Abstract

Self-Confidence is an individual who can work effectively, is able to perform his duties very well and is able to take responsibility for what he does, has plans for his future. The purpose of this study was to obtain a self-confidence profile of MTs Al Bidayah students, while the method used was descriptive quantitative research method. With the questionnaire questionnaire data collection method to obtain a self-confidence profile of MTs Al Bidayah students, where the research subjects were 120 active students of MTs Al Bidayah. The results obtained in this study were 18% of students with low self-confidence, 62% of students who had moderate levels of self-confidence, 20% of students who had high levels of self-confidence. Keywords: : low self-confidence, self-identity

Abstract

Motivation is one of the things that affect the success of student learning activities at school, without motivation, the learning process will be difficult to implement optimally. This is because learning motivation is a conscious and planned effort that will encourage a person to realize every goal and ideal in his life. The purpose of this study is to determine the extent of learning motivation possessed by the students of class XI Smk Taruna Mandiri Cimahi. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative research method with probability sampling technique, with the results obtained that more than 60% of respondents have high learning motivation, while 30% of students are still in the medium category, and 10% are in the high category. low category. This proves that there are still many students who have high learning motivation within themselves. Keywords: : Learning Motivation, High School Students

Abstract

The saturation of learning has a big impact on the decrease in learning motivation of learners. Students who initially do not know the symptoms of learning saturation may consider the learner to be lazy to learn.  But the saturation of learning that students experience can result in decreased test scores and assignments, not following the KBM process, can even ditch the school because it feels lazy. This study uses a qualitative approach. The data collection conducted are interviews and observations. The results of the study indicate that the sense of boredom in learning experienced by students is that they lack support from themselves, outside themselves and in a bad environment, thus making them lazy to take part in learning. Keywords: saturation of learning,  students

Abstract

This study aims to describe the level of self-concept of students in SMP Negeri 1 Batujajar. The approach in this study is a quantitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection in this study used an instrument in the form of the Tennessee Self Concept Scale (TSCS) of 100 statements adapted from previous research. The samples in this study were junior high school students in grades VII, VIII, and IX. The results showed that the self-concept of students at SMP Negeri 1 Batujajar was included in the medium category as many as 58 students with a percentage of 70% based on aspects of self-concept, namely identity, self-acceptance, behavior, physical, moral-ethical, personal, family, social, and social. self-criticism. Meanwhile, when viewed by gender, the moderate category is more dominant in female students as many as 54 students with a percentage of 65%. Based on age, the medium category which is more dominant in 14 year old students is 34 students with a percentage of 41%, and based on the category of the most dominant aspect, the medium category which is the most dominant in the family aspect is 56 students with a percentage of 76%. Keywords: : Self  concept, Junior High School Student

Abstract

One of the factors that influence achievement is the level of intelligence. From this background, this research formulates research objectives, namely to determine the implementation, teacher and student responses and the constraints experienced by students when implementing group guidance services with self-instruction techniques to increase adversity. quotient in underachiever students. The method used in this research is descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The subjects in this study were 32 underachiever students in class XI MIPA at SMA Negeri 1 Garut for the academic year 2019 - 2020. The results of the study were obtained group guidance services with self-instruction techniques can be used to improve adversity quotient for underachiever students in class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Garut. The response of most underachiever students with low adversity quotient felt very happy with the implementation of group guidance services with self-instruction techniques and most of them became better and more knowledgeable about self-instruction technique group guidance services in increasing adversity quotient. The constraints faced by students are that not all students are motivated to take group guidance services with self-instruction techniques, because there are still some who don't, so that students still find it difficult to express their opinions in group discussions.Keywords: : Self Instruction Technique, underachiever students, Adversity quotient

Abstract

Social skills are skills needed by every student. By having good social skills, students can also establish good relationships with the environment and peers. This study aims to describe the social skills of SMP Negeri 5 Lembang students who are in the adolescent phase, seen from the indicators of social skills of verbal responses, non-verbal responses and cognitive processes based on gender and class. The research method used in this research is descriptive quantitative. In this study, data were collected using a Likert scale social skills questionnaire based on the theory proposed by Michelson. The samples in this study were students of SMP Negeri 5 Lembang in grades VII, VII, and XI. The results showed that students' social skills based on verbal, non-verbal responses and cognitive processes seen from gender and class were in the moderate category, it was seen from verbal responses, positive or negative expressions and thoughts of students that could determine whether or not communication and interaction was good. What students do to their friends and their environment.   Keywords: : Descriptive Study, Student Social Skills, Adolescents

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the self-concept profile of class VIII students so that it could be seen the number of students who had a positive self-concept and the number of students who had a negative self-concept.  Self-concept is a relationship between attitudes and beliefs about ourselves. Self-concept is an ongoing process along with individual growth and development. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative method.  The research sample was 32 students of class VIII A SMPN 3 Baleendah.  The technique of collecting data is by distributing self-concept questionnaires.  Based on the results of distributing self-concept questionnaires, it can be concluded that students who have a positive self-concept are in the low category of 4 people, 24 people in the medium category and 4 people in the high category.Keywords: : Self-concept, students, developmental tasks

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to study whether there is a relationship between learning independence and motivation to learn in class VIII students of SMPN 6 Garut. The population in this study were eighth grade students of SMPN 6 Garut. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling technique so that research samples are obtained as many as 56 people. The research method uses quantitative correlational design with product estimation data analysis techniques based on learning motivation questionnaire data and student learning independence. Analysis of the data received with the application of spss 22 obtained significant research results between learning independence and learning motivation of grade VII students of SMPN 6 Garut with a comparison value of 0.822 in the category of very strong positive relationships. Hoping to learn while improving the learning of learners will increase.Keywords: : Learning motivation, learning independence

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of learning motivation in students of SMA Negeri 1 Cisarua, West Bandung Regency. The research conducted by the researcher is a quantitative research, while the method used is a quantitative descriptive method. Methods of data collection using a questionnaire, and study documentation. Data analysis with percentage technique, correlation with the help of SPSS for Windows version 20.0 program. Based on the results of research and discussion in this study, the following conclusions can be drawn. From the results of the equation formed, it can be explained that there are 20% of students whose learning motivation is low, 59% moderate and 21% high.Keywords: Learning Motivation, Students

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui apakah penerapan teknik self management dapat mengelola stres akademik peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan untuk penelitian ini yaitu Pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan Metode penelitian ini merupakan jenis quasi eksperimen dengan menggunakan model one control grup design, yaitu eksperimen atau pemberian treatment yang dilakukan pada kelompok kontrol dan kelompok eksperimen. Penelitan ini menyimpulkan bahwa hasil penelitian “penerapan konseling kelompok dengan teknik self management efektif dalam rangka mengelola stres akademik peserta didik kelas VIII  D di SMPN 2 Batujajar, Kab.Bandung Barat ”, dapat disimpulkan bahwa stres akademik dapat direduksi melalui layanan konseling kelompok dengan self management. Berdasarkan hasil output diatas diketahui nilai sig.(2-tailed) adalah sebesar 0,000 < 0,05, maka HO ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dengan hasil perhitungan rata-rata skor stres akademik sebelum diberikan perlakuan adalah 131 dan setelah diberikan perlakuan teknik self management untuk mereduksi stres akademik pada peserta didik cenderung menurun dengan presentase 55%. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada perbedaan rata-rata antara hasil pretest dengan posttest yang artinya ada pengaruh dalam penerapan teknik self management  dapat  mereduksi stres akademik pada peserta didik kelas VIII D di  SMPN 2 Batujajar di Kab. Bandung Barat.Kata Kunci : Stres akademik, Self management, konseling kelompok
