Abstract

The author of this article takes the title The Proofs Of Ebenezer Scrooge's Christian Joy in Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol (1843).This article is about proofs of Christian Joy which found in Charles Dickens as one of main characters in the novella A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. The purpose of writing this article is to show proofs of the Christian joy of Christianity felt by Ebenezer Scrooge in the novella A Christmas Carol. The research method used in this study is descriptive qualitative. The topic of Christian Joy is chosen because it is important to find out the proofs of Christian Joy to Ebenezer Scrooge so that the readers can learn good lesson about how to understand about Christian Joy behaviour in life. In the modern era recently, most people will only concern about their mental health issue with all its gloom and joylessness.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis relasi patron-klien antara Koperasi Syariah Benteng Mikro Indonesia (Kopsyah BMI) sebagai patron dan anggota di Kampung Curugsawer, Pandeglang, sebagai klien dalam praktik transaksi utang piutang. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan analisis teori James C. Scott, penelitian menggali bentuk dan pola hubungan tersebut melalui wawancara mendalam. Temuan penelitian menegaskan bahwa model “Bank Emok syariah” Kopsyah BMI mampu memadukan nilai-nilai tolong-menolong dalam Islam dengan pola relasi kelembagaan yang bersifat hierarkis dan asimetris, sehingga membuka akses layanan keuangan yang berorientasi pada empati dan keberpihakan sosial bagi kelompok masyarakat yang selama ini terpinggirkan dari sistem keuangan formal. Akan tetapi, relasi tersebut mengandung konsekuensi ganda, karena di satu sisi memberikan perlindungan dan rasa aman, namun di sisi lain cenderung melanggengkan ketergantungan struktural yang berpotensi membatasi kemandirian dan otonomi ekonomi anggota dalam jangka panjang.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Local Own-Source Revenue (PAD) and Balancing Funds on Regional Expenditure, with Budget Ratcheting as a moderating variable. The research was conducted on the Provincial Government of West Kalimantan for the period 2021–2023 using a quantitative approach and multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that only Balancing Funds had a significant and positive effect on Regional Expenditure, indicating the strong dependence of regional financing on central government transfers. Meanwhile, PAD had no significant effect, suggesting limited fiscal independence in the province. Furthermore, the Budget Ratcheting variables (X1_Z and X2_Z) did not significantly moderate the relationship between PAD and Balancing Funds with Regional Expenditure. These findings highlight the need for improved local revenue management and more performance-based budgeting to reduce dependency and inefficiency in fiscal policy.

Abstract

In the world of IoT, it is involving many devices, each Node needs to send/receive the data from/to Datacenter. The Lora Gateway is usually used to achieve that communication. There are many ways to implement the Lora Gateway, it may use available Lora Gateway in the market. This method may be faster but need to have an extra fee, especially when many gateways are needed. Another method is by using the available GSM Network Gateway, this may lead fast but require managing Simcard at each Node. Both are less flexible as the data format needs to follow according to the standard of the Gateway which is chosen. Some methods select to build the Lora Gateway by themself, but this requires some development and integration that leads to giving extra time. To compensate above problem this project is involved. The aim is to prove, that it is possible to build a Low-Cost Lora Gateway based Time Division with the help of on .Net Core prgramming. As of today .Net Core can run in the Linux OS environment smoothly, hence building Lora Gateway based Time Division using on .Net Core is very possible to be done. By developing for all devices using .Net Core the communication data across the device is easy to achieve. It is because all projects in each device reference the same library that contains the same data entities and services. This project proves that building a Low-Cost Lora Gateway based on .Net Core is successfully done. The development and integration are relatively easy and fast. The fee to build the Lora Gateway is less compared to using available Gateway in the market or using GSM Gateway.

Abstract

This study was motivated by challenges in the learning process due to differences in student abilities, especially interpersonal intelligence. Initial observations and interviews showed that students with high interpersonal intelligence were more active, communicative, and skilled in group discussions, while those with low intelligence tended to be passive and had difficulty collaborating, resulting in inconsistent learning outcomes in Pancasila Education, which requires interaction. The research question in this study is whether there is an effect of interpersonal intelligence on the learning outcomes of Pancasila Education for eighth-grade students at Al Azhar 37 Islamic Junior High School in Pekanbaru. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of interpersonal intelligence on student learning outcomes. This study used a quantitative method with a quantitative descriptive approach. The population consisted of 77 eighth-grade students. The sample was determined using a saturated sampling technique. The instrument was a questionnaire distributed to eighth-grade students. Data analysis techniques included prerequisite tests (normality, linearity), F-test, simple linear regression test, and coefficient of determination test. The results of data analysis show that there is a positive and significant effect between interpersonal intelligence and student learning outcomes. The calculated F value is 73.72 > F table of 3.97 and sig. (2-tailed) = 0.000 < 0.05, so the Ha hypothesis is accepted. The coefficient of determination of 49.6% indicates that interpersonal intelligence contributes 49.6% to the variation in learning outcomes. In conclusion, interpersonal intelligence effectively improves the Pancasila Education learning outcomes of eighth-grade students at Al Azhar 37 Islamic Junior High School in Pekanbaru.

Abstract

In the face of the globalization era that is increasingly competitive, a company is required to be able to devise competitive in order to survive and win the competition. Because it needed a solution to improve the quality of the product so that it can assist in winning the competition with its competitors. PT. Indonesia Timber Kutai (ITC) as a company engaged in lumber and plywood production was should be able to survive in an increasingly tight competition. Plywood is formed by layers of sheets- sheets of wood called veneer. The quality of the veneers will effect the quality of plywood produced by PT Indonesia Timber Kutai. To get a good veneer quality then needed a good combination between the blade with the machine. Researchers do research on the condition of the blade. A place for pengashan blade is subsi Grinde The cause of the majority of the knife is a blunt knife quickly, so the quality of the produced veneer would be ugly. Researchers try to find problem  problems encountered an immediately make the effort improved sharpening results with seven quality control. For the results of his research is before there is an improvement obtained 22 case knife quickly dulled from 72 blade, after no improvement, found only 1 case of only fast knife dulled from 72 blades.

Abstract

Analysis of the workload on the office and administration of a Probolinggo city health center needs to be done. Some officers seem to work relaxed while others do not, and some workers do not start work on time and end work early. It appears that in certain sections there is a buildup of work and not in other sections, this seems to be because workers cannot organize work according to a predetermined work schedule. By using workload analysis it can be ascertained that workers have worked well or not. From the results of the analysis it is known that some workers have worked beyond their proper work capacity (overload) and some workers are still working casually.

Abstract

The study is intended to examine the impact of implementing the cooperative learning model with the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) approach on the problem-solving skills of junior high school students in the Al-Qur’an Hadith subject. This research uses a quantitative approach with a population of all class VII students at Mts. Fatahillah Semarang. This research uses a non-equivalent control group design for its quasi-experimental design. Data collection was carried out using observation, written assessments, and documentation techniques. The analysis revealed that the mean N-gain score of the control group was 9.15, whereas the experimental group obtained a higher mean score of 19.12. The normality test results indicated that the experimental group’s pretest score had a significance value of 0.169 and the posttest score 0.443, both exceeding 0.05, which confirms that the data were normally distributed. Furthermore, the homogeneity test produced a significance value of 0.095, greater than 0.05, indicating that the null hypothesis (Ho) was accepted and the variances of the two groups were homogeneous. Subsequently, hypothesis testing using the independent samples t-test resulted in a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.020, which is below the 0.05 threshold. Therefore, it can be concluded that a statistically significant difference exists between the problem-solving skills of students in the experimental class and those in the control class in the Al-Qur’an Hadith subject.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has encouraged the widespread adoption of Learning Management Systems (LMS) as a primary platform for distance learning. Although studies on LMS have increased substantially, comprehensive investigations mapping the global development, trends, and research focuses in this field remain limited. This gap has resulted in an incomplete understanding of the evolution of LMS research in supporting distance education. Therefore, this study is important to identify research patterns and dominant themes within the global LMS literature. The study aims to map global research trends on Learning Management Systems in distance learning and provide a comprehensive overview of the field's development. A quantitative descriptive design with a bibliometric analysis approach was employed using 100 Scopus-indexed journal articles published between 2015 and 2025. The analysis included co-authorship, keyword co-occurrence, citation analysis, and bibliographic coupling supported by bibliometric visualization tools. The findings reveal a significant increase in LMS-related publications, particularly during 2020–2021. Thematic analysis identified three major research focuses: distance learning, flexible learning models, and student engagement and learning outcomes. In addition, the results indicate a shift from technology-centered research toward more integrated and learner-centered approaches. This study concludes that Learning Management Systems have become a strategic component of modern education and play an essential role in supporting effective, flexible, and sustainable learning environments. ABSTRAK Perkembangan teknologi digital telah mendorong pemanfaatan Learning Management Systems (LMS) sebagai platform utama dalam penyelenggaraan pembelajaran jarak jauh. Meskipun penelitian mengenai LMS terus meningkat, kajian yang secara komprehensif memetakan perkembangan, tren, dan fokus penelitian global pada bidang ini masih relatif terbatas. Keterbatasan tersebut menyebabkan belum tersedianya gambaran menyeluruh mengenai arah perkembangan penelitian LMS dalam mendukung pembelajaran jarak jauh. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini penting dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi pola perkembangan penelitian serta tema-tema yang mendominasi kajian LMS pada tingkat global. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan tren penelitian global mengenai Learning Management Systems dalam pembelajaran jarak jauh dan memberikan gambaran komprehensif mengenai perkembangan bidang tersebut. Penelitian menggunakan desain deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan analisis bibliometrik terhadap 100 artikel terindeks Scopus yang diterbitkan pada periode 2015–2025. Analisis dilakukan melalui co-authorship, keyword co-occurrence, citation analysis, dan bibliographic coupling dengan bantuan perangkat visualisasi bibliometrik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa publikasi terkait LMS mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan, terutama pada periode 2020–2021. Analisis tematik mengidentifikasi tiga fokus utama penelitian, yaitu pembelajaran jarak jauh, model pembelajaran fleksibel, serta keterlibatan dan hasil belajar mahasiswa. Selain itu, ditemukan pergeseran orientasi penelitian dari pendekatan yang berpusat pada teknologi menuju pendekatan yang lebih terintegrasi dan berpusat pada pembelajar. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa LMS telah menjadi komponen strategis dalam pendidikan modern dan memiliki peran penting dalam mendukung lingkungan pembelajaran yang efektif, fleksibel, dan berkelanjutan.
