Abstract

Studies on the effectiveness of pesantren kilat (short-term Islamic boarding programs) from the perspectives of ideology and pesantren management remain limited, especially in comparative contexts between modern and traditional pesantren. Pesantren kilat aim to enhance students' religious understanding and cultivate Islamic character. However, differences in ideological orientation and managerial approaches significantly affect the implementation of these programs. This study examines the management of pesantren kilat at the Islamic Centre Bin Baz Boarding School in Wangon, Banyumas (Salafi-modern) and the Al-Ishlah Boarding School in Mangkang, Semarang (Aswaja-traditional). Using a descriptive qualitative method with a comparative approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings reveal that Bin Baz implements systematic, technology-based planning, flexible organizational structures, and adaptive execution with informal communication. Program evaluation is conducted strictly by coordinators. In contrast, Al-Ishlah applies tradition-based planning directed by the kyai, hierarchical organization emphasizing obedience, charismatic leadership in program implementation, and traditional evaluation methods through sorogan and bandongan. These findings confirm that ideological and managerial differences shape program effectiveness. The study recommends the optimization of technology and the adoption of data-driven evaluation methods to enhance the quality of pesantren kilat programs.

Abstract

Tiga Pier Beach in Pamekasan Regency has emerged as a marine tourism destination contributing to local socio-economic development. Prior to tourism initiatives, the area lacked adequate waste management; however, the introduction of daily cleaning services has reduced environmental degradation. This study explores the application of blue economy principles creativity, innovation, local resource utilization, and zero-waste practices in fostering sustainable marine tourism, analyzed through an Islamic economic lens. Using a descriptive qualitative method, data were obtained from Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDes) and Civil Service officials in Branta Village. Findings reveal that blue economy implementation is reflected in four key practices: (1) natural efficiency through low CO₂ emissions and resource conservation, (2) zero-waste management, (3) community empowerment to enhance social awareness, and (4) income diversification for coastal residents. These strategies have improved both economic benefits and the quality of tourist destinations. The study concludes that integrating blue economy principles with Islamic economic values can strengthen sustainability outcomes, providing a viable model for marine tourism development in Muslim-majority coastal regions.

Abstract

Tiktok Shop is one proof of increasingly sophisticated technological developments in the realm of buying and selling online. But behind the advantages offered, there are still things that are detrimental to the community, namely buying an item that is only based on wishes not only for daily needs. This study aims to determine the consumptive behavior of Muslim students in Madura as Z Gen in using the Tiktok Shop application while looking based on the perspective of Sharia Maqashid. This study uses qualitative methods with descriptive forms. The data collection techniques used are observations, interviews, and literature reviews. There are three criteria for determining the informant used: First, Muslim students in Madura; Second, students who have Tiktok applications; Third, have bought goods in the Tiktok Shop application. The results showed the occurrence of consumptive behavior because it was caused by several internal and external factors, namely: 1) Internal factors: Age and lifestyle, 2) External factors: free postage vouchers, discount vouchers, and cheaper prices. These factors, if viewed based on the perspective of Sharia Maqashid, Muslim students in Madura in buying an item not based on the level of priority and do not refine the principle of hifz an-nafs (maintaining the soul) and Hifz al-Mal (maintaining property) because it is influenced and controlled by a desire for pleasure and not based on needs, resulting in consumptive behavior

Abstract

The increase in the use of online transportation in East Java cannot be separated from the role of social media as a means of promotion and interaction with consumers. Consumers are now more inclined to choose transportation services not only because of price, but also because of their trust in the brand and the quality of the digital experience offered. This study attempts to analyze the factors that influence consumer loyalty to online transportation services, with a focus on the role of social media marketing, brand trust, brand affect, and value consciousness. In addition, brand trust is also tested as a mediating variable that connects social media marketing with brand loyalty. This study uses a quantitative approach involving 311 respondents who are online transportation users in East Java through purposive sampling. Data was obtained using a Likert scale-based questionnaire and analyzed using SEM-PLS version 4.0. The results show that social media marketing and brand trust have a positive and significant effect on brand loyalty, while brand affect and value consciousness do not have a significant effect. Social media marketing is also proven to increase brand trust, which then mediates the relationship with brand loyalty. These findings confirm that in the online transportation industry, consumer trust is the main factor in shaping loyalty, while emotional aspects and price awareness are not as decisive. This research can serve as a theoretical reference for the development of digital marketing and brand loyalty literature, as well as a practical guide for online transportation companies to focus more on building brand trust through transparent, interactive, and consistent social media marketing strategies in order to strengthen consumer loyalty.
