Abstract

The purpose of this study was to obtain empirical data regarding the level of student self-efficacy at MTs Nurul Hidayah. This study uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. Collecting data using a self-efficacy instrument that contains 38 statement items with a sample of 100 students in grades VII and VIII. The results showed that the level of self-efficacy of students in MTs Nurul Hidayah are in the medium category, which is between the high and low categories, most of which are quite capable and confident in their abilities. As for the aspect of the dimension of self-efficacy, the highest order of results is obtained at the 68% level dimension, followed by the generalization dimension 67%, and the last order is the strength dimension 64%. The results of this study are to determine the description of student self-efficacy at MTs Nurul Hidayah which should to be an aide for BK instructors as a work to assist with further developing understudy self-efficacy. Keywords: : Self efficacy. students

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know the picture of student learning discipline grade VIII of SMP Negeri 1 Cilawu Garut The method used is descriptive quantitative research with a learning discipline scale data collection tool and learner observation sheets in class. The results showed that student learning discipline was in the medium category. Discipline of learning by sex shows that the discipline of learning of female students (87,02)  is better than the discipline of learning of male students (74,15). The results of the study of disciplinary learning in terms of aspects of learning discipline were found that students' sense of responsibility was in the low category, while the obedience and timeliness aspects were in the medium category.Keywords: : Discipline learning., Students

Abstract

This study aims to describe the condition of self-esteem in class XI students of SMAN 1 Margaasih. This research is a quantitative descriptive study with a sample of 100 students from a total population of 355 students. The sampling technique used a random sampling technique and used Schiraldi's instrument (2001). In this study, it was revealed that thecondition self-esteem of class XI students of SMAN 1 Margaasih was generally in the medium category or if the percentage was 71%, while the high category was 16% and the low category was 13%. The data analyzed showed that the level of self-esteem in each category was mostly experienced by women. This can be seen from 15 students who are categorized as high, 81.25% are female students and 18.75% are male students. Then for thecategory moderate self-esteem, there are 71 students of which 70.4% are female and 29.5% are male. Meanwhile, for thecategory self-esteem low, there are 13 students of which 69.2% are female and 30.8% are male. This is because women generally have self-esteem  lowerthan men, examples that appear are pessimism and lack of self-confidence or the feeling that women need to be protected. Physical conditions such as height, weight, skin color, etc. also greatly affect the formation of self-esteem students'.   Keywords: : Self Esteem, Students

Abstract

This research aims to describe the level of career maturity of learners at SMA Negeri 1 Cibeber high school. The approach to this research is through quantitative approaches through descriptive methods. The data collection in this study used career maturity instruments based on the theory of Sciarra D. T in the form of likert-scale questionnaires adapted from previous research. Sampling techniques in this study used proportional random sampling technique through the slovin formula, so that it could be sampled as many as 106 learners. The results showed that the level of career maturity of learners in SMA Negeri 1 Cibeber high school in the low category was as many as 17 learners with a percentage of 16%, in the moderate category as many as 69 learners with a percentage of 65%, and in the high category, as many as 20 learners with a percentage of 19%. Meanwhile, when viewed by gender, male learners in the low category had as many as 10 learners with a percentage of 9%, in the moderate category, as many as 31 learners with a percentage of 29%, and in the high categories, as many as 6 learners with a percentage of 6%. While female learners in the low category as many as 7 learners with a percentage of 7%, in the moderate category as many as 38 learners with a percentage of 36%, and in the high category as many as 14 learners with a percentage of 13%. Based on the overall data, students of SMA Negeri 1 Cibeber high school have a picture of career maturity in the moderate category, meaning that the career maturity of learners is at a fairly good stage. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis tingkat keterampilan metakognitif siswa (SMAN) 1 Margaasih Kabupaten Bandung Propinsi Jawa Barat. Penelitian ini merupakan studi deskriptif dengan melibatkan 356 siswa sebagai partisipan yang terdiri 160 siswa laki-laki dan 196 siswa perempuan dari kelas X, XI, dan XII. Data dijaring dari dua instrument penelitian yaitu formulir informasi pribadi (Personal Information Form) yang dikembangkan oleh peneliti untuk menjaring data yang berkaitan dengan tingkat kelas dan jenis kelamin serta Skala Keterampilan Metakognitif (Metacognitif Skills Scale) yang diadaptasi dari Tuncer and Kaysi (2013). Temuan penelitian menunjukan bahwa siswa memiliki keterampilan metakognitif yang tinggi yang terdiri dari tiga aspek yaitu keterampilan berpikir reflektif untuk menyelesaikan masalah, keterampilan membuat keputusan dan keterampilan membuat evaluasi alternatif. Hasil keterampilan metakognitif berdasarkan level kelas menunjukan bahwa keterampilan metakognitif siswa meningkat seiring dengan meningkatnya level kelas. Dari aspek gender, hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa siswa laki-laki dan siswa perempuan memeiliki tingkat keterampilan metakognitif yang relatif sama. This study aims to investigate the level of student’s metacognitive skills at Public Senior High School (SMAN) 1 Margaasih Bandung. This research is a descriptive study which involved 356 Senior High Students as participants consits of 160 male students and 196 female students. They are the 10th, 11th, and 12th graders. The data were collected from Personal Information Form to know the students’ grade and gender, and scale of metacognitive skills adapted from Tuncer and Kaysi (2013) to assess students’ metacognitive skills. The findings indicate that Senior High Students have high metacognitive skills which consist of three sub-dimensions namely reflective thinking skills to solve problems, skills to make decision and skill to make alteternative evaluation. In addition, the result of student’s metacognitive skills in term of class level indicate that the student’s metacognitive skills tend to increase as students get higher level. In term of gender, the result shows that both male and female students show no significant difference in their metacognitive skills.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of instrinsic motivation and metacognitive awareness on students academic achievement. The study first tries to investigate whether there are any correlation between intrinsic motivation and students academic achievement and also the correlation between metacognitive awareness and academic achievement. The study then goes to search whether intrinsic motivation and metacognitive awareness when they are combined together have impact on student’s academic achievement. The sample of this study consist of 387 Senior High School students. The data collection is conducted with the use of Intrinsic Motivation Inventory (IMI), Metacognitive Awareness Inventory (MAI) and the students’ grades. As a result, it was found that intrinsic motivation has significant impact on the student’s academic achievement, meanwhile metacognitive awareness has no impact on students’ academic achievement. But, intrinsic motivation and metacognitive awareness when they are combined together gave 4% contribution to academic achievement.

Abstract

ABSTRAKKegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi dan wawasan mengenai Positive Parenting Program (Tripe P) melalui seminar Parenting kepada Ibu-Ibu Dhrama Wanita Persatuan Kabupaten Garut. Bentuk penyampaian materi diakukan dalam bentuk Ceramah, Role play dan diskusi. Hasil dari kegiatan  ini  bermanfaat karena peserta mendapatkan wawasan dan pengetahuan mengenai pola pengasuhan anak yang lebih positif dan mengembangkan keyakinan bahwa orang tua memiiki kendali penuh terhadap pengasuhannya baik dengan dukungan yang minimal bahkan tanpa dukungan sekalipun serta mampu mengelola dinamika emosi pada saat orang tua melakukan pengasuhan.Kata Kunci : Orang tua, Pengasuhan, positif

Abstract

This research is based on the phenomena that occur in the school. This ability must be possessed by every individual, especially students to support the success of educational goals and complete learning tasks. Students who have good academic efficacy will have a high level of success in completing their assignments. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative. In this study using a Likert scale to measure attitudes and descriptions of students' academic self-efficacy. And the subject in the study was 105 students of Mts al-Badar Gununghalu. The results showed that the academic self-efficacy of Mts Albadar students was in the medium category 59 (56%) ), while the rest are in the low category with the number of students 22 (21%), and 24 (23%) students are in the high category. With the conclusion that students' academic self-efficacy is in a state of being reviewed from aspects that affect academic self-efficacy consisting of the level of difficulty, strength, as well as the area of activity and things that cause low academic self-efficacy and need to be improved in order to achieve goals and can complete the task optimally. Keywords: : academic self-efficacy, students,

Abstract

Independence in learning is student learning activities that are carried out individually without depending on the people around them, initiative, have the desire and awareness and can be responsible for completing assignments and learning problems on their own. Seeing the importance of independent learning for the future of students, an instrument is needed for independent learning. This study has the aim of testing the validity and reliability of the student learning independence questionnaire. The data collection instrument used was a questionnaire consisting of 30 statements with a subject of 60 students of SMP Negeri'2 Batujajar. It is known that from 30 statements, 28 statements were declared valid with a reliability result of 0.830 belonging to the high category. So it can be concluded that this questionnaire is valid and reliable to be used as an instrument to measure student learning independence.Keywords: : Learning Independence, Validity, Reliability

Abstract

This study aims to determine the description of student truancy behavior in SMP Kartika XIX-2. This type of research is a descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were students of class VII and VIII at SMP Kartika XIX-2 Bandung. The sample in this study amounted to 152 students. The sampling technique in this study is saturated sampling, with the aim that each population is used as a sample. The data collection technique used was in the form of a questionnaire, which consisted of indicators of truancy behavior and factors causing truancy. From the results of the data analysis of truancy behavior there are 33% (50 students) truant behavior is categorized as high, 48% (73 students) are categorized as being truant behavior and only 19% (29 students) are declared low in truancy behavior. Based on the results of research conducted by researchers, it is known that there are 2 factors that cause truancy behavior, namely internal factors from within the child itself and external factors, namely from the surrounding environment, family, friends, and school environment.Keywords: : truancy behavior, truancy factor
