Abstract

Religious education for Muslims is an Islamic education derived from the Qur'an and the Sunnah. This article examines the dynamics of the transformation and progress of Islamic education after the death of the Prophet Muhammad, specifically the changes in Islamic education during the era of the Rightly Guided Caliphs. It explains how the educational system was implemented in each caliphate and the different situations, as well as the factors underlying the educational systems implemented at that time. The findings of this study indicate that the educational pattern during the era of Caliph Abu Bakr remained generally similar to that of the Prophet Muhammad. The development of Islam progressed rapidly during the era of Caliph Umar ibn al-Khattab, which was succeeded by Caliph Uthman ibn Affan. However, several fundamental changes occurred, particularly in the policies and educational methods used.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan untuk mengembangkan Villa Flamboyan 98 sebagai model akomodasi wisata alam di kawasan Kiarapedes, Purwakarta. Urgensi kegiatan ini muncul dari meningkatnya minat wisatawan terhadap destinasi berbasis alam, sementara pengelolaan villa dan akomodasi serupa di Kiarapedes masih bersifat tradisional, belum menerapkan standar operasional pelayanan, dan belum memanfaatkan pemasaran digital secara optimal. Kondisi tersebut berdampak pada rendahnya daya saing, pengalaman tamu yang belum konsisten, serta belum maksimalnya kontribusi ekonomi pariwisata bagi masyarakat sekitar. Melalui observasi lapangan, wawancara dengan pengelola, serta analisis fasilitas, layanan, dan lingkungan sekitar, kegiatan ini memberikan rekomendasi berupa peningkatan kualitas pelayanan, penyusunan SOP dasar, perbaikan fasilitas pendukung, dan digitalisasi promosi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman pengelola mengenai prinsip manajemen akomodasi yang profesional dan berkelanjutan. Kegiatan ini penting dilakukan untuk mendorong transformasi pengelolaan akomodasi wisata berbasis komunitas sehingga mampu meningkatkan kepuasan tamu, memperluas jangkauan pasar, dan memperkuat posisi Kiarapedes sebagai destinasi wisata alam yang kompetitif dan ramah keluarga. -- This community service activity was carried out to develop Villa Flamboyan 98 as a model of natural tourism accommodation in the Kiarapedes area, Purwakarta. The urgency of this activity arises from the increasing interest of tourists in nature-based destinations, while the management of villas and similar accommodations in Kiarapedes is still traditional, has not implemented service operational standards, and has not made optimal use of digital marketing. This condition has an impact on low competitiveness, inconsistent guest experience, and not yet maximized tourism economic contribution to the surrounding community. Through field observations, interviews with managers, and analysis of facilities, services, and the surrounding environment, this activity provides recommendations in the form of improving service quality, preparing basic SOPs, improving supporting facilities, and digitizing promotions. The results of the activity showed an increase in the manager's understanding of the principles of professional and sustainable accommodation management. This activity is important to encourage the transformation of community-based tourism accommodation management so that it can increase guest satisfaction, expand market reach, and strengthen Kiarapedes' position as a competitive and family-friendly natural tourism destination.

Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan model kebijakan luar negeri Indonesia dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya dalam mendukung kemerdekaan Palestina. Penelitian ini menggunakan model Graham T. Allison sebagai kerangka analisis, dengan penekanan pada proses organisasi, proses rasional, dan politik birokrasi. Data sekunder digunakan sebagai bahan analisis, dan metode kualitatif dalam bentuk studi kasus diterapkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebijakan luar negeri Indonesia terhadap Palestina merupakan bentuk kebijakan luar negeri yang rasional dan telah dijalankan secara konsisten dalam kurun waktu yang cukup lama. Proses organisasi menunjukkan bahwa kemerdekaan Palestina telah menjadi agenda tahunan dan isu prioritas bagi Indonesia. Sementara itu, proses birokrasi menunjukkan tidak adanya tumpang tindih kebijakan, karena semua aktor birokrasi sepakat untuk mempertahankan sikap konsisten Indonesia. Selain itu, faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kebijakan ini termasuk mandat konstitusional, kepedulian terhadap kemanusiaan, dan kedaulatan politik. Dukungan Indonesia dengan demikian tidak hanya sebatas pada pernyataan politik, namun juga mencakup bantuan keuangan bagi rakyat Palestina yang ditindas oleh Zionis Israel.

Abstract

Meningkatnya penggunaan gawai pada anak usia dini di era digital membawa dampak positif sekaligus risiko terhadap perkembangan anak, khususnya terkait kecanduan gawai, paparan konten tidak sesuai usia, serta lemahnya pengawasan aktivitas daring. Kondisi ini menuntut peran aktif orang tua dalam pengasuhan digital sebagai bagian dari upaya perlindungan anak. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi digital orang tua serta membekali mereka dengan keterampilan praktis dalam mengontrol penggunaan gawai anak melalui pemanfaatan aplikasi Google Family Link. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di TKN Pembina Karawang dengan sasaran orang tua/wali murid, menggunakan metode edukatif-partisipatif yang meliputi penyuluhan, pelatihan praktik langsung penggunaan aplikasi parental control, serta evaluasi melalui observasi dan umpan balik peserta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman orang tua mengenai risiko penggunaan gawai pada anak dan pentingnya pengawasan digital sebagai bagian dari perlindungan anak. Selain itu, orang tua mampu menerapkan pengaturan batas waktu layar, pembatasan aplikasi, serta pemantauan aktivitas daring anak secara lebih terstruktur. Kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi edukasi perlindungan anak, peningkatan literasi digital orang tua, dan penerapan teknologi kontrol orang tua dapat menjadi strategi efektif dalam menciptakan pengalaman digital anak yang lebih aman dan sehat.

Abstract

This study examines the resurgence of non-formal Islamic educational institutions rooted in Sufi orders (tarekat) in Indonesia, a phenomenon closely linked to the growing spiritual needs of modern society. Rapid modernization, psychological pressure, and increasing mental health challenges have resulted in a renewed search for spiritual guidance, making tarekat-based education an attractive alternative to formal schooling. The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors driving the revival of tarekat institutions, the transformations occurring within their educational practices, and their relevance to character education in contemporary contexts. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through participant observations of ritual and educational activities such as dhikr gatherings, suluk, halaqah sessions, and kitab studies; in-depth interviews with mursyid, teachers, senior disciples, and community members; and documentation of institutional records. Data were analyzed through interactive stages of reduction, display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that tarekat institutions have evolved into structured centers of non-formal education that integrate cognitive, affective, and psychomotor learning. They provide holistic character formation, foster social cohesion, strengthen moral-spiritual development, and adapt effectively to digital technology for wider outreach. Furthermore, various case studies indicate increasing public participation in tarekat activities, particularly among youth. The study concludes that tarekat- based education remains highly relevant for strengthening spirituality, promoting moderate Islamic values, and enhancing character education in modern Indonesian society.

Abstract

The transformation of Islamic education from the nineteenth to the early twentieth century marked a crucial phase in the intellectual and institutional development of the Muslim world. This period was characterized by a dialectical encounter between the preservation of classical Islamic traditions and the growing demand for educational modernization in response to colonial expansion, scientific progress, and global intellectual reform movements. This study aims to analyze the dynamics of Islamic educational transformation through the interaction between traditional values and modern educational ideas in both the broader Muslim world and Indonesia. This research employs a qualitative historical approach based on library research, utilizing primary and secondary scholarly sources relevant to the period under study. The findings reveal that Islamic educational reform was significantly influenced by major reformist figures such as Jamal al-Din al-Afghani, Muhammad Abduh, and Muhammad Rashid Rida, whose ideas later shaped the development of Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia, including pesantren and madrasah systems. The study contributes to the discourse on Islamic studies by demonstrating that the transformation of Islamic education was not merely a process of Westernization, but rather a negotiated synthesis between tradition and modernity that continues to influence contemporary Islamic education.

Abstract

This article aims to analyse the reconstruction of English-language learning in madrasas through the Love-Based Curriculum in response to the need for the integration of global competency and the formation of a religious-humanist character. This article uses a qualitative method with a library study design and document analysis. Data were obtained from policy documents, journal articles, scientific proceedings, and academic literature relevant to the Love-Based Curriculum, English language learning, madrasa education, humanistic pedagogy, and value integration in language learning. The results show that the reconstruction of English language learning in madrasas includes five main aspects, namely a shift in orientation from linguistic-instrumental to communicative-humanistic, integration of the Panca Cinta values ​​in learning design, implementation of value insertion strategies, strengthening in-depth learning, and developing affective-communicative evaluation. The findings also indicate that the Love-Based Curriculum has the potential to make English a medium for strengthening empathy, tolerance, communication etiquette, environmental awareness, and national identity. However, its implementation requires teacher readiness, contextual teaching modules, a supportive madrasa culture, and assessment instruments that not only measure language competence, but also the communicative character of students.

Abstract

This article analyzes the paradox of Suggestopedia in Arabic language learning, between claims of hypermnesia and classroom reality. This article uses a qualitative method with a library study design. Data were obtained from journal articles, language learning methodology books, previous research results, and scientific documents discussing Suggestopedia, Arabic language learning, affective aspects, and the challenges of implementing humanistic methods. The analysis was conducted through data reduction, thematic categorization, interpretive reading, and context synthesis. The results show that Suggestopedia has an important contribution in creating a relaxed, humanistic Arabic language learning process, focused on reducing anxiety. This method has the potential to increase student participation, psychological comfort, vocabulary mastery, and language confidence. However, the claim of hypermnesia cannot be accepted absolutely because its effectiveness depends on teacher readiness, classroom facilities, student-to-student ratio, material design, and learning culture. This article concludes that Suggestopedia is more appropriately positioned as a psychopedagogical support approach than a single method. Repositioning it through a hybrid model with a communicative approach, contextual structure training, and digital media is a more realistic alternative for contemporary Arabic language learning..

Abstract

This article examines the reconstruction of Arabic language curricula in madrasahs and Islamic higher education institutions in the era of Kurikulum Merdeka. The study uses a qualitative approach with a library research design, focusing on the analysis of curriculum policy documents, methodological references, curriculum theories, and previous studies related to Arabic language education, Kurikulum Merdeka, outcome-based education, and curriculum alignment. The analysis was conducted through document review, thematic categorization, interpretive reading, and conceptual synthesis. The findings show that Arabic language curriculum policies at the madrasah level have provided a foundation for flexible, contextual, and competency-based learning. At the same time, higher education curriculum policies require study programs to develop curricula based on graduate learning outcomes, graduate profiles, scientific development, and societal needs. However, the study finds that the articulation between Arabic learning outcomes in madrasahs and graduate competencies in Islamic higher education remains insufficiently systematic. The article proposes that Arabic curriculum reconstruction should be developed through three main axes: continuity, relevance, and measurability. These axes can be operationalized through cross-level learning outcome mapping, spiral-integrative curriculum design, differentiated learning pathways, digital and intercultural competency integration, and performance-based assessment. The study contributes a conceptual framework for strengthening Arabic curriculum continuity between madrasahs and Islamic higher education institutions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis rasionalitas mahasiswa dalam menanggapi promo diskon di platform e-commerce. Perkembangan e-commerce ditandai dengan intensitas promosi digital yang tinggi, seperti diskon harga, gratis ongkos kirim, cashback, dan penawaran berbatas waktu, yang berpotensi memengaruhi proses pengambilan keputusan konsumen. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekata deskriptif untuk memahami bagaimana mahasiswa menimbang kebutuhan, manfaat, dan informasi promosi dalam kondisi keterbatasan informasi, waktu, dan kapasitas kognitif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi, dengan keabsahan data dijamin melalui teknik triangulasi. Hasil penelitian diharapkan mampu memberikan pemahaman mengenai bagaimana rasionalitas konsumen dibentuk dan dinegosiasikan di tengah tekanan promosi digital, serta memberikan kontribusi teoretis bagi kajian komunikasi pemasaran dan perilaku konsumen di era e-commerce.
