Abstract

The Shadow Teacher is urgent in inclusive education. However, the shadow teacher cannot be found in all-inclusive educational institutions. The purpose of the study is to evaluate learning programs in inclusive primary schools that do not have Shadow Teachers. This case study was carried out in SDN Gunung Gatep, one of Central Lombok's inclusive elementary schools, from May to November 2020. The data was obtained through interviews with teachers, principals, and students with special needs. In addition to interviews, the data collection was taken by recording and observation during the learning process. Based on the results of the report, the teaching services provided by teachers are not satisfactory.Guru pendamping khusus berperan penting dalam pendidikan inklusif. Permasalahannya adalah tidak semua penyelenggara pendidikan inklusif memiliki guru pendamping khusus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis layanan belajar di sekolah dasar inklusif yang tidak memiliki guru pendamping khusus. Pengambilan data dilaksanakan di SDN Gunung Gatep, salah satu sekolah dasar inklusif di Lombok Tengah,  sejak Mei hingga November 2020. Data penelitian deskriptif kualitatif jenis studi kasus ini dilaksanakan melalui wawancara dengan informan utama guru, kepala sekolah dan siswa berkebutuhan khusus. Selain dengan wawancara, pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan dokumentasi dan observasi pada saat proses pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, layanan belajar yang dilakukan guru belum optimal.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the perception of generation Z on the preservation of Sasak characters. The research respondents considered 25 people aged 14-22 years. This research is designed in quantitative quantitative form. Data collection using a questionnaire and the results of the questionnaire were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results showed that the interest in creating Z in preserving the Sasak script was quite high but it made Z difficult to preserve the Sasak script because he only learned it in elementary school (SD). Generation Z has minimal knowledge and skills as well as limited access in developing Sasak characters. Sasak script preservation program needs to get attention and support from the government and society in order to create Z's access to learn, develop, and be able to preserve Sasak script.

Abstract

A good education will be difficult to be realized without the collaboration among all education components. One of the elements which significantly contribute to determine the quality of eduction is the role of parents. However, many parents have no active engagement in education process of children. The phenomenon occurred shows that the educational process is still only concerned in the school. Education is only considered as the responsibility of the teacher only. There are a few parents that do the feedback from the educational process in the school. For its implication, the quality of education is not as well as expected. This study aims to acknowledge the importance of parents’ involvement in improving the quality of education. This study employs literature method. The procedure of the research was conducted by analyzing various relevant literatures to answer the research question. The finding shows that the involvement of parents in education is essential, especially in the level of elementary school. There are some kinds of activity which can be done by parents to collaborate with school. The involvement of parents in education can be realized by supporting students’ activity in school, appreciating students’ learning achievement, supervising, providing good facilities, and giving intensive learning guidance to students outside the school environment

Abstract

Distance learning in its implementation there still has many obstacles. One of the obstacles in distance learning is that it is difficult for teachers to assess student involvement in learning. Based on these problems, teachers need to be assisted so that an assessment of student involvement in distance learning can be carried out. One of the efforts that can be done is to develop a digital-based learning activity observation instrument. In this study, it will be studied why the use of digital-based instruments is important to development. This research uses a literature study method. The data source comes from the relevant previous research results. Based on the results of the literature study, information was obtained that the use of digital-based instruments has many benefits. The benefits of using digital-based instruments include: it can speed up the assessment process, the implementation of the assessment is more flexible, and transparency of the assessment can be realized. Another benefit of digital-based instruments is that it makes it easier for teachers to collaborate with parents in conducting assessments. With digital-based instruments, it can create a partnership model between teachers and parents in improving the quality of education

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine student perceptions about learning from home or learning from home. The main problems studied are what applications are often used, the problem of quota subsidies from universities, signal constraints when studying, supervision, and the responses of parents of students when they study from home. This research will also reveal the advantages and disadvantages as well as suggestions related to learning from home that are effective and fun for students. The research method used in this research is to use quantitative research with a descriptive approach. The research subjects were students of the Mataram University PGSD Study Program semester 3. The data collection techniques were carried out by filling out a questionnaire in the form of a Google Form. The data obtained from the distribution of Google Forms to the 3rd-semester PGSD students of Mataram University showed that learning from homemade the 3rd-semester PGSD students bored and felt ineffective in learning. Students prefer to learn face-to-face because they are more effective and understand learning material more quickly. Students hope that the effectiveness of learning carried out from home online will be increased through various fun learning methods

Abstract

The relatively fast curriculum changes in the last two decades have caused a lot of noise in its implementation. One element that is quite affected by this change is the teacher. Not a few teachers find it difficult to implement the new curriculum when there is a change in the curriculum. One of the discourses launched by the government in the field of education in 2022 is the application of a prototype curriculum at all levels of education, including the elementary school level. This study aims to determine how teachers' expectations of government discourse in implementing the prototype curriculum in elementary schools. The object of study in this study was elementary and Islamic elementary school teachers. The research location is in Mataram City, West Nusa Tenggara. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection using interviews. Through this research, it is expected to find a picture of how teachers expect the discourse of implementing the prototype curriculum in elementary schools. The results showed that teachers had very high expectations of the prototype curriculum. Teacher expectations for the curriculum include the curriculum being able to improve the shortcomings of the previous curriculum, making it easier for teachers in the learning process, and being able to improve the quality of learning after the pandemic.

Abstract

The existence of instruments in measuring student learning activities plays a very important role. This study aims to determine the feasibility of aspects of content, language and usefulness in developing student learning activity instruments based on the partnership model in elementary schools. The type of research used is development research. The development model used is the 4D model with define, design, develop and disseminate stages. The instruments used in data collection included: needs analysis questionnaires, instrument validation sheets by evaluation experts, instrument validation sheets by linguists and instrument validation sheets by users. The results showed that the feasibility of student activity sheet instruments from the content aspect got a score of 86, the language aspect got a score of 82, and the usability aspect got a score of 88. The validation results on the partnership model based learning activity sheet instrument show that from the aspect of content and usefulness the instrument is categorized very feasible, while from the aspect of language it is included in the feasible category. Based on the results of the validation test, it can be concluded that the partnership model-based instrument is feasible to use to measure student learning activities in elementary schools

Abstract

ABSTRAKTingkat plagiasi merupakan salah satu indikator orisinalitas sebuah karya ilmiah. Tingginya tingkat plagiasi dapat mengindikasikan adanya ketidakjujuran mahasiswa dalam penulisan karya ilmiah. Kasus plagiarisme dalam penulisan karya ilmiah tidak hanya terjadi karena faktor kesengajaan, tetapi juga dapat terjadi karena keterbatasan pengetahuan mahasiswa terhadap teknik penulisan. Penyebab tingginya plagiasi dapat terjadi karena kesalahan pengutipan sumber pustaka, baik dari jurnal ilmiah, buku maupun sumber lainnya. Bentuk kesalahan yang terjadi adalah mahasiswa tidak melakukan parafrase terhadap redaksi yang dijadikan rujukan. Mahasiswa cenderung copy paste terhadap redaksi yang dikutipnya. Implikasinya adalah ketika dilakukan cek smiliarity akan terdeteksi sebagai plagiasi, meskipun telah diberi rujukan. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut perlu dilakukan pelatihan teknik parafrase untuk mengurangi tingkat plagiasi pada karya ilmiah mahasiswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini adalah dengan memberikan pelatihan secara tatap muka langsung. Pelatihan dilakukan di program studi PGSD Universitas Mataram yang berlangsung selama 4 jam. Sasaran kegiatan ini adalah mahasiswa tingkat akhir yang akan mempersiapkan penyusunan proposal skripsi. Pelatihan dilakukan di program studi PGSD Universitas Mataram. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan mahasiswa terkait dengan teknik parafrase. Tingkat plagiasi mahasiswa mengalami penurunan setelah mendapatkan pelatihan. Berdasarkan hasil pelatihan tersebut disarankan agar mahasiswa terus dimbimbing secara intensif dalam penulisan karya ilmiah. Mahasiswa harus meninggalkan kebiasaan copy paste agar terhindar dari kasus plagiasi pada saat penulisan tugas akhir. Kata kunci: teknik parafrase; karya ilmiah; tingkat plagiasi ABSTRACTThe level of plagiarism is one indicator of the originality of a scientific work. The high level of plagiarism can indicate students' dishonesty in writing scientific papers. Cases of plagiarism in writing scientific papers do not only occur due to intentional factors, but can also occur due to students' limited knowledge of writing techniques. The cause of high plagiarism can occur due to errors in citing library sources, both from scientific journals, books and other sources. The form of error that occurs is that the student does not paraphrase the editor who is used as a reference. Students tend to copy and paste the editors they quote. The implication is that when a smiliarity check is carried out, it will be detected as plagiarism, even though it has been given a reference. Based on these problems, it is necessary to conduct paraphrasing technique training to reduce the level of plagiarism in student scientific works. The method used in this training is to provide face-to-face training. The training was conducted in the PGSD study program at the University of Mataram which lasted for 4 hours. The target of this activity is final year students who will prepare the preparation of thesis proposals. The training was conducted in the PGSD study program at the University of Mataram. The results of the training showed an increase in students' knowledge and skills related to paraphrasing techniques. The level of student plagiarism decreased after receiving training. Based on the results of the training, it is recommended that students continue to be guided intensively in writing scientific papers. Students must abandon the habit of copying and pasting in order to avoid plagiarism cases when writing their final project Keywords: paraphrasing technique; scientific work; plagiarism level

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenanganan siswa berkesulitan belajar bagi guru Sekolah Dasar merupakan salah satu tugas dan tanggungjawabnya dalam proses pembelajaran dan layanan bimbingan dan konseling di Sekolah. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keketerampilan peserta dalam penanganan siswa berkesulitan belajar. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, tim melakukan kegiatan sebagai berikut: 1) Kegitan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan secara tatap muka (offline) dengan protokol kesehatan yang ketat; 2) Pelaksanaan kegiatannya dibagi dalam tiga tahapan sebagai berikut: a) kegiatan awal, b) kegiatan inti, dan c) kegiatan akhir. Masing-masing sesi kegiatan dipandu dan didampingi oleh anggota tim sebagai nara sumber; 3) Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan,  yaitu: metode ceramah (presentasi), diskusi-Tanya jawab, pelatihan (praktek dan simulasi), dan metode tes; dan 4) Metode analisis data hasil pelatihan dan pendampingan digunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil yang diperoleh dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarat dengan jumlah peserta 11 (sebelas) orang guru berupa hasil tes awal (pretest) dan hasil tes akhir (postt-test). Adapun hasil tes awal yang dimaksud adalah sebagai berikut: 1) hasil tes awal kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat menunjukkan bahwa 3 orang (27.27 %) mencapai hasil dalam kategori baik, 8 orang (72.73 %) mencapai hasil dalam kategori cukup baik, dan rata capaian tergolong cukup baik; 2) hasil tes akhir kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat menunjukkan bahwa 5 orang (45.45 %) mencapai hasil dalam kategori baik, 6 orang (54.55 %) mencapai hasil dalam kategori sangat baik, dan rata capaian tergolong sangat baik; 3) Rata-rata peningkatan hasil pendampingan dan pelatihan diagnosa siswa berkesulitan belajar adalah 22.97 %. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pendampingan dan pelatihan efktif untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru dalam penanganan siswa berkesulitan belajar. Kata kunci: kesulitan belajar; pengetahuan guru; sekolah dasar ABSTRACTHandling students with learning difficulties in elementary school teachers is one of their duties and responsibilities in the learning process as guidance and counseling services in schools. The purpose of this community service activity is to increase the knowledge and skills of participants in handling students with learning difficulties. To achieve this goal, the team carried out the following activities: 1) This service activity was carried out face-to-face (offline) with strict health protocols; 2) The implementation of the activities are divided into three stages as follows: a) initial activities, b) core activities, and c) final activities. Each activity session is guided and accompanied by team members as resource persons; 3) The implementation methods used are: lecture method (presentation), discussion-question and answer, training (practice and simulation), and test method; and 4) The method of data analysis of the results of the training and mentoring used descriptive analysis. The results obtained from community service activities with the number of participants 11 (eleven) teachers in the form of the results of the initial test (pretest) and the results of the final test (post-test). The results of the initial test in question are as follows: 1) the results of the initial test of community service activities show that 3 people (27.27%) achieved results in the good category, 8 people (72.73%) achieved results in the fairly good category, and the average achievement was classified as pretty good; 2) the results of the final test of community service activities showed that 5 people (45.45%) achieved results in the good category, 6 people (54.55%) achieved results in the very good category, and the average achievement was classified as very good; 3) The average increase in the results of assistance and training in diagnosing students with learning disabilities is 22.97%. This shows that mentoring and training activities are effective in improving teachers' knowledge and skills in handling students with learning difficulties. Keywords: difficulty learning; teacher knowledge; primary school

Abstract

The media has a crucial role in online learning in the pandemic era. One of the media that teachers need in online learning is a web-based application. This study aimed to determine teacher expectations of the use of web-based applications in online learning. This study was survey research conducted at one of the public elementary schools in Kabupaten Lombok Barat. The survey was conducted on 15 primary school teachers. The results of the study indicated that teachers were not familiar with web-based applications to facilitate online learning. Only 20% of teachers were reliable with the use of web-based applications for learning. Most teachers expected to receive training related to the use of web-based applications. The application used was only limited to the WhatsApp Group. Teachers' ability to use other web-based applications was still limited. At least 80% of teachers felt that they needed special training in the use of web-based applications for the learning process and the evaluation of students' learning outcomes.
