Abstract

Salah satu metode yang sesuai dengan materi mengindeks dokumen yaitu metode konvensional dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran website e-learningberbasis dokumen. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) siklus, faktor yang diteliti dalam penelitian ini : faktor guru (cara guru melaksanakan kegiatan belajar mengajar dengan media pembelajaran menggunakan website e-learningberbasis dokumen), faktor siswa (aktifitas dan hasil belajar siswa), berdasarkan hasil perhitungan siklus I kemampuan kognitif siswa dari 30 siswa kelas X AP 2 terdapat 16 siswa yang tuntas dan 14 siswa yang masih belum tuntas, dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 69,46, sedangkan pada skor awal sebelum diadakan tindakan siklus I terdapat 19 siswa yang tuntas dan 13 siswa belum tuntas dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 69.93. Pada siklus II ada peningkatan hasil belajar dengan nilai rata-rata mencapai 80,3dan dari segi kognitif ada 1 siswa yang belum tuntas.    One method that suits the material index documents by using the conventional method of learning media e-learning website based documents. This study is a kind of classroom action research (PTK) cycle, factors examined in this study: teacher factors (how teachers implement teaching and learning activities with learning media using e-learning website based documents), student factors (activity and student learning outcomes), I cycle calculation based on the results of the cognitive abilities of students of class X AP 2 there are 16 students who completed and 14 students who are not yet complete, with an average value of 69.46, while the scores of the measures before the beginning of the cycle I have 19 students 13 students who completed and not yet finished with an average value of 69.93. In the second cycle there is an increase in the value of learning outcomes with an average of 80.3in terms of cognitive and no one student is not yet complete.

Abstract

Many theories highlighted the critical importance of knowledge creation on the long-term success of the organization. However, the scarcity of empirical work on knowledge creation model has limited our understanding of the overall organizational process involved. To overcome this, we attempt a comprehensive analyze of knowledge creation model within the organization, exploring the relationship between innovation, knowledge creation model, problem-solving capability, absorptive capacity, knowledge acquisition and assets. Data of this case study were taken from three dairy cooperations in Java. Analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Lisrel 8.72. The results revealed that several contributing factors (problem-solving capability, absorptive capacity, knowledge acquisition and assets) had significant effect on innovation. On the other hand, knowledge creation model had no significant effect on innovation in the context of the dairy cooperation in Indonesia. The implication for managers is that by focusing on externalization process in knowledge creation model within the organization. In the pattern of innovations, product innovation is the most important. Key words: innovation, knowledge creation, problem-solving capability, absorptive capacity, dairy cooperation

Abstract

The milk price from a cooperative institution to farmer does not fully cover the production cost. Though, dairy farmers encounter various risks and uncertainties in conducting their business. The highest risk in milk supply lies in the activities at the farm. This study was designed to formulate a model for calculating milk price at farmer’s level based on risk. Risks that occur on farms include the risk of cow breeding, sanitation, health care, cattle feed management, milking and milk sales. This research used the location of the farm in West Java region. There were five main stages in the preparation of this model, (1) identification and analysis of influential factors, (2) development of a conceptual model, (3) structural analysis and the amount of production costs, (4) model calculation of production cost with risk factors, and (5) risk based milk pricing model. This research built a relationship between risks on smallholder dairy farms with the production costs to be incurred by the farmers. It was also obtained the formulation of risk adjustment factor calculation for the variable costs of production in dairy cattle farm. The difference in production costs with risk and the total production cost without risk was about 8% to 10%. It could be concluded that the basic price of milk proposed based on the research was around IDR 4,250-IDR 4,350/L for 3 to 4 cows ownership. Increasing farmer income was expected to be obtained by entering the value of this risk in the calculation of production costs.

Abstract

 Nowadays, threats of food shortages are happen in Indonesia. Most of crops that are consumed as main food are cereals commodities. Cereals cultivation often experience some problems in determining whether land is suitable or not for the crops. Expert system can help researcher and practitioners to identify land suitability for cereal crops. In this research, an expert system model of land suitability for cereals crop was built. The model implemented soft computing methods to develop inference engine which combines fuzzy system and genetic algorithm. There are 16 parameters to define land suitability which consists of 12 numeric parameters and 4 categorical parameters. Two types of cereal crops that were used in this study namely wetland paddy and corn. Trapezoid membership function was used to represent fuzzy sets for numerical parameters. Genetic algorithm was used for tuning the membership function of fuzzy set for land suitability which consists of very suitable (S1), quite suitable (S2), marginal suitable (S3) and not suitable (N). This expert system is able to choose land suitability classes for cereals using the fuzzy genetic model with accuracy of 90% and 85% for corn and wetland paddy respectively.

Abstract

his paper discussed quality improvement of black tea using fuzzy approach on quality functions deployment and the development of backpropagation neural the software NWP II plus. The research was conducted at PTPN VIII tea industry, Goalpara plantation. Result of the study showed that, parameter first priority based on customer evaluation was tea flavour. The Important process parameter of black tea based on result of fuzzy relationship matrix was the withering process. Based on the test of “trial and error” of network training process, the best network architecture for withering process monitoring [3-15-1] was obtained, that is 3 neurons in input layer, 15 neurons in hidden layer and 1 neuron in output layer. Three inputs and output consist of time, flow, temperature and moisture content. The result sugges that development of backpropagation neural network can be used for process evaluation of withering processes. Abstract

Indonesia is a rich country for many kinds of medicinal plants which become important raw material for jamu industry development. This paper discusses jamu industry products selection and institutional structure analysis for the jamu industry development. The result of products selection using “fuzzy non numeric decision making technique” shows that powder jamu is the best product to be developed and institutional structure analysis using “interpretative structural modelling technique” shows that municipal goverment is the institution which has strongest driver power for jamu industry development. Abstract

The objective of this work was to investigate and to apply economic efficiency performance measurement methods for tea beverage agroindustry. These measurements were based on twelve technique and economic efficiency criteria, which illustrate the condition of the processes. This illustration was able to explain the material and the energy utilization, variance of the processes and product, handling of the waste and acceptance in the market. The methodology was divided into three steps: (1) defining the technique and the economic criteria, appropriate to the circumstance of the processes, (2) state efficiency the level status, (3) evaluation and structure prioritizing of the processes improvement alternatives. The results of this work indicates that there are seven appropriate criteria. The status of the efficiency is in the medium level. The improvement priorities recommended include optimization of material and energy usage and minimization of breaktime of the critical processes.

Abstract

                This paper discusses strategy formulation for improving the quality of fresh vegetables agroindustry.  The quality improvement strategy was formulated based on the customer expectation, key attribute process control and the comparison of internal-external factors evaluation.  The customer expectations were translated using Quality Function Deployment (QFD) and pairwise comparison. Process control was used to see wheather the key process attribute (temperature for packaging room and warehouse) in capable range. The improvement strategies were formulated using SWOT analysis. The formulated strategies suggested be operated by the fresh vegetables agroindustry are fullfiling customer expectation through improvement of material handling process, packaging, warehouse and food safety assurance especially free from peptiside residue. The company should do market research to recognize the change of customer expectation and HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) implementation to support more operational strategy formulation.

Abstract

In the product design and development processes, Quality Function Deployment (QFD) provides a comprehensive, systematic approach to ensure that the products meet or exceed customer expectations. This paper reports the results of vegetables customers survey in Jakarta. Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method was used for weighing the result of survey, and the customer expectation were translated using QFD. To meet the biggest customer expectation, i.e. vegetables freshness, Just In Time (JIT) concept was utilized.

Abstract

Apple and its processing product is one of prospective commodities in Malang, East Java. The article discussed application of fuzzy non-numerik decision making to select prospective apple processing product, analyse institutional structure using ISM method and determine development model using AHP method. The research result showed apple dodol selected as the most prospective product with high category elements of entrepreneur, corporation, and high edi\ucation are as independent elements; and partnership (46%) selected as model of institutional estabilishment.
