One of the causes of Diabetes Mellitus is a lack of exercise or physical activity. Glycogen or fat reserves will accumulate enough in the body if a person does not do physical activity or exercise. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of diabetes mellitus exercise on reducing sugar levels over time in diabetes mellitus sufferers. This research method is pre-experimental with a one group pre-post test design approach. The sampling technique used was total sampling with data analysis using the data normality test. The results of this study showed differences in blood sugar levels before and after doing diabetes exercises. After doing diabetes exercises, blood sugar levels drop. The decrease in blood sugar levels varied from one respondent to another. This indicates that exercise has a significant influence on reducing blood sugar levels in Diabetes Mellitus sufferers.

The COVID-19 pandemic poses a major challenge to the health of pregnant women. The level of knowledge of pregnant women about COVID-19 is thought to be related to their compliance with health protocols. This study aims to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge of pregnant women about COVID-19 and their compliance with health protocols during pregnancy. The research method used a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design. The study population consisted of pregnant women who underwent pregnancy check-ups at health care facilities, with the sample size determined through purposive sampling. The results showed that pregnant women with a high level of knowledge tended to be more compliant in following health protocols such as wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and washing hands compared to pregnant women with low knowledge. In conclusion, there is a significant relationship between pregnant women's knowledge level about COVID-19 and their compliance with health protocols.

Endophytic fungi are microorganisms that live within plant tissues without causing disease symptoms. This study aimed to identify endophytic fungi associated with traditional medicinal plants in South Sulawesi that may produce bioactive compounds. The research was exploratory in nature, isolating fungi from leaves and stems using Potato Dextrose Agar (PDA) medium, and identifying them based on macroscopic and microscopic morphological characteristics. The results revealed the presence of several genera of endophytic fungi, including Aspergillus, Penicillium, Fusarium, and Trichoderma. These findings indicate the significant potential of endophytic fungi in the development of biotechnology-based traditional medicines.

Patient adherence to therapy is a crucial factor in the successful management of Diabetes Mellitus (DM). However, non-adherence remains a major challenge, leading to increased complications and treatment costs. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of pharmacist counseling in reducing non-adherence to therapy in patients with type 2 DM. The study design used a quasi-experimental method with a pre-test and post-test approach without a control group. The sample consisted of 50 DM patients undergoing oral therapy at Community Health Center X. Compliance was measured using the Morisky Medication Adherence Scale (MMAS-8) questionnaire. The results showed a significant increase in patient adherence after receiving pharmacist counseling (p < 0.05). The conclusion of this study is that pharmacist counseling is effective in reducing non-adherence to Diabetes Mellitus therapy and should be implemented routinely in clinical pharmacy services.

Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem that remains a major challenge in Indonesia, particularly in rural areas with limited access to nutrition education, sanitation, and health services. This community service program aims to improve the knowledge of pregnant women and mothers of toddlers regarding balanced nutrition as a means of preventing stunting in Assisted Village X. Activities included balanced nutrition counseling, demonstrations on making nutritious complementary foods (MP-ASI), screening for toddler nutritional status, and mentoring families at risk of stunting. A total of 65 participants (22 pregnant women and 43 mothers of toddlers) participated in the program. Results showed an increase in participant knowledge, with an average pre-test score of 55.3, rising to 86.1 in the post-test. Furthermore, 12 toddlers at risk of stunting were identified and provided with further mentoring. The program also encouraged the formation of "Village Nutrition Friends" (Sahabat Gizi Desa) cadres as a sustainability effort for the program. This program has proven effective in increasing community knowledge and awareness regarding the importance of balanced nutrition to prevent stunting.

Adolescent mental health is a critical issue that requires special attention, given the increasing incidence of anxiety, depression, and risky behaviors in this age group. Limited access to counseling services and adolescents' low understanding of mental health are major challenges, especially in areas with limited health services. This community service program aims to increase adolescents' knowledge and awareness of mental health through a Mobile Counseling Program. The program was conducted in three secondary schools within the target area, involving 120 adolescents aged 13–18. The methods used included outreach, group counseling, individual counseling, and distribution of educational media. Evaluation was conducted through pre- and post-tests to measure knowledge gains and participant satisfaction questionnaires. The results showed a significant increase in adolescents' knowledge, with an average pre-test score of 58.4 increasing to 84.2 in the post-test. Ninety-two percent of participants stated that the mobile counseling program was very beneficial and should be conducted regularly. In conclusion, the Mobile Counseling program is effective in increasing adolescents' knowledge and awareness of mental health. This activity is recommended as a sustainable program in schools and communities to strengthen preventive efforts against mental health issues.

Therapeutic communication is a core skill in nursing practice that directly impacts the quality of care and patient safety. However, nurses often experience various obstacles, resulting in suboptimal implementation of therapeutic communication. This study aims to analyze the obstacles faced by nurses in implementing therapeutic communication in healthcare facilities. The research method used a qualitative descriptive approach with in-depth interviews with 15 nurses in hospitals and community health centers. The results showed that the main obstacles included high workload, lack of communication training, language barriers, patient emotional states, and an unsupportive work environment. The analysis revealed that organizational and individual factors play a role in reducing the effectiveness of therapeutic communication. This study emphasizes the importance of regular training, workload management, and creating a conducive communication environment to improve the quality of the nurse-patient relationship.

Anemia during pregnancy is one of the most common health problems and increases the risk of complications such as bleeding, premature birth, and low birth weight. The primary preventive measure recommended by the Ministry of Health is the consumption of at least 90 iron tablets during pregnancy. However, compliance with iron supplements by pregnant women remains low. One important factor influencing this compliance is family support. This study aims to analyze the relationship between family support and adherence by pregnant women in taking iron tablets. The study used a cross-sectional design with a sample of 120 pregnant women selected using purposive sampling in the working area of Community Health Center X. The instruments used included a family support questionnaire and an adherence questionnaire regarding iron tablet consumption. Data were analyzed using the chi-square test. The results showed that the majority of pregnant women (65.8%) had good family support, and 63.3% were compliant with iron tablet consumption. There was a significant relationship between family support and adherence by pregnant women in taking iron tablets (p-value = 0.001). In conclusion, family support plays a significant role in improving adherence by pregnant women in taking iron tablets. Therefore, health interventions must involve families to increase the success of anemia prevention programs.

Husband's support is a crucial factor influencing a mother's psychological well-being during pregnancy and childbirth. In primigravida mothers, husband's support has been shown to increase self-confidence, reduce anxiety, and contribute to a successful vaginal delivery. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between husband's support and the success of vaginal deliveries in primigravida mothers at Community Health Center X. The study used a cross-sectional design, involving 82 primigravida mothers who gave birth in the last six months. Data were collected using a husband support questionnaire and medical records of the delivery process. Analysis used the Chi- Square test. The study results showed that primigravida mothers who received high levels of husband support were more likely to experience normal delivery than those with low levels of support (p=0.001). Husband support plays a role in reducing anxiety, increasing mental readiness, and strengthening the mother's adaptation to the labor process.
