Abstract

Carp farming in Indonesia, especially in the Merangin Regency, has excellent potential to improve food security and farmers' welfare. This study analyzes the factors affecting carp production in floating net cages (KJA) in Tambang Baru Village, Tabir Lintas District. The research was conducted from March to April 2020, and 15 fish farmers were interviewed using the census method. The research variables included cage area, seeds, feed, and labor, with carp production as the dependent variable. Primary data were collected through interviews using a questionnaire, while secondary data were obtained from the Fisheries Service and the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). Data analysis used multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS to identify the influence of each variable. The results showed that seedlings significantly affected carp production, with a calculated T value of 103.291, higher than T table 1.81246. Meanwhile, cage size, feed, and labor did not show a significant effect on production. The R-square value reached 1,000, signifying a perfect correlation between the independent and dependent variables. This finding indicates that improving the quality of fingerlings can directly increase production, while other factors such as cage area, feed, and labor require further attention to improve the efficiency of carp production.

In the current era technology is experiencing rapid development. Global technological advances have influenced all aspects of life, including economics, health, arts, public services and education. Digital technology is an information technology that prioritizes activities carried out by computer or digital rather than using human power. With the development of digital technology, many fields have benefited from its development. With this technology, village communities should also be able to experience ease in accessing technology because nowadays villages are encouraged to progress and be independent, with the hope of being able to develop the various potentials they have for the advancement of village development, but of course in some villages it is possible not to utilize this digital technology because that community service creates programs that introduce modernizing digital technology. The methods used are discussion and practice. Increasing understanding of village officials and the community means increasing digital literacy skills and showing that the objectives of the White Elephant University 2023 Thematic real work course are quite achievable and successful.

Abstract

The availability of clean water becomes difficult during a flood disaster, one of the simple technologies that has the potential to be developed in flood-proneareas is the Gravity Fed System (GFS). The aims of the study to know the influence media thickness in GFS efektivity to reduce TSS, TDS and Total coliform. This research uses an experimental design with a laboratory test approach to see the effect of varying filter media thickness on the effectiveness of GFS. Samples were taken from the Pewana river Rogo Village in Sigi Regency. Organoleptic tests showed a significant change in color and odor parameter, from cloudy to colorless and mud smell disappears after treatment. pH (7.2-8.1) and temperature (29-32 °C) still within a quality standard. The highest effectiveness develop in sample I with a media thickness of 25 cm (TSS 96 mg/L decreased to 10 mg/L and TDS 338 mg/L to 243 mg/L), the effectiveness of 72% and 27%. GFS is effective in improving the physical quality of water where all parameters have met quality standards after treatment. The thickness of the filter media has an effect on reducing the TSS and TDS parameter, but has no effect on decreasing total coliform. Media thickness needs to be increased to improve TDS and total coliform reduction efficiency.

Abstract

This research was carried out in Kapuk Village, Tabir Ulu District, Merangin Regency from 30 January to 30 February 2020 with the aim of (1) The Large Contribution of Labor to the Food Crops Sub Sector in the New Normal Era. The Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic Outbreak (2) multiple times to determine the influence of productivity labor and wage levels in labor absorption in the food crop sub-sector The method for determining the sample was carried out purposively. The sampling technique is simple random sampling. Contribution data uses contribution analysis to determine the magnitude of the contribution of labor in the food crop sub-sector to the agricultural sector. To find out the magnitude of the contribution of labor in the food crop sub-sector to the entire sector, the data used in this research is secondary data from the village office and multiple linear regression to determine the influence labor productivity and wage levels in the employment of the food crop sub-sector and the data used is primary data..The results of this research are (1) The contribution of labor in the food crop sub-sector to the agricultural sector is 55.10% with a very good category including: the number of workers in the food crop sub-sector and the number of workers in the agricultural sector in Kapuk Village, Tabir Ulu District, Merangin Regency. (2) The contribution of labor in the food crops sub-sector to the entire sector is 53.65% with a very good category including: the number of workers in the food crops sub-sector and the number of workers in the entire sector (3) Labor Absorption (Y) is partially influenced by labor productivity X1, namely with a value of tcount 4.035< ttable 1.999. and simultaneously labor absorption is also influenced by labor productivity female labor wages (X3) have no effect on the dependent variable labor absorption (Y) because they have the same value.
