Abstract

This research analyzed multicultural-based social interactions at a private High School on cultural and religious backgrounds and aimed to understand the patterns of social interaction in a multicultural educational environment. It was a mixed method study, where the informant selection technique was carried out by using a purposive sampling method, while data were collected through interviews, observation, and document analysis. The research results highlighted on the success of multicultural education in creating an inclusive environment. The implications of these findings support the development of broader educational programs to increase positive social interactions in multicultural schools. This research contributes to a practical understanding of multicultural education strategies that can be applied in Indonesian education.

Abstract

The conflict resolution e-module for KD is the relevance of applying the values of Pancasila in analyzing cases of violations and denial of the rights and obligations of citizens, in the subject of ENGLISH Students at Program Intensive Course at SMA class XII semester 1, serves as a practical learning medium for high school students to be able to understand and resolve conflicts. This study aims to assist students in recognizing various cases of violations and denial of the rights and obligations of citizens so that awareness of their rights and obligations as citizens can grow, with the hope of becoming good citizens who can avoid or manage conflicts well. This research is deliberately and systematically aimed or directed to be able to find or formulate products, models, media, methods, and certain strategies that are more effective, efficient and innovative. The research model used in This study is a Plomp research model which is an adaptation of the model developed by Tjeerd Plomyang. This model was chosen because it is more systematic, directed, suitable and relevant for the learning tools in the selected KD. The result show that learning using the E-Module Conflict Resolution as a learning medium for high school students or equivalent is declared more effective and practical. Abstract

This research endeavors to delineate the empowerment of women facilitated by the Farmer Women's Groups, known as The Ampale Star, located in Nagari Taratak, Pesisir Selatan District. The study is motivated by the dearth of employment opportunities for women within this district. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, informants were selected using purposive sampling techniques. Data collection encompassed interviews, documentation, and observation, with data validity assured through triangulation. Analysis involved data collection, reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The initiatives undertaken by KWT The Ampale Star encompass: (1) providing plant seed assistance from governmental and private sources, (2) imparting agricultural cultivation skills, (3) processing and marketing corn juice milk, and (4) furnishing assistance with processing and cultivation equipment. Factors facilitating women's empowerment include strong spousal support, adequate facilities and materials, collaboration with relevant agencies, and positive community backing. Conversely, inhibiting factors include women's occasional reluctance to attend meetings, concurrent organizational commitments, childcare responsibilities, underdeveloped human resources among women farmers, and educational limitations hindering skill refinement and discussion participation.

Abstract

This article aims to examine the efforts of the Women’s Unity of the Golkar Party (KPPG) in enhancing women's representation in the legislative body through the recruitment process of prospective legislative candidates in the 2019 elections in Padang City. Employing a qualitative descriptive method, data collection was carried out through interviews and document analysis, while the validity of the data was tested using source triangulation by comparing interview results with documentary evidence from various relevant sources. The data analysis followed three key steps: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that KPPG’s efforts include: a) engaging in social services and community activities, b) providing political education through seminars, c) conducting orientation training for cadre members, d) organizing training of trainers, and e) offering campaigner training. However, KPPG faces several obstacles in increasing women's representation, including: a) the entrenched patriarchal culture in the Minangkabau community, b) lack of support or permission from husbands within the family environment, c) low interest among women in participating in politics, and d) financial limitations, where some potential candidates are unwilling to bear the costs required for candidacy.

Abstract

This research aims to look at the implementation of programs related to fulfilling the rights of children with special needs carried out by the Regional Technical Implementation Unit for Disability Services and Inclusive Education (UPTD LDPI) Padang City. This research also looks at factors that hinder the fulfillment of the rights of children with special needs. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The informants for this research consisted of: Head and staff of UPTD LDPI and parents of children with special needs. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation studies. The data analysis technique is carried out in the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions. The research results show that the implementation of service programs for children with special needs has been carried out well. The inhibiting factors in fulfilling children's rights are: human resources, namely personnel/staff, parents and facilities and infrastructure. This is due to society's perception that children with special needs are still seen as a burden rather than serving and fulfilling their needs.

Abstract

This article examines the implementation of the Adat Basandi Syara’, Syara’ Basandi Kitabullah (ABS-SBK) by the Nagari Customs Body (KAN) and MTsM Cupak in Solok Regency. The program integrates several practices, including communal Dhuha and Zuhur prayers and the recitation and memorization of the Al-Qur’an. The research employs qualitative descriptive methods, with informants comprising the chairman and secretary of MTsM, students, the Wali Nagari, and traditional community leaders. Data collection was conducted through interviews and documentation. The findings indicate that the ABS-SBK program implemented by KAN and MTsM Cupak has been fairly successful. However, challenges remain, such as student participation in Zuhur prayers and limited funding for art activities. This initiative also plays a role in shaping students' character and contributing to the nation's intellectual development.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar tematik terpadu dengan menggunakan model Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019 di SDN 09 Koto Rajo Kec. Rao Utara. Jenis penelitian ini adalan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru dan siswa kelas V SD 09 Koto Rajo dengan jumlah 20 Orang terdiri dari 12 orang laki-laki dan 8 orang perempuan. Data dinalisis menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah : pada siklus I rata-rata aktivitas siswa hanya 75 % dan aktivitas guru 77,5 %. Pada suklus II rata-rata aktivitas siswa adalah 82,5% dan aktivitas guru adalah 87,5 % . pada siklus III rata-rata aktivitas siswa adalah 95 % dan aktivitas aguru adalah 95 %. Hasil belajar siswa terlihat dari rata-rata pada siklus I adalah 73,65 pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 79,4 dan pada siklus III lebih mneingkat lagi menjadi 85,3. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan penggunakan model Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar tematik terpadu di SDN 09 Koto Rajo

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan guna mengetahui pengaruh serta penerapan model pembelajaran Mind Mapping terhadap hasil belajar berupa aspek kognitif maupun aspek afektif PKn siswa kelas IV SDN 04 Kampung Olo, Kota Padang. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan teknik penelitian eksperimen. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan Sampling Purposive. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa tes pilihan ganda mengenai materi globalisasi. Instrumen penelitian ini diperoleh melalui Korelasi Biserial, reliabilitas K-R 21, serta daya pembeda dan indeks kesukaran. Melalui penelitian ini diperoleh bahwa, rata-rata tes akhir kelas eksperimen sebesar 86,25, sementara kelas kontrol sebesar 77. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa nilai >, yaitu 3,54> 1,701, pada taraf nyata signifikan = 0,05, > berarti Hipotesis diterima dan ditolak. Pembelajaran dengan menggunakn model Mind Mapping berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar PKn siswa kelas IV SDN 04 Kampung Olo, Kota Padang tahun pelajaran 2020/2021.

Abstract

Catcalling merupakan bentuk pelecehan seksual secara verbal yang sering terjadi di ruang publik. Perilaku catcalling mengarah ke aktivitas seksual yang biasanya dilakukan dengan nada suara yang keras secara eksplisit atau secara langsung termasuk bersiul, memberikan gestur, berseru, atau berkomentar kepada seseorang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk-bentuk pelecehan seksual verbal atau catcalling di lingkungan sekolah serta mengidentifikasi dampak-dampak yang di alami pelajar SMP N 1 Kota Jambi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Kuantitatif deskriptif, pengambilan data dilakukan terhadap peserta didik di kelas IX sebanyak 74 orang. Bentuk-bentuk catcalling yang dialami oleh peserta didik yaitu siulan (69,59%); Komentar atas tubuh (64,86%); Komentar seksis (52,70%); gestur vulgar (58,56%); dan Komentar seksual (56.08%). Sedangkan dampak yang dirasakan Catcalling yang dirasakan oleh peserta didik yaitu trauma (52%); Hilang rasa aman (63%); Kurang percaya diri atau Insecure (60%); dan Marah atau terhina (62%).

Abstract

This study aims to describe the comparison between traditional teaching methods and the hidden curriculum approach in learning social science subjects at Pondok Pesantren Ashhabul Yamin Lasi. This research aims to understand how the hidden curriculum affects student engagement in social science learning at the boarding school. The research method used is a qualitative study with participant observation techniques and in-depth interviews with teachers and students. The result of the hidden curriculum on student engagement can be extended by looking at various aspects of its influence in the 21st century. This approach encourages the development of metacognitive skills, enhances creativity and innovation, and deepens students' understanding through experiential learning. The teacher-student relationship is also strengthened, while students are prepared for lifelong learning by promoting independent learning skills. Thus, the hidden curriculum is not only about knowledge, but also shaping individuals who are ready to face the challenges of the 21st century.
