Abstract

Knowledge about damage that often occurs to computer processors and how to handle this damage with experts is very important. The method used in this research is a literature study with descriptive explanations, where the author looks for as many references as possible regarding problems that often occur, especially computer processor damage and how to overcome them. The research results show that the dual-core capabilities of the processor can be utilized as optimally as possible by managing the use of processor resources by server applications that run simultaneously on the server computer, and also ensuring that the applications being run can work well. Damage that often occurs in computer software is generally related to problems with the operating system, applications or files used. Therefore, an expert system is a computer system designed to imitate human abilities in diagnosing problems or providing solutions based on their knowledge and experience in the context of computer processor failure..

Abstract

The application of TCP/IP over fiber optic networks with mesh topology has become an interesting topic in the development of modern network infrastructure. This research aims to explore and apply the basic concepts of TCP/IP via fiber optic technology using a mesh topology in the Cisco Packet Tracer simulation. This research method involves building a virtual computer network consisting of several nodes connected via fiber optic cables. The aim of this research is to understand the reliability, efficiency and performance of networks implemented through fiber optic technology and mesh topology. In the initial stage, a literature study was carried out to understand the basic principles of TCP/IP, fiber optic technology, and mesh topology. Next, using Cisco Packet Tracer, a virtual computer network is built using appropriate hardware and software to simulate a fiber optic-based network with a mesh topology. Experiments were conducted to test network performance in terms of data transfer speed, latency, and connection reliability. Experimental results show that the application of TCP/IP over a fiber optic network with a mesh topology is able to provide reliable and efficient performance. The main advantages of using fiber optic technology are high data transfer speeds and better connection reliability compared to other transmission media. In addition, mesh topology provides high flexibility and redundancy in the network, thereby increasing failure tolerance and increasing network scalability.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the performance of TCP and UDP protocols using Cisco Packet Tracer in a ring network topology. This simulation examines parameters such as latency, throughput, and packet loss for both protocols, and compares their effectiveness in different network scenarios. Simulation results show significant performance differences between TCP and UDP in a ring topology, with TCP showing higher reliability while UDP offers higher speed.

Abstract

Seiring dengan pesatnya perkembangan pendidikan, dan tuntutan mengikuti perkembangan teknologi, maka sekolah perlu untuk terus berinovasi dalam meningkatkan pelayanan serta interaksi yang lebih komprehensif dengan wali siswa pada khususnya dan masyarakat pada umumnya. Berangkat dari kebutuhan tersebut, sekolah perlu mempunyai media yang bisa digunakan sebagai sarana interaksi antara pihak sekolah dengan masyarakat dan sebagai sarana eksistensi sekolah di dunia maya. Sistem informasi sekolah sekarang ini sedang menjadi tren di dunia pendidikan dan sistem informasi sekolah mendapatkan perhatian, tanggapan yang sangat bagus dari berbagai pihak baik itu dari tenaga kependidikan, siswa dan juga masyarakat serta keberadaan sistem informasi sekolah pada saat ini memang sangat penting.

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology is increasing rapidly from year to year, especially in the field of telecommunications. Communication technology via fiber optic is one of the technologies that is widely used as a data sender, between senders and receivers in one network, users can communicate with each other at very high speeds. This is in line with the community's need for fast communication services. FTTH (Fiber To The Home) is a telecommunications service infrastructure that supports transmission on large bandwidths and can solve bandwidth access problems so that PT. Telkom designs fiber to the home network access using GPON technology by determining its usage.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the performance of the OSPF routing protocol in a tree topology using the Cisco Packet Tracer simulator with a router configuration, and a PC/computer. This research involves building a tree topology consisting of several router nodes and PC/computers, where OSPF is implemented to manage routing. Tests were conducted using steady ping on PC to PC, PC to router and PC to server to measure network performance in terms of latency and reliability. The test data was analyzed to evaluate OSPF convergence, network stability and rounting efficiency. The results of this study provide insight into the effectiveness of OSPF in a tree topology.

Abstract

Shifting table (manipulator) terletak pada setiap stand, dari stand 1 sampai dengan stand 5 yang berfungsi sebagai pengatur dan penyearah posisi baja untuk masuk kedalam area cooling bed serta kemudian langsung diarahkan kebagian produksi. Pada shifting table (manipulator) dibutuhkan sistem kendali otomatis menggunakan Programmable Logic Controller, secara jenisnya PLC yang digunakan pada sistem kendali tersebut yaitu Siemens S7-1500. Dengan metode observasi (pengamatan) dilapangan terhadap semua peralatan yang dikerjakan dan dengan metode literatur dapat diketahui sistem kendali dari manipulator. Dari hasil penelitian manipulator dapat diketahui pengendalian ini bertujuan untuk mengaktifkan shifting table (manipulator) supaya dapat bekerja secara otomatis kemudian digunakan untuk mengetahui ukuran baja yang akan diarahkan ke tahapan selanjutnya sampai dengan tahap produksi (finishing) dan akan ditampilkan pada layar monitor di HMI (Human Machine Interface).

Abstract

Optical Transfer Network (OTN), one of the network topologies that can be taken is switching. Researchers on this occasion tried to plan a simulation on the Cisco Packet Tracer 8.2.1 application. This study aims to connect 1 router, 2 PCs and 2 laptops with optical fiber using optical Transfer Network (OTN). The method used is qualitative with data collection techniques in the form of literature studies and making a simulation on the Cisco Packet Tracer 8.2.1 application.

Abstract

In the construction of a building, it is necessary to install a good electrical installation and calculate the required electrical power to be used because this is the initial foundation for building operation so that it can be used by building users. used is still within normal limits or not. The method used by researchers is qualitative with data collection techniques from literature studies and observations. In the findings of the researchers' observations, the results obtained that the electricity demand for the CC FKIP UNTIRTA building is still within normal limits because its use is in accordance with the needs of each room.

Abstract

The development of Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) technology in optical networks driven by the need for very large transmission capacities has resulted in rapid changes in the provision of large bandwidth capacities in networks. This canal transport system in the wavelength domain provides high flexibility for network operators in meeting current and future needs.
