Abstract

Women's long journey as cancer survivors makes them need husband's support. However, it was found that the wife felt the support received was less effective and the husband did not fulfill his wishes, even though the husband considered the support provided to be adapted to his wife's needs. So there is a difference in understanding related to the support given by the husband with the support received by the wife. This study aims to determine the definition of husband's support for his wife as a cancer survivor from the husband's perspective. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The samples obtained were 7 people. Data collection techniques using interviews and field notes. The data analysis used is the Miles and Huberman model. The results of the study found 3 themes, namely the definition of husband's support, the reason for the husband to provide support and the form of support. 6 participants know the definition of husband's support and the rest do not know. There is one reason the husband provides support. The form of support provided by the husband is instrumental, informative, emotional, appreciation, monitoring, prioritizing and trusting the wife. Each husband has a different perspective both in defining support, reasons for giving support and efforts to support his wife. Nurses and wives are expected to understand each other's perspectives because the differences that occur cannot be generalized.

Abstract

Background: Hypertension is still a big challenge for health development in Indonesia because of the high prevalence rate of hypertension. Hypertension is usually not recognized by the public because the symptoms are unclear and resemble health complaints in general. Although not treatable, prevention and management can reduce the incidence of hypertension and the diseases that accompany it. Basic Health Research in 2018 showed that people with hypertension reached 34.1% of the total population of Indonesia. This literature review aims to analyze the factors that influence the incidence of hypertension. Method: This study uses a descriptive analysis method with a literature review approach. Sources of data use secondary data, namely in the form of books, scientific literature as well as from the results of research conducted by previous researchers related to the discussion of factors that influence the incidence of hypertension. The method of searching for articles or journals uses the keywords "Risk factors for hypertension" or "factors that influence hypertension". The inclusion criteria used were journal factors related to the incidence of hypertension which could be accessed in full text. The journal year used is limited to 2012-2020. Results: Literature analysis in 12 journals found that age, gender, obesity, heredity, stress, physical activity and lifestyle factors can influence the incidence of hypertension. Conclusion: There is a relationship between age, gender, obesity, heredity, stress factors, physical activity factors and lifestyle factors with the incidence of hypertension.

Abstract

Epidural Hematoma (EDH) is an extra-axial bleeding condition with clinical symptoms that commonly occur after head trauma. The typical symptom in cases of EPD is progressive loss of consciousness. The treatment of choice for EDH cases is to perform a decompressive laminectomy and evaluation of the hematoma using a craniotomy. Craniotomy action makes neurological changes characterized by seizures and changes in breathing patterns. The author's aim is to provide nursing care for post-craniotomy epidural hematoma patients who experience ineffective breathing patterns. The author uses a case study method through a nursing care approach. Action refers to providing airway management. Implementation was carried out for 3 days of treatment. Problems with ineffective breathing patterns related to neurological disorders, head injuries are partially resolved, so longer treatment is needed and collaboration with family and other medical teams is needed

Abstract

Sectio Caesaria (SC) is one of the most common procedures performed today to assist the birth of the fetus by making an incision in the uterine wall and abdomen. As a surgical procedure, the implementation of SC requires anesthesia where the anesthetic technique that is often used is spinal anesthesia. Unexpected complications from spinal anesthesia are possible, changes in blood pressure are one of the complications that often occur in the administration of spinal anesthesia. This study aims to determine the effect of leg elevation on blood pressure after spinal anesthesia in SC patients. This research method employs a nonequivalent control group design model and a quasi-experimental desig. The sampling technique used the purposive sampling technique as many as 58 respondents with 29 respondents in each group, the control group and the intervention group. Data were taken by measuring blood pressure before and after spinal anesthesia. Based on the results of the independent t-test, it can be seen that post spinal anesthesia systolic BP at 10 minutes Sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 <0.05 and post spinal anesthesia diastolic BP at 10 minutes Sig value. (2-tailed) 0.000 <0.05 which means Ha is accepted. Thus, it can be said that there is an effect of leg elevation on blood pressure after spinal anesthesia in sectio caesaria patients. Leg elevation influences blood pressure after spinal anesthesia in cesarean section patients.

Abstract

Nursing documentation is the primary source of clinical information for meeting legal and professional requirements. The problem that still often arises in the implementation of documentation is that it is not in accordance with the Standardized Nursing Language (SNL) standard of nursing language, especially uniformity in using the language of nursing diagnoses and interventions. The community service program aims to increase nurses' knowledge about how to formulate nursing diagnoses using the SDKI, how to formulate outcome criteria using the SLKI and how to formulate nursing activities based on the SIKI. The method of service implementation is screening nurses' knowledge about nursing documentation using 3S, counseling and discussions about nursing documentation using 3S and its application. The target of the activity is 35 nurses. Most of the service participants are 20-30 years old (54%), female (69%), have D3 Nursing education (91%) and have worked for more than 3 years (54%). Regarding knowledge about nursing documentation using 3S, before health education the level of knowledge was mostly in the poor category (68%) and after health education the level of knowledge was in the good category (60%). .
