Abstract

Salah satu kompetensi yang harus dimiliki oleh calon guru sekolah dasar adalah kemampuan dalam membuat istrumen evaluasi hasil belajar. Semakin baik kualitas instrumen yang disusun maka semakin baik pula kualitas pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan, maka dari itu calon guru harus dilatih untuk membuat soal yang baik. Instrumen yang sering digunakan dalam evaluasi hasil belajar adalah soal tes. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan calon guru SD dalam menyusun soal ditinjau dari penggunaan level koginitif. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan unjuk kemampuan dalam menyusun soal tes. Masing-masing calon guru diberi kesempatan untuk membuat 5 soal. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah calon guru SD dengan jumlah 74 mahasiswa. Pengambilan sampel melalui purposive sampling. Indikator kemampuan menyusun soal didasarkan pada penggunaan level kognitif dalam menyusun soal. Semakin banyak soal yang menggunakan level kognitif tingkat tinggi maka semakin baik pula kualitas soal yang disusun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan calon guru SD dalam menyusun soal ditinjau dari penggunaan level kognitif masih kurang. Sebagian besar soal yang disusun calon guru termasuk dalam kategori soal dengan level kognitif yang rendah. Soal dengan kategori level koginitif rendah mencapai 81% dari 370 soal yang disusun, sedangkan soal dengan kategori level kognitif tinggi hanya 19%.

Abstract

Abstract: The development of talent and creativity of elementary school age children is still not fully developed so that this research has a purpose, namely to find out how the role of parents and teachers in developing the talents and creativity of elementary school age children. The research method used is a literature study or systematic literature review, namely how to review and analyze several journals related to the development of talents and creativity of elementary school age children. Through this method, you will find several journals or articles that serve as references to find out how elementary school-age children can show and develop their talents and creativity, so that they can be channeled according to what they want through activities that can hone their creativity and talents. Abstrak: Pengembangan bakat dan kreativitas anak usia sekolah dasar masih belum sepenuhnya untuk dikembangkan sehingga penelitian ini memiliki tujuan yaitu untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran orang tua maupun guru dalam mengembangkan bakat dan kreativitas yang dimiliki anak usia sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi literatur atau tinjauan pustaka yang sistematis, yaitu bagaimana mengkaji dan menganalisis beberapa jurnal yang berhubungan dengan pengembangan bakat dan kreativitas anak usia sekolah dasar. Melalui metode ini akan ditemukan beberapa jurnal atau artikel yang menjadi referensi untuk mencari tahu bagaimana cara agar anak usia sekolah dasar bisa menunjukkan dan mengembangkan bakat serta kreativitas dalam dirinya, sehingga bisa tersalurkan sesuai dengan apa yang diinginkan melalui kegiatan-kegiatan yang dapat mengasah kreativitas dan bakat yang dimilikinya.

Abstract

Abstract: The sophistication of the development of digital technology has an influence on the literacy culture which has begun to erode, especially in the reading culture of the community, especially in elementary school-aged children. Excessive use of gadgets in addition to having an impact on physical health, this can also affect the level of motivation or interest in reading children. Therefore, it is necessary to increase the literacy culture in children accompanied by support from various parties such as parents, teachers and the government. This research uses the literature study method by reviewing and collecting various sources of information from several scientific articles. The purpose of writing this article is to find out the literacy culture of the digital era, find out the importance of growing a reading literacy culture in elementary school children, and efforts to grow a literacy culture. The results presented in this study are cultural literacy has an important role for the growth of characteristics and development of children both in knowledge and in life. Abstrak: Canggihnya perkembangan teknologi digital memiliki pengaruh terhadap budaya literasi yang sudah mulai terkikis khususnya pada budaya membaca masyarakat terutama pada anak usia sekolah dasar. Penggunaan gadget yang berlebihan selain berdampak pada kesehatan fisik, hal ini juga dapat mempengaruhi tingkat motivasi atau minat baca anak. Oleh karena itu,perlu adanya peningkatan budaya literasi pada anak disertai dukungan dari berbagai pihak seperti,orang tua,guru dan pemerintah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka dengan mengkaji serta mengumpulkan berbagai sumber informasi dari beberapa artikel ilmiah. Tujuan dari penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk mengetahui budaya literasi era digital, mengetahui pentingnya penumbuhan budaya literasi membaca pada anak sekolah dasar, dan upaya penumbuhan budaya literasi. Hasil yang dikemukakan dalam penelitian ini adalah budaya literasi memiliki peranan penting bagi penumbuhan karakteristik serta perkembangan anak baik dalam pengetahuan maupun kehidupannya.

Abstract

Character building in the educational process is the main aspect that must be done before building intelligence. Students are expected to master etiquette before learning about science. Armed with the character of students, they will be wiser in practicing the knowledge they have in the future. There are various ways to internalize character values ??in students, one of which is through school culture. The role of school culture is very large in shaping the character values ??of students. Therefore, the mainstreaming of school culture development in strengthening character values ??needs to be investigated. In this study, it will be described how mainstream school culture is a reinforcement of student character values. The purpose of this study is to find out how the strategies that schools can do in mainstream school culture as reinforcement of character values. The research was conducted using the library method. Sources of data in this study are the results of previous studies that have been published in scientific journals, seminars, and books. Various sources of data that have been collected are then analyzed to find answers to the research objectives. Abstract

This study aims to analyze how humanist education is manifested in the independent campus policy in tertiary institutions. This study uses library research methods. The research was conducted by tracing the results of previous studies related to the theory of humanism and the independent curriculum. Research sources were searched online by typing the keywords Car R. Roger, humanism, independent campus and independent curriculum on the Google Scholar search engine, ProQuest, Elsevier and other online scientific information providers. The results of the study show that the independent campus has a close relationship with the theory of humanism initiated by Carl R Roger. The concept of independent learning is in line with the theory of humanism which upholds freedom of learning, learning experience and students have the right to develop themselves according to their respective talents and abilities. The form of humanism in the independent curriculum is to give freedom to students to study 20 credits outside the study program. Some of the activities that can be converted into courses include internships, humanitarian projects, student exchanges, teaching assistance, research, entrepreneurship, independent projects and organizing social activities. Based on the findings of this study, it can be concluded that the independent campus policy in tertiary institutions has led to the realization of a humanist education.

Abstract

Teacher competence is related to the teacher's ability to design learning in the classroom. One material that has a high level of difficulty is local script material. In general, students have a low interest in learning literacy lessons. Based on preliminary research at one elementary school, it is known that students' interest in learning local characters is quite high. Armed with this initial study, it is necessary to conduct further research on how teachers design local script learning in the classroom so that learning is more interesting. This study aims to describe the competence of teachers in designing local script learning from the perspective of students. The research was designed in a quantitative descriptive form with the category of survey research. The instruments used are questionnaires and interview guidelines. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The research location is SDN Rada, Bima Regency. The subjects of this study were students of class V totaling 30 students. The results of this study indicate that teachers have good competence in the perspective of students. Students feel happy with the varied and fun learning models. Students' perception of teacher competence in teaching is what drives students' interest in learning to be higher.

Abstract

One of the consequences of limiting face-to-face learning in the pandemic era is the implementation of distance learning. At the elementary school level, the application of distance learning is carried out in various ways, one of which is by applying online learning. This article aims to analyze how important the role of parents in learning for elementary school-aged children is in the pandemic era. This research method uses a literature study approach. Data was collected by browsing research articles through Google Scholar. The article analyzed is a research article that discusses the involvement of parents in distance learning in the pandemic era. The results of the analysis of various kinds of literature show how important the role of parents in supporting the online learning process is. In online learning, the learning process cannot run optimally without collaboration between teachers and parents. Most of the teacher's tasks in online learning have been taken over by parents. Parents function as facilitators, motivators, and become the main guides in the learning process. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis seberapa penting peran orang tua dalam pembelajaran bagi anak usia sekolah dasar di era pandemi. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan studi literatur. Data dikumpulkan dengan menelusuri artikel penelitian melalui Google Scholar. Artikel yang dianalisis merupakan artikel penelitian yang membahas tentang keterlibatan orang tua dalam pembelajaran jarak jauh di era pandemi. Hasil analisis berbagai literatur menunjukkan betapa pentingnya peran orang tua dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran daring. Dalam pembelajaran daring, proses pembelajaran tidak dapat berjalan maksimal tanpa adanya kerjasama antara guru dan orang tua. Sebagian besar tugas guru dalam pembelajaran daring sudah diambil alih oleh orang tua. Orang tua berfungsi sebagai fasilitator, motivator, dan menjadi pemandu utama dalam proses pembelajaran. Peran lain yang tidak kalah penting dari orang tua adalah sebagai pengawas pembelajaran, melalui pengawasan ini dapat dilakukan pengendalian mutu pembelajaran meskipun terkendala jarak dengan sekolah.Kata kunci: pembelajaran online, kualitas pembelajaran, keterlibatan orang tua

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keterampilan mengajar mahasiswa saat praktik microteaching. Metode yang dipergunakan adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Lokasi penelitian dilakukan di prodi PGSD, FKIP, Universitas Mataram. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa kelas 6I3 prodi PGSD semester VI yang berjumlah 11 orang. Instrumen yang dipergunakan dalam proses pengumpulan data adalah rubrik penilaian dan lembar observasi kegiatan microteaching. Rubrik penilaian microteaching memiliki 8 aspek, antara lain: kemampuan membuka pembelajaran, sikap dalam proses pembelajaran, penguasaan bahan ajar, proses pembelajaran, penggunaan media, evaluasi, kemampuan menutup pembelajaran, dan performance guru. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, mahasiswa kelas 6I3 PGSD, FKIP, Universitas Mataram sudah cukup baik dan siap untuk melanjutkan praktik pemahamannya terhadap kompetensi guru ke tahap selanjutnya yaitu pengenalan lapangan persekolahan (PLP). Mahasiswa juga dinilai akan mampu dihadapkan langsung dengan peserta didik sekolah dasar tentunya masih didampingi oleh guru dan dievaluasi secara ketat. Dari 8 aspek penilaian, kriteria yang masih perlu ditingkatkan lagi adalah kemampuan memberikan evaluasi dan kemampuan menutup pelajaran.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of training in paraphrasing and citation techniques using Mendeley paraphrasing and citation skills for PGSD students, Mataram University. Type of this research is a quantitative research using a pre-experimental design method type one group pretest-posttest. This research is included in the population study because all participants are the research subjects. The instruments used were 10 multiple choice questions and 5 short questions which were used as pretest and posttest questions. The data analysis technique used a normality test as a prerequisite for analysis, paired sample t-test, an effect size test, and an N-Gain test. All data are normally distributed as indicated by the normality test. The paired sample t-test test shows a difference between the pretest and posttest values ​​where the posttest value is higher than the pretest value. Test effect size d = -1.90521 is in the small category because <0.05. This means that training in paraphrasing and citation techniques using Mendeley has little effect on students' ability to paraphrase and cite. N-Gain test with SPSS 18.0, the average N-Gain score was 54.9271 or 55% or included in the less effective category. The conclusion is that training in paraphrasing and citation techniques using Mendeley to avoid plagiarism is less effective in improving paraphrasing and citation skills for 7th-semester students of PGSD, University of Mataram.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility of developing basic social studies concept-oriented problem-based learning materials in the PGSD study program at the University of Mataram. The research method used is the development research method. The development model used is the ADDIE model. The steps for developing the ADDIE model consist of analysis, design, development, and evaluation—data collection using questionnaires and interviews. The study results show that the social studies basic concept teaching materials oriented towards Problem-based learning have met the eligibility elements, both in terms of content feasibility, presentation feasibility, and language eligibility. The average score obtained on the content eligibility aspect is 3.5, the presentation eligibility aspect is 3.4, and the language eligibility aspect is 3.6, with a maximum score of 4.00. Student responses to the teaching materials developed are included in the good category. The aspect of ease of use gets a score of 3.3, the aspect of conformity with needs gets a score of 3.8, and the display aspect gets a score of 3.5 out of a maximum score of 4.00. Based on the results of expert validation tests and user responses, it can be concluded that the developed teaching materials are suitable for use as teaching materials in Elementary Social Science Basic Concepts courses. This teaching material is recommended as the main teaching material in the lecture process so that students get real learning experience, have a good mastery of IPS concepts, and are skilled in solving social problems in the regional and global scope.Bahan ajar memiliki peranan yang sangat penting dalam mendukung kegiatan perkuliahan. Tanpa adanya bahan ajar maka proses perkuliahan dipastikan tidak akan berjalan efektif. Bahan ajar yang digunakan harus disesuaikan dengan model pembelajaran yang terbaru. Salah satu model pembelajaran terbaru yang sedang trend adalah model pembelajaran problem based learning. Pembaharuan bahan ajar menggunakan model pembelajaran terbaru diharapkan dapat memfasilitasi mahasiswa agar dapat belajar sesuai dengan zamannya. Salah satu mata kuliah yang perlu dikembangkan bahan ajarnya adalah mata kuliah Konsep Dasar IPS SD. Mata kuliah ini berisi tentang materi pokok pendidikan IPS yang akan menjadi bekal bagi mahasiswa ketika menjadi guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Bahan Ajar Konsep Dasar IPS SD Berorientasi Problem Based Learning untuk mahasiswa PGSD. Objek kajian dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa PGSD. Lokasi penelitian di Kota Mataram, Nusa Tenggara Barat. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar Konsep dasar IPS yang berorientasi pada Problem based learning telah memenuhi unsur kelayakan, baik dari kelayakan isi, kelayakan penyajian, dan kelayakan dalam aspek bahasa. Bahan ajar ini disarankan untuk digunakan sebagai bahan ajar utama dalam proses perkuliahan agar mahasiswa mendapatkan pengalaman belajar yang nyata, memiliki penguasaan konsep IPS yang baik, dan terampil dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan sosial dalam lingkup regional maupun global
