Abstract

Abstract

Leptin plays a role in regulating the growth of bones and other body tissues. Leptin can affect the epiphyseal growth zones in long bones, contributing to height growth. The aim of this research is to analyze leptin levels and body height in toddlers before and after giving additional food based on Moringa leaves and sea fish. The supplementary feeding intervention was carried out for 10 weeks on 30 toddlers with stunted and very stunted nutritional status at the Sedan Community Health Center, Rembang Regency. Leptin levels in the blood were analyzed using ELISA, height measurements were carried out using a stadiometer, determination of nutritional status was guided by the PERMENKES regarding 2020 child anthropometry standards, and data analysis used the SPSS program. The results of the study showed that the average leptin level decreased and the average body height increased after the intervention of providing additional food based on Moringa leaves and sea fish. Thus, it can be concluded that decreasing leptin levels can cause a decrease in fat and adipogenesis which results in increased bone formation in the form of increased height in stunted toddlers at the Sedan Community Health Center, Rembang Regency.

Abstract

The Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE) is a government administration that utilizes information and communication technology to provide services to SPBE Users as stipulated in Presidential Regulation No. 95 of 2018. SPBE aims to create an integrated government business process between Central Agencies and Regional Governments, form a complete government unit and produce bureaucracy and high-performance public services. To support the implementation of SPBE, the National SPBE architecture is compiled as a detailed guide that covers technical and methodological aspects, ensuring the integration of government electronic systems. This architecture provides convenience in increasing efficiency and effectiveness, as well as being a guide for SPBE governance in Central Agencies and Regional Governments. The XYZ Regency Government has implemented the SPBE architecture as the basis for implementation in its area. This study analyzes the SPBE architecture in XYZ Regency based on the National SPBE architecture to provide optimization recommendations on the application architecture domain. Despite the existence of Presidential Regulation Number 95 of 2018 and Number 132 of 2022, the preparation of government architecture in Indonesia still faces challenges due to the lack of clear guidance. More detailed references are needed as derivatives of existing regulations to ensure consistent and optimal implementation, help agencies understand and implement the SPBE architecture, so that digital transformation towards Indonesia 4.0 is achieved by 2040.

Abstract

Obesity is a condition characterized by the accumulation of excess fat in the body that can cause systemic metabolic changes. Rambutan peel is known to be rich in bioactive compounds such as geraniin, corilagin, ellagic acid, and other active compounds. This study aims to analyze the effect of rambutan peel extract on creatinine levels and kidney histology in obese rat models. The experimental research method used a post-test only control group design. A total of 25 male rats were divided into 5 groups: Normal group (K-); Obese group induced by coconut oil and 15% sugar water (K+); Obese group given ellagic acid (T1); Groups T2 and T3 induced by coconut oil and 15% sugar water and rambutan peel extract at doses of 15 mg/kgBW and 30 mg/kgBW. The parameters of this study were creatinine levels and kidney glomerular diameter. Data analysis used one-way ANOVA and Tukey HSD tests. The results of the study showed that rambutan peel extract could significantly reduce creatinine levels and glomerular diameter (p<0.05). The most optimal reduction was shown at a dose of 30 mg/kgBW for both creatinine levels and glomerular diameter. It can be concluded that rambutan peel extract has the potential to reduce creatinine levels and improve glomerular diameter in obese rat models.

Abstract

Introduction: The mismatch between interests and study program selection remains a challenge at many Private Universities (PTS) in Jakarta. This inaccuracy negatively impacts student enthusiasm for learning, academic achievement, and dropout rates. This study aims to analyze factors influencing the decision to choose a study program (Y), with Student Interest (Z) as an intervening variable. The independent variables used include Facilities and Service Facilities (X1), Education Fees (X2), Marketing Communication (X3), Lecturer Competence (X4), Job Prospects (X5), Self-Motivation (X6), and Family Support (X7)Methods: This study used a quantitative method, distributing questionnaires to 119 students at several private universities in Jakarta, and analyzed the data using multiple regression, classical assumption tests, the Sobel test, and the coefficient of determination (Adjusted R²).Results: The research findings show that Job Prospects (X5), Self-Motivation (X6), and Family Support (X7) impact students’ bias in choosing a study program, while other variables do not have a significant effect. The Sobel test indicates that Student Interest (Z) mediates only the influence of Self-Motivation (X6). The research model is valid with R² = 0.733 and Adjusted R² = 0.713. These findings confirm the importance of motivation, family support, and job prospects in students’ academic decisions. Conclusion and suggestion: Job prospects, self-motivation, and family support significantly influenced the decision to choose a study program, while other factors did not. Student interests did not mediate the effect of self-motivation. Universities need to strengthen career guidance and emphasize job prospects to facilitate informed study decisions. Abstract

The Smart Indonesia Program (PIP) is a government assistance program in the form of cash directly provided to students according to established criteria. This program aims to equalize educational opportunities and improve educational quality. It also aims to reduce dropout rates and provide greater attention to the poor. Applicants for the PIP program must be registered in the government’s social welfare database known as DTKS (Integrated Social Welfare Data), have complete educational records, and be listed in the KKS (Prosperous Family Card) system.. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the implementation of the Smart Indonesia Program policy for special schools in South Sumatra Province. Problems identified include: many students categorized as poor and vulnerable to poverty do not receive funding from the Smart Indonesia Program; the amount of PIP assistance received by students is perceived as insufficient for school needs; and disbursement of assistance sometimes does not meet the stipulated timeframe. The study found that the criteria for PIP assistance recipients in special schools in South Sumatra Province are in accordance with regulations, as those receiving assistance are registered as poor households and registered in the Integrated Social Welfare Data (DTKS) of Palembang City. The distribution of aid is in accordance with applicable policies, but the amount of aid is deemed insufficient to meet all students' needs.
