Abstract

Pembelajaran matematika perlu menerapkan media pembelajaran yang inovatif seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi yang sangat pesat agar minat dan motivasi siswa meningkat. Media pembelajaran e-learning berbasis open source akan menjadi salah satu jawaban dari permasalahan kurangnya minat dan motivasi siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika di era modern. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana mengembangkan media pembelajaran e-learning berbasis open source yang valid serta praktis guna memfasilitasi kegiatan pembelajaran peserta didik sehingga dapat meningkatkan soft skill siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan tahapan 4-D yaitu, define (pendefinisian), design (perancangan), develop (pengembangan), serta disseminate (penyebaran). Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah produk pengembangan media pembelajaran berupa e-learning berbasis open source yaitu E-Learning Mathematics Laboratory: SPLDV yang berisikan menu-menu seperti beranda, halaman login, menu dashboard, menu home dan menu my course, Serta tingkat kelayakan media pembelajaran yang berasal dari uji validasi isi, validasi konstruk, uji respon guru dan uji kepraktisan media. Validasi isi oleh ahli materi pembelajaran memperoleh tingkat validitas dengan persentase rata-rata 98,125% dengan kategori sangat valid, tingkat validasi konstruk oleh ahli media memperoleh tingkat validitas dengan persentase rata-rata 96,63% dengan kategori sangat valid, dan tingkat kepraktisan media melalui respon guru matematika memperoleh persentase sebesar 96,66% dengan kategori sangat praktis, serta keefektifan media yang diperoleh dari penilaian sepuluh siswa memperoleh persentase sebesar 98,89% dengan kategori sangat efektif. E-learning ini diharapkan mampu memfasilitasi kegiatan belajar siswa pada materi SPLDV dan membantu guru matematika pada proses kegiatan mengajar.

Abstract

The large number of industries that dispose of waste, such as disposing of factory waste into irrigation waters, makes the quality of the irrigation water decrease. If the irrigation water is polluted then it results in an increase in bacteria, of course it will affect the welfare of the community and farmers. The consequences of this need to be corrected, one of which is by giving coffee grounds. Coffee grounds contain volatile acids which can help degrade bacteria, where these volatile acids can penetrate the bacterial cell walls. The purpose of this study was to determine the inhibitory power of coffee grounds on irrigation water exposed to basreng waste in Sariwangi Village, Tasikmalaya. The samples used were 2 samples with a distance of 20 m each. The method used is using TPC (Total Plate Count) testing. The research results show that giving coffee grounds at a dose of 3.3 g was able to reduce the microbes in irrigation water affected by basreng waste by 26% or an average result for point A of 19,000 and for point B of 28,000. Based on the research, coffee grounds can inhibit or reduce coliform bacteria in irrigation water.

Abstract

The development of the education curriculum in Indonesia reflects a paradigm shift in strengthening scientific literacy, which plays an important role in shaping critical thinking patterns and student analysis to face the challenges of the 21st century. This study aims to examine the development of the concept of scientific literacy in the Indonesian national curriculum policy from the era of the School Level Curriculum (KTSP), the 2013 Curriculum, to the Merdeka Curriculum. The study was conducted through a literature study method on 20 relevant scientific articles published in the period 2013 to 2025. The results of the study show that scientific literacy in the KTSP is still implicit, limited to contextual learning approaches and direct experience. In the 2013 Curriculum, strengthening scientific literacy began to be realized through a scientific approach that encouraged students to develop critical thinking skills, understand scientific concepts, and carry out scientific processes systematically. Further transformation is seen in the Merdeka Curriculum, where scientific literacy is not only focused on cognitive aspects, but is also linked to character values ​​and contextual problem solving through strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile and project-based learning. In general, this study concludes that there is a paradigm shift from knowledge-oriented science literacy to holistic and applied science literacy. This finding emphasizes the importance of continuity between policy curriculum, teacher professional development, and implementation of strategies in the field to optimize students' achievement of science literacy.

Abstract

Watering plants is an important activity that cannot be ignored in order to maintain sufficient air intake for optimal growth. Manual watering methods, which are commonly carried out according to a schedule, are often inefficient because they require significant allocation of time and energy. Improper watering techniques are one of the risks of plant growth factor failure, where unmaintained soil moisture can cause plants to wilt and die. This study aims to develop an automatic irrigation system based on the Internet of Things (IoT) that utilizes light energy as its power source, with the aim of being able to save time, lighten human work, and at the same time optimize the use of energy resources. This system is designed to monitor soil conditions in real-time and regulate watering automatically, supported by a sustainable light energy source. The results of this study indicate that the automatic watering system based on the Internet of Things (IoT) developed and powered by light energy is able to overcome the problem of plant drought effectively, while saving time and lightening human work in watering activities.

Abstract

Generally, students stated that the concepts in physics, especially on the material of distance, speed, and acceleration, are difficult to understand. This causes low student motivation and learning outcomes. In order to increase student motivation, understanding of concepts, and learning outcomes, it is necessary to use visual media so that learning is active and enjoyable. The use of visual media, one of which is education game-based learning media, is very helpful for students in understanding physics concepts, especially on the material of distance, speed, and acceleration. The purpose of this study was to determine the study of the use of visual media based on education games that can improve students' understanding of the material of distance, speed, and acceleration. This research method uses the library research method. The form of research uses literature studies with qualitative data acquisition. To obtain data using two databases, namely Google Scholar and Sinta, with document analysis first carried out to identify relevant literature studies. Based on the results of the preliminary study conducted, it was obtained that the use of visual media based on education games is good and flexible. With the use of visual media based on education games, students find it easier to understand the material of distance, speed, and acceleration. In addition, it makes it easier for teachers to carry out learning activities. Learning is more interesting, students are more motivated so that students' understanding, abilities, and learning outcomes increase.

Abstract

Stem cells are unspecialized cells with the ability to self-renew over long periods of time without undergoing significant changes in their basic properties. The discovery of adult stem cells has revolutionized therapeutic and regenerative medicine and led to the development of new therapies for previously untreatable terminal conditions. Hematopoietic stem cell transplantation was the first example of successful stem cell therapy and has been widely used in the treatment of a variety of diseases, including leukemia, adult T-cell lymphoma, and multiple myeloma. Meanwhile, autologous mesenchymal stem cell transplantation is increasingly being used to repair mesenchymal tissues and other organs such as the lung and heart, and has shown promise in the treatment of stroke, multiple sclerosis, and diabetes. Interest in the therapeutic potential of other adult stem cells including neural, mammary, intestinal, inner ear, and testicular stem cells is also growing. The discovery of induced pluripotent stem cells has opened new insights into the epigenetic mechanisms underlying pluripotency and carcinogenesis. This study employed a qualitative approach with a literature review method, aiming to conduct an in-depth review of the scientific literature related to the development of stem cell therapy and its epigenetic implications. Through a systematic analysis of various academic sources, this study seeks to formulate a comprehensive conceptual understanding and identify future directions for safer and more targeted stem cell therapy development.

Abstract

Indonesia dengan keanekaragaman budaya dan tradisi, memiliki berbagai jenis permainan tradisional yang unik dan berpotensi memuat konsep-konsep matematika yang menarik untuk diungkap. Tujuan pada penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengeksplorasi etnomatematika dalam permainan tradisional Indonesia, yaitu permainan engklek, permainan congklak, permainan kelereng, permainan bekel dan permainan gobak sodor. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode yang digunakan adalah Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah dari 15 artikel yang diterbitkan dalam rentang waktu 2020–2025 dan telah memenuhi kriteria inklusi, yaitu membahas permainan tradisional Indonesia yang mengandung unsur matematika serta terindeks SINTA. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa permainan tradisional di Indonesia bukan hanya memiliki nilai budaya tetapi juga mampu dijadikan sebagai media pembelajaran matematika yang kontekstual dan menyenangkan. Selain itu, permainan tradisional juga memberikan dasar yang kuat untuk pengembangan strategi pembelajaran berbasis budaya yang mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan dan pemahaman siswa terhadap matematika.

Abstract

Pada saat ini terdapat banyak kajian literatur yang membahas tentang kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis yang didukung oleh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL). Dalam berbagai literatur terdapat banyak laporan yang membahas tentang pengaruh PBL terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memeriksa efek keseluruhan penggunaan PBL terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis dan efek PBL jika ditinjau berdasarkan tahun penelitian, jenjang pendidikan serta kombinasi model pembelajaran. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah meta-analisis. Penelitian ini menganalisis 20 studi primer yang telah diterbitkan antara tahun 2019 sampai dengan tahun 2025 dengan tema penerapan PBL terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis dengan jenis penelitian quasi eksperimen. Langkah-langkah analisis statistika dalam penelitian ini adalah: (a) menghitung ukuran efek setiap studi primer; (b) melakukan uji heterogenitas dan pemilihan model estimasi; (c) memeriksa bias publikasi; serta (d) menghitung nilai-p untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian ; (e) analisis karakteristik artikel; dan (f) menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ukuran efek keseluruhan sebesar 0.937 dengan kategori sedang. Analisis karakteristik studi mengungkapkan bahwa penerapan PBL lebih efektif pada penelitian terbaru, jenjang pendidikan yang lebih tinggi, dan dikombinasikan dengan penggunaan software pembelajaran matematika. Temuan ini dapat menjadi pertimbangan bagi praktisi pendidikan matematika untuk implementasi PBL di masa depan.

Abstract

The topics of morphology, anatomy, and physiology are integral to biology learning, yet they often present challenges for students due to their abstract and complex nature. Difficulties in understanding body structures and invisible biological processes lead to low student interest and engagement. This study aims to identify innovative learning approaches through an analysis of national scientific literature over the past decade. The results show that the integration of digital technology and student-centered learning methods can improve conceptual understanding and learning motivation. The most prominent innovations include the use of VR and AR-based media to clarify visualizations, the use of interactive videos and simulations to explain biological functions, and the application of contextual learning models such as Problem-Based Learning (PBL) and Project-Based Learning (PjBL). These approaches have proven effective in creating a more immersive learning experience that is relevant to students' needs.

Abstract

Work and energy are important topics in physics learning. Learning on this topic can be done using various methods and media, which provide different results depending on the approach used. This study aims to identify various learning models and media and their influence on learning about work and energy through a meta-analysis of 17 relevant research journals. The results of the study indicate that there are various learning methods that can be applied, including the 7E Learning Cycle, STEM, Problem Solving, Think-Pair-Share, Inquiry, and others. Of these various methods, the inquiry approach is the most widely used because it is relevant to the student-based curriculum that positions teachers as facilitators in developing students' thinking skills and intellectual discipline.
