Abstract

Amidst the dynamic and intense global manufacturing industry competition in Batam, high-performing human resources are a primary strategic asset for organizational sustainability. This study aims to analyze the influence of transformational leadership, organizational culture, and career development as crucial factors in optimizing employee performance. The object of this study is PT. Satnusa Persada Tbk, a leading electronics company in Batam. This research employs a quantitative approach with an explanatory research type. Data collection was conducted through the distribution of questionnaires to [Insert Sample Size] employees who served as research respondents. The collected data were analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method with AMOS software. The results indicate that transformational leadership, organizational culture, and career development partially have a positive and significant influence on employee performance. These findings imply that to achieve optimal performance sustainably, company management needs to implement an integrative approach that combines inspirational leadership styles, the internalization of strong cultural values, and the provision of clear career development paths for its employees

Abstract

Rendahnya kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika konvensional menuntut penerapan model pembelajaran yang lebih efektif untuk meningkatkan kualitas proses dan hasil belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa SMP Negeri 18 Barru. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan menggunakan non-randomized pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 18 Barru yang berjumlah 147 siswa. Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling dan diperoleh kelas VII.1 (22 orang) sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VII.4 (24 orang) sebagai kelas kontrol. Perlakuan yang diberikan pada kelas eksperimen adalah pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dengan scaffolding dan kelas kontrol menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial. Analisis statistik deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata posttest siswa kelas eksperimen adalah 81,1 dalam kategori tinggi dengan peningkatan nilai rata-rata sebesar 0,8 dalam kategori tinggi serta mencapai 86% siswa tuntas secara klasikal, sedangkan nilai rata-rata posttest siswa kelas kontrol adalah 68,5 dalam kategori cukup dengan peningkatan nilai rata-rata sebesar 0,6 dalam kategori sedang. Hasil analisis statistik inferensial untuk dua hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran kooperatif STAD dengan scaffolding efektif secara signifikan terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 18 Barru.

Abstract

Kajian ini merupakan penelitian kuasi eksperimen yang bertujuan untuk membandingkan pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif STAD berbantuan Quizizz paper mode dengan pembelajaran kooperatif TPS berbantuan Quizizz paper mode terhadap hasil belajar matematika. Hasil kajian ini memberikan dukungan empiris untuk menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif yang lebih baik saat menggunakan media pembelajaran Quizziz paper mode. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMPN 9 Makassar sebanyak 324 siswa. Dengan teknik cluster random sampling, terpilih kelas VIII.G (kelas eksperimen 1) dan kelas VIII.I (kelas eksperimen 2). Perlakuan yang diberikan pada kelas VIII.G 1 adalah pembelajaran kooperatif STAD dengan berbantuan Quizizz paper mode dan kelas VIII.I adalah pembelajaran kooperatif TPS dengan berbantuan Quizizz paper mode. Data hasil penelitian diolah dengan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil analisis statistik deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa: (1) skor rata-rata posttest hasil belajar matematika siswa pada kelas eksperimen 1 adalah 83,5 (kategori tinggi), dengan rata-rata N-Gain sebesar 0,76 (kategori tinggi), serta tingkat ketuntasan klasikal mencapai 85%; (2) skor rata-rata posttest hasil belajar matematika siswa pada kelas eksperimen 2 adalah 79,8 (kategori tinggi), dengan rata-rata N-Gain sebesar 0,69 (sedang), serta tingkat ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 77%. Hasil analisis inferensial menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar matematika siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif STAD berbantuan Quizizz paper mode secara signifikan lebih tinggi dari hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif TPS. Kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam pembelajaran yang menggunakan media Quizizz paper mode, penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif STAD memberikan pengaruh yang lebih baik daripada pembelajaran kooperatitf TPS terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Work Discipline, Competence, and Reward on Employee Performance at Bank BCA KFPT Batam. This research employs a quantitative method with an associative approach. The population consisted of 198 employees, and the sample was determined using the Slovin formula with a 10% margin of error, resulting in 66 respondents. The sampling technique used was Simple Random Sampling. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS software.The validity test results indicated that all questionnaire items were valid, with r-count values greater than 0.244 and significance values less than 0.05. The reliability test showed that all variables were reliable, with Cronbach's Alpha values greater than 0.60 (Work Discipline = 0.876; Competence = 0.859; Reward= 0.827; Employee Performance = 0.873). The classical assumption tests demonstrated that the data were normally distributed (Sig. 0.078 > 0.05), with no multicollinearity (Tolerance > 0.10 and VIF < 10) and no heteroscedasticity.Simultaneously, Work Discipline, Competence, and Reward had a significant effect on Employee Performance, with an F-value of 29.703 > 2.75 and a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. The coefficient of determination (R²) was 0.590, indicating that 59.0% of the variation in Employee Performance could be explained by the three independent variables, while the remaining 41.0% was influenced by other factors not examined in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Service Delivery Speed, Service Officers' Competence, and Quality of Facilities and Infrastructure on Community Satisfaction at the Belian Village Office, Batam Kota District, Batam City. This research employed a quantitative method with a sample of 100 respondents determined using the Slovin formula and Simple Random Sampling technique. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS.The validity test results indicate that all items are valid (r-count > 0.197; sig < 0.05) and reliable with Cronbach's Alpha > 0.60 (X₁ = 0.916; Simultaneously, the three variables have a significant effect on Community Satisfaction with an F-value of 36.663 > 2.61 and a significance of 0.000 < 0.05, and an R² value of 0.534, meaning that 53.4% ​​of the variation in community satisfaction can be explained by the research model. Partially, Service Delivery Speed ​​(t = 2.253; sig 0.026), Service Officers' Competence (t = 10.349; sig 0.000), and Quality of Facilities and Infrastructure (t = 3.761; sig 0.000) have a positive and significant effect on Community Satisfaction. The most dominant variable is Service Officers' Competence (Beta = 0.785).

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of Human Resource Competence, Budget Planning, and Budget Implementation on Budget Absorption of Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) in the Batam City Government. This study was conducted at OPDs of the Batam City Government with a total of 89 respondents. The variables used in this study consist of Human Resource Competence (X1), Budget Planning (X2), Budget Implementation (X3), and Budget Absorption (Y).The data analysis methods used were simple linear regression and multiple linear regression to determine the relationship and influence between the independent variables on the dependent variable. Hypothesis testing was conducted using the t-test (partial), F-test (simultaneous), and coefficient of determination (R²) test. Data processing was performed using SPSS statistical software.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of Digital Competence, Innovation and Technological Support on Performance atTanjungpinang City Culture and Tourism Office. The population in this study amounted to 80 respondents, using a saturated sampling technique so that the entire population became a sample, namely 80 respondents. The sampling technique was carried out with a saturated sample. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to respondents. The collected data were processed using SPSS software. The results of the study show that partially, Digital Competence has a significant effect on employee performance with a significance value of <0.001 (<0.05), Innovation has a significant effect on employee performance with a significance value of 0.002 (<0.05), and technological support has a significant effect on employee performance with a significance value of 0.004 (<0.05). Simultaneously, digital competence, innovation and technological support have a significant effect on employee performance with a significance value of 0.001 (<0.05).
