Abstract

Self-management is a set of techniques for changing behavior, thoughts, and feelings. Self-management can control emotions and control negative emotions and express emotions in the right way without overdoing it. The purpose of this study was to determine the extent of counseling services with self-management strategies to develop the emotional stability of class X students. The approach used in this study was a qualitative approach with a descriptive type of research. This research is a case study of one student who has problems in regulating his emotional stability. The results showed that self-management strategies can improve students' emotional stability, seen from the way students manage emotions after being given counseling techniques. Students are able to rearrange the environment as an antecedent to certain responses, as well as present themselves and determine their own positive stimulus that follows the desired response. Keywords: : counselling, self management, emotional stability

Abstract

This study intends to explain how the level of body image in class XI students at SMAN 1 Margaasih. The number of samples used as many as 140 students from a total population of 355 students, or if described 87 female students and 53 male students. Among them there are 22% of students aged 17 years, 68% of students aged 16 years and 10% of students aged 15 years. This study uses a descriptive quantitative approach with a random sampling technique. The data collection instrument used was a non-test technique in the form of a questionnaire taken from Maulida (2020). In this study, it was found that the body image of class XI students of SMAN 1 Margaasih was generally in the medium category or as much as 72% (101 students), while in the high category it was 16% (23 students), and the low category was 12% (16 students). . The data obtained shows that female students have body image a lowerthan male students. This can be explained by the presence of 16 students who are categorized as low body image, 14 of whom are female students. This is because women generally have body image a lowerthan men. An example that can be seen is the feeling of inferiority to their physical possessions and often comparing themselves with others who have more physicality than them. The physical can be in the form of height, weight, attractive face, and skin color.Keywords: Body image, Students, SMAN 1 Margaasih

Abstract

Classical guidance is a guidance and counseling service that has the aim of launching service activities that develop students' potential to achieve educational goals. One of the techniques that can be used in the implementation of classical guidance services is the symbolic modeling technique. The symbolic modeling technique is a technique that is carried out by showing a video or film in which a character who has behavior or activity can be imitated by an individual who sees it. The purpose of this study is to find out how the implementation, the responses of BK students and teachers, as well as the obstacles experienced by BK students and teachers in the implementation of online-based classical guidance services through modeling techniques for career maturity of class IX students. The approach taken is a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The data collection technique used is the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the modeling technique used in this classical guidance service can assist students in planning their further education after graduating from junior high school.Keywords: Career maturity, Junior high school students

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out the description of self-concept in class XI science students at SMAN 4 Cimahi. According to Burns, (1993) self-concept is the main part that exists in each individual because it is considered important as an attitude that tends to influence individual behavior. Quantitative approach with descriptive method is the method used in this research. The research sample was taken using a purposive sampling technique, as well as a measuring instrument in the form of a questionnaire derived from the self-concept theory by Burns (1993) which amounted to 12 statements with a sample of 32 students with male and female gender. The results showed that the frequency of 28 students (73%) with positive self-concept, namely, 7 male students and 16 female students, while the frequency of 9 students (28%) with negative self-concept, namely, 2 male students and 7 students. woman.Keywords: self-concept, Student

Abstract

Self Confidence is something that is need by an individual. This study aims to describe the confidence profil of the Aloer Wargakusumah Vocational High School students. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative, with the number of subjects as many as 102 students of class XI SMK Aloer Wargakusumah. The results showed that the level of self confidence was high at 15%, low at 71% and moderate at 13%, which had aspects of self confidace that were 80% confident in their abilities 83%, optimisic 86%, responsible, 76%, rasional and realistic 72%. Meanwhile, based on gender the cnnfidence level of women is higher than that of me, in the female gendeer self confidence dominates with a value of 55% an menas much as 45%. Thus SMK Aloer wargaksumah student generally have moderate. Keywords:   Self confidence, Students

Abstract

Emotional maturity plays an important role in the development of a student's personality. This has a significant impact on student behavior, especially in terms of responses to external stressors and physiological changes that may be caused by students. Emotional maturity also acts as a skill that allows individuals to control their emotions and respond to them at the right time. The result is a measuring tool for emotional maturity in the form of a questionnaire about emotional maturity that has passed the validity and reliability test stages. Students of SMKN 1 Pacet became the subject of this research. The research was conducted on. Class X consists of 50 students. A score of 0.882 was obtained in the reliability test and was classified in the high category. Meanwhile, after the validity test, 41 valid statements out of 60 statements contained in the questionnaire, it can be concluded that the questionnaire can be used to measure students' emotional maturity.Keywords:Emotional Maturity, Validity, Reliability

Abstract

Self image is a person's self concept which includes the physical and intelligence that is displayed to the people around him. One of the characteristics of high school students' puberty is that they want to show their existence, one of which is by displaying a self-image, but in reality the self-image that is displayed is negative, such as low self-esteem, shyness and closing off. The role of BK teachers is to develop students' self-image by using individual counseling services with a client centered approach. This study aims to describe group guidance services with a client centered approach that can develop students' self-image. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection was done by interview and documentation. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman analysis technique which consisted of three activities, namely data reduction, data presentation and data verification. The research results obtained include (1) the counseling service process begins by analyzing student problems, preparing RPL and setting a counseling schedule (2) Individual counseling services are carried out through zoom meetings and attended by one student, BK teacher and researcher (3) student responses are very good and feel helped by doing client centered approach counseling. Keywords: Self Image, Individual Service, Client Centered

Abstract

The purpose in this study to find out the picture of student confidence in SmK Kimia Dharma Bhakti, Confidence becomes a very important factor in the development of students in school in this study using many aspects of self-confidence including objectivist, optimistic, responsible, realistic and rational. The methods in this study use quantitative deriftive methods. Participants in this study were students at SmK Kimia Dharma Bhakti as many as 99 people. The procedure in data collection uses a confidence questionnaire of 40 questions. The research conducted showed that the confidence of students in SmK Kimia Dharma Bhakti was as many as 75 students with a percentage of 76% in the moderate category while based on the category of the more dominant aspect of self-confidence there were in the rational aspect, namely 71 students with a percentage of 72%.Keywords:   Selfconfidence, SMKKimia Dharma Bhakti

Abstract

In the learning process at school, we often see students who are less able to process their emotions so that it affects their learning outcomes. Therefore, intellectual intelligence is not the only success of a child but because there are others who influence it. Including the emotional turmoil that is happening in the development of adolescent students. In the development of students, it is not only intellectual intelligence that must be improved but emotional intelligence must also be developed because adolescents must be able to adapt and manage emotions to changes that occur. In this study, researchers describe emotional intelligence. The purpose of this study was to describe the emotional intelligence of 8th grade students at MTs Persis Tarogong Garut. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative. The results of this study indicate that the category of emotional intelligence of 8th grade students of MTs Persis Tarogong is in the medium category.Keywords:Emotional Intelligence, Junior High School students
