Abstract

Learning media is needed in helping students understand a material. This study aims to see how the application of electronic-based learning media in terms of material validation, media validation and testing to students. The method used is development research using the ADDIE model. From the results obtained thatThe level of material validity obtained from the material validator is 4.0 with the Very Valid category and the media validity validator obtained is 5.0 with the Very Valid category. The practical stage of the application of electronic-based learning media on the theme of 6 sub-themes of heat and its transfer was obtained from the teacher's response questionnaire and student responses. The teacher's response got a score with an average of 4.8 and 4.9 respectively in the Very Practical category, student responses got a percentage of 86% in the very practical category.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the readiness of schools to implement effective online learning so that learning materials can be conveyed properly to students. This is because the success of learning effectiveness depends on the strategy carried out by the school in order to achieve a goal to be achieved. The results of this study indicate that the research conducted at SDN 200/IV Jambi City uses the synchronous online method, which means that learning is carried out in real time, namely where the learning carried out between teachers and students is both online at a predetermined time. Which online learning is inseparable from learning media, the media used is adjusted to the current state of learning, currently the media used are laptops, mobile phones, wifi and internet quota as well as applications that can accommodate online learning. Like youtube and whatsapp groups. From the results of the study it can be concluded that the school's strategy in online learning is effective. Based on the conditions of online learning at SDN 200/IV Jambi City has implemented learning well using synchronous online in accordance with the capabilities possessed in operating technology and financial capabilities. Even with a little use of the application and there are obstacles, online learning can still be carried out according to government policy standards.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of the whisper-chain method to listening skills in Indonesian language learning in elementary schools and the factors that influence it. This research is a qualitative research. This research is a literature study, namely research that examines research journals and other sources related to improving listening skills by using the whisper chain method based on the field in the journal article. The data in this study were obtained from research results on the topic of the whisper-chain method in improving listening skills in elementary schools in Indonesia which have been published in various online journals indexed by Google Scholar. The number of journals obtained is 3 research journals that have been selected according to the research topic. Based on the results of a journal review consisting of 3 journals studied in the form of classroom action research and qualitative from 2013 to 2016 it can be concluded that the application of the whisper-chain method for listening skills in Indonesian language learning, that what the teacher did was in accordance with the learning procedures but in terms of material selection is not in accordance with the material characteristics of the chain whisper method. The influencing factors are the objective factor, the students' interest and attention, the condition situation, facilities or infrastructure, the teacher which includes the teacher's educational background and teaching skills.

Abstract

In Indonesia, English is not required for the elementary school students in the current curriculum. This  qualitative case study examines the role of teachers in providing a productive learning environment through classroom activities in English classes at two elementary schools in Jambi, a province in Indonesia.. The productive learning environment is characterised by target-oriented, genuine and real-based learning, encouraging and appealing activities, dynamic and accommodating knowledge formation, autonomous, and contemplative. The data were gathered from observations in 7 classes and teacher interviews. This research revealed that there was not a single meeting that altogether covered the six features of a productive learning environment. Therefore, it is suggested that teachers should understand more about a productive learning environment to empower classroom activities to help students achieve educational goals.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the material’s content in thematic textbook curriculum 2013 class V theme 7 events in life in subtheme 1 event of the colonial mass nationality that contains indicators of character value in it. This research uses a qualitative approach. The type of research used is a content analysis using document studies. The subject in this study is the researcher himself. The objects used in this study are student books and curriculum teacher books 2013 revised edition 2017 grade V theme 7 events in life. The data obtained will be analyzed descriptively qualitatively with the content analysis method. The results of  analysis of this study showed that the character values encountered in the integrated thematic textbook curriculum 2013 class V theme 7 subtheme 1 national events of the colonial period are fond of reading, hard work, curiosity, creativit, love of the homeland, independent, honest, democratic, tolerance, responsibility, discipline, national spirit, and friendly/ communicative. The analysis of the contents of the integrated thematic book material curriculum 2013 is expected educators can be more competitive and have innovations in designing learning that is able to implement character values in every learning activity for students.

Abstract

Pengenalan kearifan lokal terhadap siswa sekolah dasar sangat penting untuk mengenalkan unsur budaya dan adat istiadat di lingkungan sekolah tersebut. Tugas pendidik sangat penting dalam melaksanakan proses pembelajaran berbasis kearifan lokal dengan merencanakan modul untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan e-modul berbasis kearifan local balumbo biduk. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui langkah-langkah penyusunan modul pembelajaran berbasis kearifan local balumbo biduk dan untuk mengetahui keefektivan modul tersebut. Hasil dari pengabdian terhadap respoden adalah sangat setuju dalam menggunakan e-modul berbasis kearifan local balumbo biduk. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode lesson Study. Selain itu, dari segi bahasa, modul pembelajaran berbasis kearifan lokal menggunakan bahasa yang baku, jelas dan langsung sehingga modul tersebut layak untuk digunakan dalam sistem pembelajaran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa melalui media permainan monopoli dalam pembelajaran tematik kelas IV A di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Rahmatullah Kota Jambi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi dengan menggunakan 2 siklus. Sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu metode observasi dan metode dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah kelas IV A di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Rahmatullah Kota Jambi yang berjumlah 28 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penerepan media permainan monopoli dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa dalam proses pembelajaran Berdasarkan hasil aktivitas belajar siswa pada saat proses pembelajaran diproleh hasil sebagai berikut : pada siklus I skor aktivitas belajar siswa 65,94% dan meningkat pada siklus II dengan skor nilai aktivitas belajar siswa menjadi 83,01% dengan demikian hasil penelitian di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Rahmatullah Kota Jambi dinyatakan berhasil.

Abstract

The existence of a digital-based assessment system will support the assessment of student character in the learning process. Character assessment using e-assessment will greatly assist teachers in overcoming paper wastage, streamlining time, overcoming large expenditures and making students more focused in filling out characters. This study aims to analyze the character of tolerance in elementary school students and to determine the feasibility of the product. This research is a development research using 4D development design. The sample of this study was 175 students. Quantitative data from this study were obtained from the validation of media experts and the results of the student tolerance character assessment, while qualitative data was obtained from interviews. The quantitative data in this study were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics, while the qualitative data used Miles & Huberman analysis. The results of the descriptive analysis of the character assessment of student tolerance are in a good category, and there are differences in the character of student tolerance in the 3 schools. The results of the validation of media experts on the development of web-based assessment are in the good category so that the product can be used to assess the character of student tolerance. The implications of this research lie in time efficiency in processing and distributing data, saving procurement costs, and ease of use in assessing student character using web-based assessment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strategi guru dalam menumbuhkan minat belajar anak hiperaktif di kelas III SD Negeri 65/III Sanggaran Agung. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 65/III Sanggaran Agung pada Maret 2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian kritis. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui kegiatan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi yang dilakukan oleh guru dalam menumbuhkan minat belajar siswa hiperaktif terdiri dari beberapa tahapan yaitu: 1) Perencanaan pembelajaran, sebelum melaksanakan pembelajaran, guru melakukan persiapan dengan menyiapkan RPP yang menarik, menyiapkan media pembelajaran dan strategi pembelajaran. 2) Pelaksanaan pembelajaran, pada tahap ini guru menggunakan beberapa strategi. Strategi yang guru gunakan dalam menumbuhkan minat belajar anak hiperaktif yaitu dalam melaksanakan kegiatan pembelajaran guru menggunakan media pembelajaran, guru mengajak siswa melakukan kegiatan ice breaking, selama kegiatan pembelajaran guru memberikan motivasi kepada siswa hiperaktif, guru memberikan reward kepada siswa hiperaktif, dan guru menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang nyaman. 3) Evaluasi, Kegiatan evaluasi dilakukan guru dengan cara menilai dari perasaan senang siswa, ketertarikan siswa, perhatian siswa dan keterlibatan siswa, dan juga dari pengerjaan tugas dan pengumpulan tugas oleh siswa hiperaktif. Guru melakukan kegiatan evaluasi pada saat akhir kegiatan pembelajaran dengan memberikan siswa soal yang berkaitan dengan materi.
