Abstract

This study examines the influence of regional languages on the use of Indonesian among elementary school students. The background of this research is the strong dominance of regional languages as students’ first language, which often affects their use of Indonesian as a second language in formal learning contexts. This study aims to analyze the forms of interference and identify the factors influencing students’ language use. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach using a literature study method, which involves analyzing and synthesizing relevant sources such as journals, books, and official documents. The findings indicate that regional languages significantly affect students’ Indonesian usage in several linguistic aspects, including phonology, morphology, syntax, and vocabulary. Common forms of interference include code-mixing, inaccurate sentence structures, and pronunciation influenced by regional accents. However, regional languages also play a positive role as a bridge in understanding learning materials, especially at the early stages of education. Therefore, balanced language management is needed in the learning process. Teachers play a crucial role in guiding students to use Indonesian properly while still appreciating their regional language as part of cultural identity. This study highlights the importance of contextual and bilingual learning strategies to support students’ language development effectively.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how well students understand digital Zakat, Infaq, and Sedekah (charity), and their interest in using crowdfunding platforms. The approach used was quantitative, using a survey to examine the relationship between variables. The study population was active students of the Faculty of Economics and Business at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, with a sample of 53 respondents obtained through convenience sampling. Data were collected using a Likert-based questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive statistics and the Pearson Product Moment correlation test. The results indicate that students have a good understanding of the basic concepts of ZIS (Zanzibar Islamic Fund), particularly the obligation to donate zakat and its positive impact on society. However, there is still a gap between what they learn in theory and what they do in practice, particularly regarding zakat calculation and understanding how digital platforms work. Regarding digital literacy, students are aware of the existence of digital ZIS, but their knowledge and understanding of the platform are still limited. Currently, students have not used digital platforms extensively, but they are very interested in using them. This study concludes that students do not fully understand how to use digital ZIS according to their knowledge and interests. Therefore, to truly enhance the use of digital ZIS in Islam, it is necessary to improve practical skills, enhance technology-focused learning, and build greater trust in digital platforms to fully unlock the potential of Islamic philanthropy in the digital age. Keywords: Digital ZIS, Crowdfunding, Digital Literacy, Interest in Use, Students.   Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa baik mahasiswa dalam memahami Zakat, Infaq, dan Sedekah secara digital, serta seberapa besar minat mereka dalam menggunakan platform crowdfunding. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif, menggunakan survei yang melihat hubungan antar variabel. Populasi penelitian adalah mahasiswa aktif Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, dengan sampel sebanyak 53 responden yang diperoleh melalui teknik convenience sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner berbasis skala Likert dan dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif serta uji korelasi Pearson Product Moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa memahami dengan baik konsep dasar ZIS, khususnya kewajiban menyumbang zakat dan dampak positifnya bagi masyarakat. Namun, masih terdapat kesenjangan antara apa yang dipelajari secara teori dan apa yang dilakukan dalam praktik, terutama dalam hal penghitungan zakat dan pemahaman cara kerja platform digital. Terkait literasi digital, mahasiswa sudah mengetahui keberadaan ZIS digital, namun pengetahuan dan pemahaman mereka terhadap platform tersebut masih terbatas. Saat ini, mahasiswa belum terlalu banyak menggunakan platform digital, namun mereka sangat tertarik untuk menggunakannya. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa mahasiswa belum begitu memahami bagaimana menggunakan ZIS digital sesuai dengan pengetahuan dan minat mereka. Oleh karena itu, untuk benar-benar meningkatkan penggunaan ZIS digital dalam Islam, perlu untuk meningkatkan keterampilan praktis, meningkatkan pembelajaran yang berfokus pada teknologi, dan membangun lebih banyak kepercayaan pada platform digital untuk sepenuhnya membuka potensi filantropi islam di era digital.
