Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of product availability, service quality, and promotion on the purchasing decisions of Alfagift app users in Parepare City with Islamic lifestyle as a moderating variable. The study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method on 125 housewives selected through purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) through SmartPLS. The outer model test results showed that all indicators met the validity and reliability criteria with factor loading values > 0.70, AVE > 0.50, and Composite Reliability > 0.70. The inner model test produced an R² value of 0.780, indicating the model's strong explanatory power. The hypothesis test results prove that product availability (β = 0.515), service quality (β = 0.383), and promotion (β = 0.445) have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. In addition, Islamic lifestyle has a significant effect and is able to positively moderate the influence of these three variables on purchasing decisions, thereby strengthening the role of religious values in digital consumption behavior.

Abstract

The rapid expansion of Islamic finance has intensified scrutiny of how religious authority is institutionalized within modern regulatory systems, particularly in Indonesia where fatwas issued by the Dewan Syariah Nasional – Majelis Ulama Indonesia (National Sharia Board - Indonesian Council of Ulama) become binding only after incorporation into regulations issued by the Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) or Financial Services Authority. This study aims to re-evaluate Indonesia’s Islamic banking fatwa framework by examining its institutional translation mechanisms, degree of alignment with international standards issued by the Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions and the Islamic Financial Services Board, and its impact on substantive maqasid realization. Using a qualitative institutional-regulatory design, the research analyzes 42 DSN-MUI fatwas, 27 OJK regulations, 18 AAOIFI standards, 12 IFSB standards, and Islamic banking portfolio data from 2015 to 2024. The findings indicate that Indonesia’s hybrid model ensures procedural legal certainty and structured fatwa-to-regulation incorporation but exhibits only partial global harmonization and a persistent dominance of debt-based contracts, reflecting a gap between formal compliance and outcome-based governance. Theoretically, the study introduces the concept of regulatory theology to explain how religious interpretation becomes embedded within the regulatory state, extending norm diffusion theory by incorporating epistemic sovereignty as a mediating variable. Practically, the research recommends stronger institutional independence, clearer codification, measurable maqasid performance indicators, and phased harmonization strategies. The originality of this study lies in reframing Islamic banking fatwa analysis from doctrinal validity toward governance-centered institutional performance grounded in empirical regulatory and portfolio evidence

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of fifth-grade students in science learning, which is caused by the continued use of lecture-based learning models. This makes learning less effective and causes students to experience boredom during learning activities. This research aims to determine the increase in creativity and learning outcomes of fifth-grade students using the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model in Science subject matter, specifically the topic “How is the Shape of My Indonesia” at SD Negeri Ladang Tengah 1, Tapanuli Tengah Regency, North Sumatra. The data analysis technique used is interaction with a classroom action research (PTK) approach, which is carried out in two cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. Data collection techniques used include tests, non-tests, and observation. The subjects in this study were 118 fifth-grade students, consisting of 58 males and 66 females. The learning outcomes in cycle I increased from an initial score of 76.88 to 77.72 in the first meeting of cycle I, reaching 82.30 in the second meeting of cycle I, and 90. In cycle II, with a completeness level of 91.5, categorized as very practical. In addition, the Project-Based Learning model has also proven effective in improving student learning outcomes in the material “How is the Shape of My Indonesia.” Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the Project-Based Learning model in Science learning in fifth grade of Elementary School is declared valid, practical, and effective for use in the learning process.
