Abstract

The rapid advancement of technology in the midst of globalization has brought significant changes, especially in the field of information, especially making it easier to place orders independently. Healing cafes engaged in the culinary field are one example of a culinary business that can benefit from a self-order system. This research aims to design a QR code-based self-order system that can improve service efficiency at Healing cafes by reducing errors and improving the ordering process and making it easier for customers to order independently. This system design uses the waterfall software development method which consists of analyzing the needs of the system, system design, designing the system in the form of a program, system testing, system implementation and maintenance of the system after use. This self-order system has three main components, namely the user (customer), kitchen, and admin (cashier) whose ordering stages start when the user scans the QR code installed on the table, order data enters the kitchen system, is forwarded to the cashier system for bill printing and transaction completion. Designed without the need for a user authentication process, and supporting recurring transactions for one payment at each table are the advantages of this self-ordering system. This self-order is expected to be able to provide innovative digital solutions in managing food and beverage orders.

Abstract

Waste management in Indonesia is still characterized by a high volume of improperly managed waste and low source-level segregation, causing recyclable materials to mix with other waste streams and reducing their recovery value. This situation calls for a sorting system that is effective, fast, and affordable, while also providing real-time operational information to support on site decision-making. This study presents an integrated computer vision approach using YOLOv8 deployed on a Raspberry Pi 5 with a Camera Module 3, connected to a real-time information system via Server-Sent Events (SSE) for monitoring and analytics. The methodology includes constructing a labeled dataset in YOLO TXT format, training a YOLOv8n model, deploying edge inference, and developing a backend API to receive detection outputs and stream them to a dashboard in real time. The system is evaluated using mean Average Precision (mAP), precision–recall, frames per second (FPS), and end-to-end latency from the camera to the dashboard. The prototype achieves an mAP@0.5 of 98.5% with precision–recall above 97%, an average throughput of 8.3 FPS at 640×640 resolution, and a median SSE communication latency of 0.5–0.6 ms, demonstrating the feasibility of a cost-effective solution for automated waste sorting. The system also provides logging, operational statistics, an offline queue, and an idempotency mechanism to support reliable operation in real-world deployments.

Abstract

The development of app-based food delivery services is driving increasingly fierce competition, requiring companies to maintain customer trust and satisfaction to increase repeat orders. This study aims to reveal the influence of honesty, transparency, and service quality on repeat orders among GrabFood users in Bengkulu City. The research method used was a quantitative approach with a survey design. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to GrabFood users in Bengkulu City and then analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed an R-Square value of 0.359, indicating that 35.9% of the Repeat Order variable on GrabFood (Y) is influenced by Honesty (X1), Transparency (X2), and Service Quality (X3), while the remainder is influenced by other factors. In conclusion, honesty, transparency and service quality simultaneously have a positive and significant influence on repeat orders on GrabFood because it has a significance value of 0.000 which is smaller than 0.05, but partially only service quality is significant. It is recommended that future research examine other factors that may influence repeat orders, such as price, promotions, or customer satisfaction, which were not examined in this study.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan sistem informasi pengolahan data nilai siswa berbasis web menggunakan metode Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) di SMP Negeri 1 Kota Pematang Siantar. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah permasalahan dalam pengolahan nilai yang masih dilakukan secara manual, yang menyebabkan keterlambatan, ketidakakuratan, dan kurangnya transparansi dalam proses penilaian. Sistem yang dikembangkan dirancang untuk mengotomatisasi proses penginputan, normalisasi, pembobotan, serta perankingan nilai siswa berdasarkan beberapa kriteria, seperti tugas, ujian tengah semester, ujian akhir semester, dan kehadiran. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen dan survei. Desain eksperimen yang digunakan adalah one-group pretest-posttest design, sedangkan survei dilakukan melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada guru dan staf akademik untuk menilai efektivitas serta kepuasan pengguna terhadap sistem. Hasil uji Paired Sample T-test menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam efisiensi waktu, akurasi perhitungan, dan kepuasan pengguna setelah penerapan sistem, dengan nilai p-value < 0,05. Sistem terbukti mampu mempercepat proses pengolahan nilai dari hitungan jam menjadi menit, menghilangkan kesalahan perhitungan, dan meningkatkan transparansi hasil penilaian. Dengan demikian, penerapan metode SAW dalam sistem informasi ini terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan efisiensi, akurasi, dan objektivitas pengelolaan data nilai siswa, sekaligus mendukung digitalisasi manajemen akademik di lingkungan sekolah.
