Abstract

The "Institutional Strengthening of the Social Service Information Unit (UILS)" activity was held on 4-6 July 2024 in Jambenenggang Village, Sukabumi Regency, thanks to the collaboration of the Faculty of Psychology, Bhayangkara University and Poltekesos Bandung. The purpose of this activity is to increase capacity and strengthen the role of UILS in providing responsive mental health services, especially for families with members of People with Mental Disorders (ODGJ). This activity was attended by 25 participants who were UILS administrators and volunteers, and included training on basic mental health knowledge, crisis management techniques, and early psychological support. This training aims to enable participants to identify early signs of mentaldisorders and carry out early interventions, preventing more serious conditions. In addition to increasing individual capacity, institutional strengthening is carried out by discussing organizational governance, social service access strategies, and efficient referral mechanisms to advanced mental health services. Practical sessions were also held, with simulations of providing psychological first aid in emergency situations to ensure that participants not only understand the theory but also have practical skills. Group discussions were also held to explore the problems faced by ODGJ families and find joint solutions, facilitating the sharing of experiences in providing mental health services. The results of this activity are expected to strengthen the role of UILS as the main source of support in the community, as well as improve the quality of mental health services in Jambenenggang Village, making it a model for other areas.

Abstract

This article aims to examine the influence of religiosity and spirituality on the students' psychological well-being during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used is a relational survey method. The participants of this research were 627 students who studied in universities located in Bandung and Cimahi. The universities included State Islamic University of Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung, the Indonesian Education University, Jenderal Ahmad Yani University, and the Siliwangi Institute of Teacher Training and Education. The data were collected using a questionnaire instrument consisting of a questionnaire of religiosity, spirituality, and psychological well-being. The results showed that both religiosity and spirituality had an effect on psychological well-being. It is shown that religiosity had a higher effect than spirituality on students' psychological well-being during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi pentingnya permainan terhadap perkembangan anak. Tujuan penelitian untuk menyelidiki dampak permainan terhadap keterampilan sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain survei deskriptif. Hasil pengambilan sampel ini didapatkan tiga PAUD yang ada di Cimahi. Pengambilan sampel acak sederhana Kuesioner disebarkan kepada para guru terkait pengumpulkan informasi demografis responden dan pengaruh permainan terhadap keterampilan sosial. metode ini melibatkan pengamatan untuk mengumpulkan data mengenai ketersediaan media bermain, dan interaksi siswa dengan media bermain, dan teman sebaya selama kegiatan bermain. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian bahwa ketersediaan materi bermain memiliki hubungan dengan keterampilan sosial. Hasil penelitian menunjukan keterlibatan guru memiliki pengaruh penting dalam mengembangkan keterampilan sosial anak. Selain itu anak-anak yang terlibat dalam berbagai jenis permainan dapat mempengaruhi meningkatkan keterampilan sosial mereka. Semakin banyak jenis permainan yang dimainkan semakin baik.Kata kunci : Bermain, Anak, Keterampilan

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of parental involvement on social skills in early childhood education students in Bandung City (1). The research approach uses quantitative with a comparative study method that compares two groups of children based on their parental involvement (3). The sampling technique used is convenience sampling. This technique selects respondents who are easy to reach and willing to participate. This study involved 227 parents who assessed their involvement in their children's education through a self-report scale, and 34 early childhood education teachers who assessed their children's social skills through observation (2). The instruments used consisted of a parental involvement scale and an observation-based social skills scale. Data analysis used the Mann-Whitney U nonparametric statistical test to see differences in children's social skills based on the level of parental involvement. The results showed that there were significant differences in the social skills of early childhood education students between children with high and low parental involvement (5). Children with higher parental involvement tend to have better social skills. This topic is important to study considering the role of parents in early childhood education is a key factor in forming social skills that are important for children's development in the future

Abstract

Self Confidence is something that is needed by individual. The purpose of this study is to describe the self confidence profil of the Aloer Wargakusumah Vocational High School students. In this study using descriptive quantitative methods,the sample in this study amounted to 102 students of class XI SMK Aloer Wargakusumah. The results showed that the level of self confidence was high at 15%, low at 71% and moderate at 13%, which had aspects of self confidace that were 80% confident in their abilities 83%, optimisic 86%, responsible, 76%, rasional and realistic 72%. Meanwhile, based on gender the confidence the girl hae higher grades compared to boys, in the female gendeer self confidence dominates with a value of 55% an menas much as 45%. Thus SMK Aloer wargaksumah student generally have moderate.

Abstract

The background of this research is the prevalence of bullying behavior in the school environment so that there is a need for education or understanding of the negative impacts of bullying behavior. The purpose of this study was to see the effectiveness of group guidance through cinematic video media to provide an understanding of bullying behavior towards students. This study is a pre-experimental design research using a one group pretest-posttest design because this design is designed to compare a treatment. This study uses a quantitative approach. The subjects in this study were students of SMP Plus Darul Amanah Ciwidey, totaling 30 students. The analysis of this research uses the Paired Sample T-Test formula. Based on the results of the research, it shows that group guidance using cinematic video can improve the ability to understand bullying behavior which can be seen from the significant difference from the average before group guidance of 81 and after career guidance of 116. The conclusion in this study is that group guidance using cinematic video media can improve the understanding of bullying behavior for grade VII students of SMP Plus Darul Amanah Ciwidey.

Abstract

In 2020, almost all countries have been affected by the COVID-19 outbreak, which requires students to study at home, this is considered ineffective and causes boredom. In the end resulted in a decrease in interest in learning in students. Interest in learning is one of the most important factors for the success of learning that students have. This article aims to determine the feasibility of teaching materials for the learning guidance and counseling service module in developing the learning interest of class VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Rengasdengklok. This study uses a quantitative approach with the Research and Development (RnD) method found by Bord and Gall to produce a product by going through one of the stages, namely the validation test. The validation test process involved 3 experts, two lecturers and one guidance and counseling teacher. Analysis of the data using a descriptive percentage of the results of the expert test of the product developed to get the feasibility with the media expert assessment of 96.80%, the material expert assessment of 92.64%, and the practitioner's assessment of 96.66%. The instrument used is a Likert scale validation questionnaire instrument. Then the product of the guidance and counseling service module for interest in learning meets the eligibility standards in the very feasible category for use. Thus, it can be concluded that the learning interest guidance and counseling module is suitable for use by class VII students.

Abstract

Parental divorce can have significant psychological impacts on adolescents. However, not all adolescents experience the same negative impacts, some are able to adapt and recover from these experiences through resilience. This study aims to describe and understand the dynamics of resilience in adolescent girls whose parents divorced. The approach used was a qualitative approach with a phenomenological method, with three adolescent girls living in a densely populated area with a lower-middle economic background as subjects. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and analyzed using thematic interpretative techniques. The results showed that the aspects of resilience that emerged included emotional regulation, impulse control, optimism, root cause analysis, empathy, self-efficacy, and the ability to find solutions. However, this study also found that religiosity plays a significant role as a source of psychological and spiritual strength that helps adolescents in the process of meaning-making, acceptance, and emotional healing. This aspect of religiosity emerged as a new finding that expands the previous theoretical framework and reflects the Indonesian cultural context, which is strongly based on religious values. This study concludes that the resilience of adolescents with divorced parents is determined not only by individual skills but also by the social support and spiritual values surrounding them. These findings are expected to inform the development of culturally and religiosity-based psychological interventions and serve as a reference for further research in similar contexts. ABSTRAKPerceraian orang tua dapat berdampak psikologis yang signifikan terhadap remaja. Namun, tidak semua remaja mengalami dampak negatif yang sama, beberapa mampu beradaptasi dan pulih dari pengalaman tersebut melalui resiliensi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan memahami dinamika resiliensi pada remaja putri yang orang tuanya bercerai. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode fenomenologi, dengan tiga remaja putri yang tinggal di daerah padat penduduk dengan latar belakang ekonomi menengah ke bawah sebagai subjek. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dan dianalisis menggunakan teknik interpretatif tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aspek-aspek resiliensi yang muncul meliputi regulasi emosi, pengendalian impuls, optimisme, analisis akar permasalahan, empati, efikasi diri, dan kemampuan menemukan solusi. Namun, penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa religiusitas berperan signifikan sebagai sumber kekuatan psikologis dan spiritual yang membantu remaja dalam proses pembentukan makna, penerimaan, dan penyembuhan emosional. Aspek religiusitas ini muncul sebagai temuan baru yang memperluas kerangka teori sebelumnya dan mencerminkan konteks budaya Indonesia yang sangat berlandaskan nilai-nilai agama. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa resiliensi remaja dengan orang tua yang bercerai tidak hanya ditentukan oleh keterampilan individu, tetapi juga oleh dukungan sosial dan nilai-nilai spiritual yang melingkupinya. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi dasar pengembangan intervensi psikologis berbasis budaya dan religiusitas, serta menjadi referensi bagi penelitian lebih lanjut dalam konteks serupa.

Abstract

Remaja yang tinggal di panti asuhan menghadapi tantangan psikologis yang kompleks, seperti kurangnya dukungan emosional, keterbatasan kasih sayang dari keluarga inti, dan pengalaman traumatis di masa lalu. Hal ini dapat mengganggu kesejahteraan psikologis mereka. Kegiatan Peace Within: Mindfulness and Healing Session dirancang sebagai bentuk pengabdian masyarakat untuk mendukung kesehatan mental remaja panti melalui pendekatan psikoedukatif berbasis partisipatif. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 15 Juni 2025, berlangsung sejak pukul 08.00 wib sampai dengan 15.00 wib. Aktifitas secara tatap muka di Panti Asuhan LKSA Muhammadiyah Bandung dan melibatkan 50 peserta remaja usia 15 – 20 tahun. Metode yang digunakan mencakup penyuluhan tentang mindfulness, praktik teknik relaksasi seperti deeo breathing, visual imagery, dan self talk, serta sesi konseling kelompok. Hasil kegiatan menunjukan bahwa peserta mengikuti dengan antusias, mengalami penurunan ketegangan emosional, serta menunjukan peningkatan kesadaran diri dan penerimaan terhadap diri sendiri. Suasana yang suportif dan interaktif juga mendorong peserta untuk terbuka, menjalin koneksi sosial, dan merasa dihargai. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini terbukti sebagai intervensi sederhana namun efektif untuk memperkuat kesejahteraan psikologis remaja panti, dan berpotensi direplikasi di berbagai lembaga sosial lainnya.
