception on the use of E- learning Media in Covid-19 pandemic era; the lecturers’ favorite e-learning media in Covid- 19 pandemic era; the students’ favorite e-learning media in Covid- 19 pandemic era and the factors affects the use of E- learning in the classroom. This study was a descriptive and use a mixed method consisted of quantitative and qualitative data. The sample of this study (n= 20) is the sixth semester undergraduate students from English Education Department of 2019/2020 academic year, Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidenreng Rappang, Indonesia. The results of this study showed that there are many E- learning media that the lecturers used in delivering the materials. The use of that media in learning process is less interested to the students. It was proved by the results of students’ perception. These scores are categorized as disagree or negative scores of perceptions if they are confirmed by using a Likert Scale. There are no students who strongly agree with the current e-learning process, there are only 3 students who agree, 11 students say they are moderate (55%), 5 students disagree and 1 student strongly disagree. However, the use of e-learning media in the current learning process is an absolute necessity. Favorite learning media that are often used by lecturers in teaching, such as Zoom, WhatsApp and LMS, while students prefer to be taught with WhatsApp, Zoom, Google Classroom, LMS, and Quizziz.

Abstract

Applying transparency, participatory, and accountability in the proccess of supplying products and services is needed to make a good governance. Local government of Sidenreng Rappang has committed to apply those principles thoughout government's policy, and so this is actually an important research subject. This research type is a descriptive-qualitative using several methods to collect data, to mention documentating, questioning or interview, and a role of informant (source). Then those data will be analyzed using descriptive-qualitative analysis. The result shows us that the need of transparency, participatory, and accountability principles has been optimally applied. And it has been proven by a deputy observer of society who has helped apply those three principles. The main role lies in the human resources and the enforcement of sanctions within government's regulations or procedures.

Abstract

COVID-19 pandemic era has changed human life in the world. In education side, the learning process is forced to be carried out through full online (E-learning) since this pandemic era. There are many studies conducted on students’ perceptions of using E-learning to learn the English language while this challenges era. So, the researchers also want to conduct a study about it. The objective of this study was to investigate the students’ perceptions on the use of E-learning while COVID-19 pandemic era. Data were collected using a questionnaire that collected background information of participants and a five-point Likert scale to gauge the students’ perception use of the E-learning in EFL classroom while pandemic COVID-19 era. Findings from this research indicate that the most of students showed a negative perception toward to use E-learning in the EFL process. It was proved by the results of students’ perception. There is only 1 student who strongly agrees with the current e-learning process or said that the E-learning in pandemic COVID-19 era is effective, there are 10 students who said the E-learning is less effective, 1 students say they are moderate (4%), 12 students said E-learning is not effective and 3 student said E-learning is very not effective. There are many factors influenced the students’ perception on the use of E-learning media in COVID-19 pandemic era such as, the signal and network connection; limit of quota and expensive; lack of lecturers methods; lack of students’ motivation; limitation of time; and lack of interaction.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out Innovative Governance in Bulo Wattang Village in realizing the principles of Good Governance and sources of innovation organized by the Government in Bulo Wattang Village, Panca Rijang District, Sidenreng Rappang Regency. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data analysis using the Nvivo 12 Plus For Windows application. The results of this study indicate that government governance in the realization of the principles of good governance has not been maximized. The village government does not have a strategic vision and weak enforcement of the rule of law, while the unaccountable BPD has an impact on the low community participation due to weak law enforcement and the lack of The response from the community has resulted in the ineffective and inefficient implementation of the program run by the village government. The village government has not been able to combine the three main elements, namely the government, the village consultative body, and the community in the same commitment. Innovations organized by the village government are limited to instructive innovations and adaptive innovations without independent innovation.

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out how much influence human resource management has on employee performance at the Maiwa District Office, Enrekang Regency which was carried out through distributing questionnaires to 22 Maiwa District Office employees and 30 Maiwa District residents where based on the results of data processing carried out the results of the R2 determination test were obtained. where the R value is 0.414, which means that human resource management has a sufficient influence on improving the performance of the Maiwa District Office, Enrekang Regency employees by 41% and based on the results of hypothesis testing using F-test analysis on the basis of decision making the value Fcount > Ftable and the results obtained are 10.333 > 4.03 with a significant level of 0.005 and the result is 0.002 which means that the influence between human resource management on improving the performance of the Maiwa District Office, Enrekang Regency is acceptable and has a positive and significant effect. significant coup.

Abstract

This study is a quasi-experimental study that aims to determine the existence of positive effects of active learning type quiz team of student learning outcomes with "The Only posttest Control Design". The population in this study were all students in class XI IPA. The samples was obtained by randomly. Class XI IPA 2 as a control class and class XI IPA 3 as a experiment class. The study consist of two variables, are the Active Learning Type Quiz Team as independent variables and learning outcomes as the dependent variable. The data obtained through test of learn result to the subject matter of colloidal systems were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. Descriptive analysis results showed the average value of the control class is 68 with a deviation standard of 12.44 while in the experimental class the average was 76.08 with a deviation standard is 11.12 with the thoroughness of 79.16% for the control class and 92% for experiments class. The results of hypothesis testing using t-test , ​​obtained tcomputation = 2.41 and ttable= 2.019 at significance level α = 0.05 with df = k-3, where tcomputation > ttable which means H0 rejected and H1 accepted. This showed that there are positive effect of active learning types quiz team of student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to find out the benefits of presentation activities in online speaking classes. Data were collected using a questionnaire that collected a five-point Likert scale to gauge the students’ perception use of presentation activities in online speaking classes. The population of this research was eleventh-grade students of senior high school 4 Sidrap academic year 2021//2022 through random sampling technique and XI IPA 1 was selected as the sample of this research. The research finding showed that the utilization of presentation activities gave some benefits to the students as follows: easy understanding of the material; increased students’ motivation; focus deeper on learning; and Increased collaboration. It could be concluded that the utilization of presentation activities in online speaking class benefited the students in the eleventh grade of SMAN 4 Sidrap.
