Abstract

This study aims to determine the Islamic Boarding School Educational Institution (Islamic Community Network and Growth). Given the role of Islamic boarding schools is very large in the world of education, especially in Islamic education. To produce the next generation who are intelligent and have noble morals, comprehensive education is needed. This study is the result of a study or literature review sourced from Library literature or Library materials, both in the form of books and in the form of articles published through printed and online scientific journals. The focus of the study in this article is on Islamic Boarding School Educational Institutions that are relevant to Islamic religious education learning. The data obtained are reviewed/analyzed and then presented descriptively in the form of an article. The results of the study show that Islamic Boarding School Educational Institutions have developed and are found in several areas visited by Islam and some have come late with this being considered successful in establishing and developing Islamic boarding schools in the true sense is Raden Rahmat (Sunan Ampel). He founded an Islamic boarding school in Kembang Kuning which then moved to Ampel Denta (Surabaya). The conclusion is that Islamic Boarding Schools are one of the oldest educational institutions in Indonesia. As the oldest institution, Islamic boarding schools have contributed to coloring the journey of the history of this nation. This contribution is not only related to the educational aspect alone, but also related to other fields on a wider scale.

Abstract

Efforts to renew Islamic education range from Islamic boarding schools, madrasas to elite Islamic schools. All of these have different backgrounds and of course this renewal is carried out so that Islamic educational institutions are known as quality institutions and play an optimal role in accordance with the expectations of society, this renewal effort is also so that the role of Islamic educational institutions can change from initially only processing in the interests of the afterlife, to being able to touch the field of worldly knowledge and can already place various fields of science and technology in the appropriate place. This study is a literature review with a qualitative descriptive method. The results of the study show that the factors that led to the emergence of the Revival in the field of Islamic education include the socio-religious situation of Egyptian society at that time which was full of taqlid, heresy and superstition as well as static thinking. Like Al-Afghani, Abduh saw that one of the causes of the backwardness of Muslims which was very concerning was the loss of intellectual tradition which in essence was freedom of thought. Three patterns of thought on Islamic educational renewal, the three patterns are the pattern of Islamic educational renewal that is oriented towards modern educational patterns in the West, which is oriented towards the renewal of Islamic education based on pure Islamic sources, and the pattern of educational renewal efforts that are oriented towards nationalism.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang kegiatan keagamaan sebagai pilar perbaikan perilaku narapidana di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Wanita Kelas IIA Sungguminasa Gowa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk: 1) mengetahui kegiatan keagamaan di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Wanita Kelas IIA Sungguminasa Gowa; 2) mengetahui faktor pendukung dan penghambat kegiatan keagamaan serta bagaimana hasil kegiatan keagamaan terhadap perilaku narapidana, wawasan pengetahuannya tentang ilmu agama dan perilaku kesehariannya baik sikapnya kepada sesama manusia dan ibadahnya selama di Lapas. Jenis penelitian ini tergolong kualitatif dengan pendekatan penelitian adalah pendekatan ilmiah dan pendekatan studi keilmuan. Pendekatan ilmiah meliputi pendekatan sosiologis dan pendekatan studi keilmuan meliputi interdisipliner, yaitu pendekatan pedagogis dan pendekatan psikologis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan kegiatan keagamaan sebagai pilar perbaikan perilaku narapidana di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Wanita Kelas IIA Sungguminasa Gowa, berjalan dengan cukup baik dengan tenaga pembimbing uztadz dan uztadzah dari luar Lapas, yang memang dari latar belakang pendidikan Agama dari mulai jenjang S1 sampai S3. Ditunjang dengan fasilitas kegiatan keagamaan yang ada di Lapas, seperti Pesantren, Masjid dan perpustakaan, namun penulis melihat kegiatan keagamaan belum sepenuhnya berjalan dengan sangat baik karena penulis melihat ada beberapa faktor yang bisa menjadi faktor penghambat kegiatan keagamaan, misalnya masih ada beberapa narapidana yang  tidak pernah dibesuk oleh pihak keluargnya sehingga narapidana tersebut tidak mempunyai biaya untuk membeli perlengkapan dalam melaksanakan kegiatan keagamaan, seperti mukena atau alat tulis untuk belajar. Masih minimnya suntikan dana kegiatan keagamaan dari pemerintah pusat, sehingga pihak Lapas selama ini masih banyak mengandalkan sumbangan sumbangan dari pihak dermawan yang menyumbang beberapa perlengkapan kepada para narapidana untuk beribadah, seperti Al-Qur’an, mukena.

Abstract

Tulisan akan mengelaborasi tentang hakikat materi akidah perspektif Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam kurikulum Sekolah Dasar kelas V. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kepustakaan (library research) yang bersifat library murni. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam kategori qualitative research dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif analitis. Sumber data primer dalam penelitian ini adalah materi kurikulum Pendidikan Agama Islam, baik berupa tulisan (buku) maupun berupa lainnya (manuskrip, jurnal, makalah dan website) baik yang dikutip secara langsung maupun tidak langsung. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan pedagogis dan psikologis. Data yang telah terkumpul diolah dengan memilah-milah ke dalam suatu konsep tertentu atau kategori dan atau tema tertentu. Kemudian hasil reduksi data di organisir ke dalam suatu bentuk tertentu, diklasifikasi, dirumuskan, dianalisis semuat data yang terkumpul, sehingga terbentuk rumusan konseptual secara utuh dan komprehensif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara historis, agama Nasrani (Kristen) dan Islam memiliki akar kenabian yang sama, yakni bersumber pada nabi Ibra>him. Kedua agama ini disebut sebagai agama Ibrahim. Secara konseptual agama Kristen dan Islam memiliki beberapa perbedaan, namun secara teologis kedua agama ini memiliki ciri khas yang sama yakni agama monotheis dan inti ajarannya mengajarkan kebaikan untuk meraih keselamatan dalam pengertian yang luas. Akidah adalah ajaran agama tentang keyakinan atau kepercayaan kepada Tuhan. Semua agama samawi mengajarkan tentang akidah sebagai dasar dan prinsip ketauhidan, sehingga sejak dini materi akidah diajarkan kepada peserta didik.

Abstract

This paper will elaborate deeply on the reality of learning and capacity-based fulfillment at Darul Ma'arif Islamic Boarding School in Jayapura City. Qualitative descriptive research type, conducted on primary and secondary data sources with a phenomenological approach from a methodological perspective, educational sociology and educational psychology from a scientific perspective using interview guidelines, observation sheets, and documentation tools as instruments to collect data that are processed and analyzed using reduction techniques. data, data presentation, and data conclusions, and validity is tested by triangulation techniques and observation extension. The results showed that learning is carried out classically using formal standard methods, in addition to takhassus learning that studies classical Islamic books that bring results to the ability to memorize the Koran, mastering Arabic and English, and mastery of reading books in limited quantities. The fulfillment of capacity at the Darul Ma'arif Islamic Boarding School in Jayapura City is illustrated, that the aspects of the kiai were not found in the three boarding schools, students from simple family backgrounds, education facilities and infrastructure built from natural materials with semi-permanent capacity. limited, and the same curriculum refers to the Ministry of Religion.

Abstract

This article examines the various factors supporting and inhibiting the implementation of character education in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Mamuju. The background of this research is the importance of character education to shape students' character as a solution to moral damage and the threat of national disintegration. This research is descriptive qualitative, with a phenomenological approach. The data sources of this research are primary and secondary data. Primary data was taken from the stakeholders of MAN 1 Mamuju through interviews. Meanwhile, secondary data were taken from documents and literature related to this research. The main instrument is the researcher himself as the key instrument, while the interview guide, observation and documents are complementary instruments. The analysis used is data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results obtained in this research are strategic supporting factors, namely planning, control and evaluation, and operational ones, namely the availability of professional educator resources. In contrast, the inhibiting factors are student discipline and limited facilities owned.

Abstract

The history of Islamic education in Java not only reflects changes in religious teaching approaches and methods, but also is a mirror of broader changes in Javanese society. Islam first entered Java in the 14th century, precisely in 1399 AD. Islam was introduced by Maulana Malik Ibrahim, an Arab who once lived in Gujarat, India with his nephew named Mahdum Ishaq. He and his nephew were in Gresik, East Java to start spreading Islamic education. Walisongo is reviewed from the personality classified as a lover of Allah when viewed in terms of the strategy of his duties and functions in the Demak kingdom he is the ruler of the government, that's why he obtained the title Walisongo was given the title of "Sunan" which has the meaning of "respected" because in spreading Islam the guardians always provide solutions to the problems that exist in people's lives through friendly practice and teaching. The Guardians have their respective karomah and uniqueness in the view of the community. Walisongo who has a very broad knowledge and understanding of religion so that the spread of religion in Java is very easy. In addition, the combination or synergy between ulama and Umara makes the spread of Islam in Java wider even outside Java, namely the eastern part of Indonesia and Kalimantan whose influence is wider until now.
