Abstract

Abstract: This study was aimed to determine the influence of cooperative model somatic auditory visual intellectual type toward the level of students’ formal thinking ability on physics learning at x class of SMA N 1 Kubu Rokan Hilir. The type of this study was quasi experiment with intact group comparison design. The population in this study consisted of 3 classes. 2 classes was chosen as the sample of study based on normality and homogeneity test. They were acted as experiment and control classes the data collection was done by giving formal thinking ability test. The data was analyze by descriptive and inferential analysis. The result showed that there was a significant difference toward students’ formal thinking ability between class experiment which was used cooperative model somatic auditory visual intellectual type and control class which used convention learning. Students’ formal thonking ability at the experimental class was higher than the control class. It can be concludet that the cooperative model somatic auditory visual intellectual type has a positive influence toward students’ formal thinking ability.Key Words: Cooperative Model Somatic Auditory Visual Intellectual, Formal Thinking Ability,Temperature And Heat

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to design and produce physics learning media usingthe Articulate Storyline 3 application on Newton's law material for valid class X. Theresearch method used is research and development or Research and Development withthe ADDIE development model. The ADDIE stage was carried out in Analysis, Design,and Development. Media validation is seen from 5 aspects, namely the subject matteraspect to see the suitability of the material with the initial purpose of making theprogram, the auxiliary information aspect to see any additional information that is notdirectly related to the material, the interface aspect to see the product display, thenavigation aspect to see the consistency of the navigation used and the pedagogy aspectto see the suitability of the competencies used. The results showed that the physicslearning media using the Articulate Storyline 3 application on Newton's law materialfor classes was valid.Key Words: Articulate Storyline 3, Learning Media, Newton’s Law

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the discipline of student learning by applying thecooperative learning model of the trio unit type duel team games tournament(TUDTGT) to earth subject. This type of research is descriptive research. The subjectsin this study were students of class X.MO 2, totals are 33 students. Data collectingtechniques in this study such as observations with data collection research instrumentsare the form of observation rubrics and observation tables. Data analysis of the resultsof the study was descriptive data analysis and data analysis of student learningdiscipline. The results showed students’ learn discipline of class X.MO 2 SMK TarunaSatria Pekanbaru by applying Cooperative Learning Model Trio Unit Duel TeamGames Tournament Type (TUDTGT) on earth subject reaches 81% of the averagepercentage of ideal criteria. Abstract

Abstract: Learning devices based on the 6E learning cycle model are a series of processes or activities carried out to produce a medium or means used and prepared by the teacher in the learning process. The learning tools developed are Learning Implementation Plans (RPP), Student Worksheets (LKPD), and learning outcomes tests.The main objective of this study is to develop RPP learning tools, LKPD and learning outcomes tests based on the 6E learning cycle model on the material of vibrations and waves of SMP. The development of this learning tool uses the method of research and development of research and development (R&D) In this research the validation stage is conducted by 3 validator lecturers. Data analysis on using descriptive analysis by calculating the index of each indikator used to determine the validity of the RPP, LKPD and learning outcomes tests developed. The results of this study obtained an average RPP validity of 3,54 with a very high category and declared valid, the average validity of LKPD is 3,40 with a very high category and declared valid, the average validity of learning outcomes tests is 3,52 with very high category and declared valid. So as a whole the average validity of learning devices (RPP, LKPD, and test results of learning) based on the learning cycle 6E model developed on the material of vibrations and waves of junior high schools obtained an average value of 3,49 with a high category and was declared valid and feasible to use as teaching materials in schools to support the teaching and learning process so that it becomes better.Key Words: Learning Devices (RPP, LKPD, and learning outcomes test), learning cycle 6E, vibration and waves

Abstract

Abstract: This purpose of the research is to know the tier of student misconception in elasticity material and Hooke law. The research is done in SMAN Tampan Pekanbaru which consisted of SMAN 12 Pekanbaru and SMAN 15 Pekanbaru with a total subject of 70 students. This research is a survey research. The research design is carried out by taking information or data directly of the sample. Data collecting was done by test method, which is a four-tier diagnostic test. The first tier, students must answer the multiple choice questions that have been provided totaling 28 questions. The second tier, students must include the tier of confidence in answering the question. The third tier, students must choose the right reasons or write their own reasons in answering the questions. The fourth tier, students must include the tier of confidence in determining the reason. Data analysis was done descriptively. The result is showing the average pescentage of student misconception in indicator 1 was 31% (medium), on the indicator 2 was 43% (medium), on indicator 3 was 47% (medium), on indicator 4 was 51% (medium), on indicator 5 was 57% (medium) and on indicator 6 was 33% (medium). With thus it can be concluded that the tier of misconception of SMAN students Tampan Pekanbaru is in the medium category with an average percentage of 44%.Key Words: Misconception, Four-Tier Diagnostic Test, Elastisity And Hooke Law

Abstract

Abstract: Education is needed to create a characterable and intlligent generation who able to develop their potentials independently. The use of teaching materials in the form of LKPD on the learning process can realize the meaning of education. LKPD is demanded by 2013 Curriculum lesson charges comprehensif intelligence which contains spiritual, emotional-social, intellectual and skill intelligence. Comprehensive intelligence LKPD based on PBL model has been developed by previous researchers but has not been tested its effectiveness, so this study aims to describe the effectivity of LKPD and to know the difference of student learning result using LKPD with comprehensive intelligence and unemployed. This type of research was quasi experiment with Intact Group Comparison design which is consisting of two study classes, experiment class and control class. The population of this research was all students of grade 10th MIPA in SMA N 5 Pekanbaru academic year 2017/2018, where class 10th MIPA 6 (experiment class) and class X MIPA 2 (control class) as samples. The data were obtained in the form of competence value of spiritual, emotional-social, intellectual and skill. The instruments used in this study were syllabus, RPP, LKPD charged with comprehensive intelligent based on PBL model, spiritual and emotional-social observation sheets, skill performance sheets, and cognitive tests. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively for the four intelligences and analyzed inferentially only on intellectual intelligence by using hypothesis test on 5% significance level. The results of this study are 1) LKPD charged with comprehensive intelligence based on PBL model is effective for physics learning of grade 10th in SMA Negeri 5 Pekanbaru especially particle dynamics; 2) there is significant difference in student learning outcomes using LKPD charged with comprehensive intelligence based on PBL model with students who do not use the LKPD.Keywords : Comprehensive Intelligence, Competence, Student Worksheet, Problem Based Learning

Abstract

Abstract: The developed Instructional tools used cooperative-based model with Guided Inquiry-learning which implemented in Physics material of Momentum and Impluses for the first year students of SMA, consisting of Lesson Plan (RPP), Students’ Worksheet (LKPD), and scientific questionnaires. The purpose of this study is to find out students’ scientific attitude and the type of this research is pre-experiment research of One Group Pretest-Posttest Design, the data used in this study was the data from students’ scientific attitude during the learning process. The instrument used in this study was the questionnaires of students’ scientific attitude. The questionnaires of scientific attitude was adapted from the questionnaires which developed by Afrianti (2016). Based on the results of a descriptive analysis which obtained from the students’ scientific scores that assessed from every scientific aspects which consist of curiousity, open mind, critical thinking and honesty. From the result, it can be seen that each indicator of scientific attitudes is increasing after the application of Guided Inquiry -learning in Momentum and Impulses material. With the increased of scientific attitudes, the students’ average scientific scores are also increased. In the early scientific attitude, the average score was 2.46 in low category and increased to 1.11 points on the final scientific attitude with an average score 3.56 in high category. Therefore, the Instructional Tools which developed by using Guided Inquiry-learning are able to enhance students’ scientific attitude.Key Words: Students’ Scientific Attitude, Guided Inquiry, Momentum impulses

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the understanding of students' concepts and to know the difference in understanding of the concepts of class VIII students at SMPN 3 Pekanbaru with the application of the Teaching With Analogie (TWA) learning model and conventional learning on pressure material. This type of research is true experimental design with a posttest control only design. The research sample was the students class VIII of SMPN 3 Pekanbaru in academic year 2018/2019 which amounted to 43 students. The data of this study are data on students' understanding of concepts consisting of post-test scores through the application of TWA learning. Data were analyzed descriptively by looking at the percentage of conceptual understanding and inferentially analyzed using the T-test. Descriptive analysis results obtained, understanding the concept of experimental class students is higher than the understanding of the control class concept with an average score of conceptual understanding of experimental class students 73.69 including the moderate category and the concept of control class control scores 47.41 with very low categories . Based on the results of inferential analysis using the T-test , the significant value is 0,000 <0,05 so that it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between students' understanding of the concept after applying the TWA learning model and conventional learning.Key Words: TWA Model, Concept Understanding, Pressure

Abstract

Abstract: The research aimed to determine the differences of students argumentation skills the Peer Instruction Integrated Guided Inquiry Learning model and conventional learning on physics material vibration and wave of class VIII material in SMPN 3 Pekanbaru. The kind of research use is quasi-experimental with Posttest Only Control Design. The subject of study is learners class VIII SMPN 3 Pekanbaru academic year 2018 /2019, consisting of class VIII.5 as a class the experiments were 36 students and class VIII.4 as a class control by 36 students. Research instruments used is about a test argumentation skills. Engineering data collection in this research by giving a test argumentation skills after learning held on second class. The Data is analysed in descriptive to see the results of the percentage on argumentation skills and analysed in inferential using the Ttest. The result showed that there are significant differences between argumentation skills of students on a peer instruction integrated guided inquiry learning model applies with class conventional who apply the vibration and waves to the matter argumentation skills of class experiment score of average higher than class control. Based on the research so that it can be concluded that peer instruction integrated guided inquiry learning model to argumentation skills of students to the matter the sound waves class VIII SMPN 3 Pekanbaru.Key Words:Argumentation Skills,Peer Instruction, Guided Inquiry,Vibration and Wave.

Abstract

Abstract : This research aims to improve the learning outcomes of students of class X MIA SMA N 1 Mandah with the application of scientific approach slammed media application Articulate Storyline 3, and to find out the difference between the results of learning physics of class students who apply scientific approach slammed media application articulate storyline 3 with conventional classes. This type of research is quantitative using quasi experiment methods, and the design used is pretest-posttest control group design. The sample in the study was 56 students, 28 students of class X MIA 1 and 28 students of class X MIA 2. Data analysis is done with descriptive analysis as well as inferential analysis using parametric statistics. The results of this study showed the results of learning physics students with the application of scientific approaches assisted by articulate storyline application media 3 with an average score of 74.88 higher than the results of learning physics with conventional learning with a score of 74.88 higher than the results of studying physics with conventional learning with a score of 74.88 physics.Key Word : Learning Media, Articulacate Storyline 3, Newton's Law
