Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: (1) tema mayor dan tema minor yang terdapat dalam novel “Kidung Rindu di Tapal Batas“ karya Aguk Irawan MN; (2) nilai pendidikan yang terdapat dalam novel “Kidung Rindu di Tapal Batas “karya Aguk Irawan MN. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif karena data penelitian dideskriptifkan melihat kenyataan sesungguhnya yaitu dalam bentuk tulisan dan diperoleh pembahasan secara objektif dan mendalam mengenai analisis tema dan nilai pendidikan pada novel “Kidung Rindu di Tapal Batas” Karya Aguk Irawan MN. Hasil Analisis Tema dan Nilai Pendidikan Pada Novel “Kidung Rindu di Tapal Batas” Karya Aguk Irawan MN (1) dua jenis tema (tema mayor dan tema minor) (2) empat nilai pendidikan (nilai religius, nilai moral, nilai sosial, nilai budaya).

Pengaruh Model Example non Example dalam Pembelajaran Keterampilan Menulis Teks Deskripsi Siswa Kelas VII UPT SMP Negeri 1 Air Putih Kabupaten Batu Bara Lidya Natalia Sibarani; Jumaria Sirait; Martua Reynhat Sitanggang Gusar

This study aims to determine the effect of the example non example model in learning descriptive text writing skills for class VII students of UPT SMP Negeri 1 Air Putih, Batu Bara Regency. In this study using a quantitative method with the type of Pre-Experimental Design using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sampling used in this research is purposive sampling technique. The data collection technique used is a descriptive text writing test. The results of the research on writing descriptive text before using the example non example model reached an average value of 50.78 in the less category. Meanwhile, the results of the study of writing descriptive text after using the example non example model reached an average value of 72.5 in the good category. Based on the results of the pre-test and post-test, there is an effect on the results of writing descriptive text with tcount 5.19. At a significant level of 0.05 (95% confidence level) with df = 31 obtained ttable = 1.69; significant at p < 0.05. Thus H0 is rejected. With the rejection of H0 then Ha is accepted, meaning that there is a significant influence on the writing skills of the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Air Putih, Batu Bara Regency using the non-example model.

Pengaruh Model Outdoor Learning terhadap Pembelajaran Menulis Cerpen oleh Siswa Kelas IX SMP Negeri 2 Pematangsiantar Via Deboris Purba; Jumaria Sirait; Martua Reynhat Sitanggang Gusar

This study aims to determine the effect of the Outdoor Learning model on learning to write short stories by class IX students of SMP Negeri 2 Pematangsiantar. This study uses a quantitative experimental method with a pre-experimental type using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample in this study were students of class IX-10, totaling 29 students. The sampling used in this research is purposive sampling. The data collection technique used is the short story writing test technique for students' short story writing activities. The results of the research on writing short stories before using the outdoor learning model reached an average value of 58.93 in the sufficient category. Meanwhile, the results of the research on writing short stories after using the outdoor learning model reached an average value of 78.37 in the good category. Based on the results of the pretest and posttest, there are differences in the results of writing short stories with a tcount of 13.04 with a significant level of 5% = 0.05 at db = 28, a ttable of 1.701 is obtained. Thus, tcount = 13.04 < 1.701, so it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H? is accepted, meaning that there is an effect of using the outdoor learning model on the ability to write short stories for class IX students of SMP Negeri 2 Pematangsiantar.

Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Treffinger terhadap Kemampuan Menulis Teks Laporan Hasil Observasi pada Siswa Kelas VII di SMP Negeri 2 Tapian Dolok Theresia Annori Purba; Jumaria Sirait; Martua Reynhat Sitanggang Gusar

This study aims to determine: (1) the ability to write a text report on the results of observations in class VII students at SMP Negeri 2 Tapian Dolok before using the Treffinger learning model, (2) the ability to write a text report on the results of observations in class VII students at SMP Negeri 2 Tapian Dolok. after using the Treffinger model and, (3) to find out whether there is an effect using the Treffinger learning model in writing a report text on the results of observations of class VII students at SMP Negeri 2 Tapian Dolok. This research uses quantitative research using experimental methods, while the method used in this research is Pre-Experimental Design (non-design). According to Sugiyono (2019:112) that the results of Pre-Experimental research are independent variables. This happens, because there is no control variable, and the sample is not chosen at random. This study also uses the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The results of this study include: (1) The results of the initial test ability (pre-test) in the skills of writing report texts on the observations of class VII-4 students of SMP Negeri 2 Tapian Dolok before the treffinger learning model is applied, the average value is 39.66 with a total 1.190 From the results (pre-test) obtained by students that the ability to write text reports on observations has not reached the KKM target (Minimum Completeness Criteria) which is 70. (2) The results of the final test (post-test) ability in writing report text skills on class observations VII-4 SMP Negeri 2 Tapian Dolok after applying the treffinger learning model, the average score was 76.96 with a total score of 2.309. From the results (post-test) obtained by students in writing the text of the report on the observation results, they have reached the KKM target (Minimum Completeness Criteria) which is 70. (3) The analysis has been carried out and has been tested statistically that tcount is greater than ttable (9,34>1.699) then causes H0 to be rejected and Ha to be accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an effect of the treffinger learning model on the ability to write text reports on observations in class VII-4 of SMP Negeri 2 Tapian Dolok.

This study aims to determine: (1) the ability of students to write news texts before using the group discussion method in class VIII of SMP Negeri 7 Pematangsiantar, (2) the ability of students to write news texts after using the group discussion method in class VIII of SMP Negeri 7 Pematangsiantar and, ( 3) The effect of the group discussion method on the ability to write news texts by class VIII students of SMP Negeri 7 Pematangsiantar. This type of research includes pre-experimental research with one group pre-test post-tst design research (Sugiyono, 2019:74), the reason the researcher chooses Pre-experimental research is because this study aims to determine the effect of using group discussion methods in learning to write news texts by VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 7 Pematangsiantar. The results of this study are: (1) the results of the initial test ability (pre-test) in the skills of writing news texts for class VIII-6 SMP Negeri 7 students before the group discussion method is applied, the average score is 66.40. While the results of the final text ability (post-test) after the group discussion method was applied, the average value was 73.12. (2) The results of the score on the assessment aspect of writing news texts before applying the group discussion method obtained the highest score in the vocabulary assessment aspect which amounted to 760 with an average of 23.75 while the lowest assessment aspect was found in the organizational assessment aspect, which amounted to 320 with an average 10. After applying the group discussion method whose value increased, the highest assessment aspect of writing news texts was found in the content aspect, which amounted to 720 with an average of 22.5, while the lowest assessment aspect was found in the mechanical aspect, which amounted to 310 with an average of 9.68. (3) The analysis has been carried out and has been tested statistically. That th is greater than tt (6.72>1.78) causes H0 to be rejected and Ha to be accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an effect of group discussion method on news text writing skills by students of class VIII-6 SMP Negeri 7 Pematangsiantar.

This research certainly has goals to be achieved, among others: to revitalize “literacy”, as the neglected local wisdom of Batak Toba. In this study, it is limited to the revitalization of literacy in the city of Medan. Cultural revitalization is the realignment of local cultural values which may have many deviations among cultural adherents, these deviations can be viewed from the perspective of religion, social, education, economy and society, so that the existence of this culture is not one of the parties on the one hand. and benefit the other side. The most appropriate method used is descriptive qualitative. Qualitative descriptive method is a research method based on the philosophy of postpositivism which is usually used to examine natural objective conditions in which the researcher acts as a key instrument. And Research Results A form of literacy activity has been carried out in the house of one of the residents. The point is to socialize and revitalize the literacy tradition.

The achievement of children's quality of life is undoubtedly linked to the development of positive habits that will continue to be practiced in future lives. This can be done by developing awareness and behavior of a balanced clean and healthy lifestyle. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in the PHBS ability of children. Various efforts have been made so that children with intellectual disabilities can maintain their cleanliness. The efforts made by the teacher are still not maximal so that the delivery of information about PHBS must be completed by another method, namely demonstration. This research was conducted at SDLB 127710 Pematangsiantar5 with an action research method that refers to the Kurt Lewin model. Data collection techniques used purposive sampling and data analysis with the Wilcoxon test. The results showed an increase in understanding of the PHBS of children with intellectual disabilities able to learn SDLB 127710 Pematangsiantar through the demonstration method. This is evidenced by the increase in the score, where the initial assessment was obtained (59%), while in the first cycle, the average score was good (69.9%). In short, the understanding of children with intellectual disabilities being able to learn about PHBS is increased by using the demonstration method. This study aims to describe the most dominant language style and character education values used in Andri Sofyansyah’s film universe. This type of research uses a qualitative descriptive method, namely, describes the language style and character education values used. Dominant in the film universe. The data collection method in this study is the listening method, using the basic data collection technique used is the tapping technique. The results of the analysis of the characteristics of language style and the value of character education in Andri Sofyansyah’s universe film (1) find the dominant language style in Andri’s universe film Sofyansyah (2) looking for the dominant character education values in Andri Sofyansya’s universe film universe.

This study aims to describe the expressive approach to the novel "Cantik Itu Luka" by Eka Kurniawan. The analysis in this study is the novel "Cantik Itu Luka" by Eka Kurniawan. The formulation of the problem discussed in this study is how the novel "Beautiful Is a Wound" is analyzed with an expressive approach. This study used qualitative descriptive methods to collect data conducted using the recording technique method. Based on the data collection method used, the data will be analyzed by reading the novel, understanding the content of the novel carefully, looking for imagination, emotions, expressing the author's ideas and psychology, and then collecting them into one data according to their classification. . The data in this study is in the form of text in the novel that shows the author's expressiveness. The results of this study found the form of the author's expression in the novel "Cantik Itu Luka" by Eka Kurniawan, namely how the author can show his expression.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan karakteristik wujud campur kode dan alih kode pada masyarakat tutur antara pedagang dan pembeli sayur dan buah di pasar Tanah Jawa, Kecamatan Tanah Jawa, Kabupaten Simalungun dan mendeskripsikan faktor-faktor penyebab terjadinya campur kode dan alih kode tersebut. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif-kualitatif yaitu, mendeskripsikan karakteristik wujud campur kode dan wujud alih kode, serta mendeskripsikan faktor penyebab terjadinya campur kode dan alih kode pada masyarakat tutur antara pedagang dan pembeli sayur dan buah di pasar Tanah Jawa, Kecamatan Tanah Jawa, Kabupaten Simalungun. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah metode simak, dengan menggunakan teknik dasar pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik sadap. Hasil analisis karakteristik campur kode dan alih kode pada masyarakat tutur antara pedangan buah dan pembeli di pasar Tanah Jawa, Kecamatan Tanah Jawa, Kabupaten Simalungun (1) Karakteristik wujud campur kode adalah campur kode ke dalam (Inner code-mixing) yaitu antara bahasa Indonesia ke dalam bahasa Batak Toba dan Bahasa Indonesia ke dalam bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa Indonesia ke dalam bahasa Jawa (2) Faktor penyebab terjadinya campur kode (a) identifikasi peranan, (b) identifikasi ragam dan, (c) keinginan untuk menjelaskan dan menafsirkan. (3) Karakteristik wujud alih kode adalah yang bersifat intern (ke dalam) yaitu antara bahasa Indonesia ke dalam bahasa Batak Toba, dan bahasa Jawa ke dalam bahasa Indonesia. (4) Faktor penyebab terjadinya alih kode yaitu penutur dan lawan tutur.
