Abstract

Penelitian terdahulu yang dilakukan di SMK Pelita Alam menunjukkan pengetahuan siswi-siswi yang masih rendah terkait penggunanan tabir surya. Hal tersebut yang mendasari adanya kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) terkait pemilihan kosmetika yang aman di kalangan remaja. Kegiatan PKM berlangsung pada 21 Mei 2024 dengan responden terdiri atas siswi-siswi kelas XI dan XII sejumlah 23 orang dengan range usia 16-18 tahun. Metode yang digunakan berupa penyuluhan dengan bantuan power point dan video yang dilakukan oleh tim dosen dan mahasiswa. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya keaktifan responden dalam berdiskusi terkait materi yang disampaikan. Sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa kegiatan PKM ini cukup berhasil. Abstract

Abstract This study investigates the impact of government spending on the growth of the Human Development Index (HDI) in Paser Regency, East Kalimantan, as well as the dominant sectors that influence HDI growth. The research method used an inferential quantitative method referring to document analysis of the Paser Regency Regional Budget Realization Report, the focus of the research was on spending in the Education, Health, and Economic sectors. Data was obtained from the financial statements of the Paser Regency local government. The results showed that government expenditure produced a significant multiple linear regression analysis of 12.478 points, with the Education sector as the most influential (11.13 points), followed by the Health sector (0.73 points) and the Economy sector (0.018 points). It is concluded that there is an influence on government expenditure on the growth of the Human Development Index (HDI), with government expenditure in the Education sector emerging as the most influential factor in driving the growth of the Human Development Index in Paser Regency. The results of this study can be used as a reference in increasing the Human Development Index in the perspective of government spending. Keywords: human development index (HDI), government expenditure Abstrak Penelitian ini menyelidiki pengaruh pengeluaran pemerintah terhadap pertumbuhan Indeks Pembangunan Manusia (IPM) di Kabupaten Paser, Kalimantan Timur, serta sektor dominan yang memengaruhi pertumbuhan IPM. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif Inferensial merujuk kepada analisis dokumen Laporan Realisasi Anggaran Pendapatan dan Belanja Daerah Kabupaten Paser, fokus penelitian adalah pada pengeluaran di sektor Pendidikan, Kesehatan, dan Ekonomi. Data diperoleh dari laporan keuangan pemerintah daerah Kabupaten Paser. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pengeluaran pemerintah menghasilkan analisis regresi linear berganda yang signifikan sebesar 12.478 poin, dengan sektor Pendidikan sebagai yang paling berpengaruh (11.13 poin), diikuti oleh sektor Kesehatan (0.73 poin) dan sektor Ekonomi (0.018 poin). Disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh pada pengeluaran pemerintahan terhadap pertumbuhan indeks pembangunan manusia (IPM), dengan pengeluaran pemerintah di sektor Pendidikan muncul sebagai faktor yang paling berpengaruh dalam mendorong pertumbuhan Indeks Pembangunan Manusia di Kabupaten Paser. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini dapat dijadikan refrensi dalam Peningkatan Indeks Pembangunan Manusia dalam Perspektif Pengeluaran Pemerintah. Abstract

The selutui puka plant (Tabernaemontana macrocarpa Jack.) is a plant that has many benefits for the Dayak community in the West Kutai area, Karangan Village, Mook Manaar Bulatn District, East Kalimantan. Empirically, the Dayak tribe uses selutui puka to treat cancer, herpes, scabies, itchy skin, acne and blisters. Metabolites contained in selutui puka leaves such as alkaloids, flavonoids, tannins, saponins, and steroids have potential as antioxidants and antibacterials. Selutui puka leaf can be used as an alternative to natural acne treatment, because it is known that the use of natural ingredients has lower side effects. The purpose of this study was to determine the antioxidant and antibacterial activity of the ethanol extract of selutui puka leaves against Propionibacterium acnes. This research was conducted by experimental method. The research sample was selutui puka leaf. The research phase includes sample preparation, plant determination, simplicia manufacture, extraction, testing of antioxidant activity using UV/VIS Spectrophotometer at extract concentrations of 300 ppm, 325 ppm, 350 ppm, 375 ppm and 400 ppm. Quercetin as a positive control and comparison. The antibacterial activity test consisted of making media, culturing Propionibacterium acnes, and testing antibacterial activity using the disc diffusion method at extract concentrations of 5%, 10%, and 15%. Data were analyzed descriptively. The data from the results of this study are presented in the form of tables and figures. IC50 of ethanol extract of selutui puka leaves was 333.60 ppm with very weak category. The diameter of the inhibition zone of the ethanolic extract of selutui puka leaves against Propionibacterium acnes was 7.81 mm (5%), 7.44 mm (10%) and 8.63 mm (15%) in the medium category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji keaslian dalam analisis dampak independensi dan pergantian akuntan publik terhadap kualitas audit, yang masih menjadi isu penting di industri akuntansi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi apakah variabel tersebut memengaruhi kualitas audit pada perusahaan manufaktur sektor barang konsumsi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia selama periode 2020–2023. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling untuk mengumpulkan data dari 50 dari 55 perusahaan yang memenuhi kriteria. Data dianalisis menggunakan SPSS versi 29 dengan teknik statistik deskriptif, regresi logistik, dan uji hipotesis. Hasil empiris menunjukkan bahwa independensi dan pergantian akuntan publik tidak memiliki dampak signifikan terhadap kualitas audit. Implikasi dari penelitian ini memberikan wawasan bagi perusahaan dan pemangku kepentingan mengenai pentingnya mempertimbangkan faktor lain dalam meningkatkan kualitas audit, serta menyarankan perlunya penelitian lebih lanjut untuk memahami faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kualitas audit secara lebih komprehensif.

Abstract

Unmanned aircraft or better known as drones have experienced rapid development in recent years. This technology has been used in various sectors, including military, agriculture, aerial photography, mapping, to surveillance and rescue. Along with the increasing demand and use of drones, skilled human resources are needed to operate and manage this technology safely and effectively. Lack of understanding of flight regulations, basic operating techniques, and drone maintenance can lead to the risk of accidents and violations of the law. Therefore, drone flight training for SMK Al Farabi Medan students is very important to ensure that drone operators have adequate competence. With this training, it is hoped that students can operate drones professionally, understand the technical and legal aspects involved, and be able to apply this technology optimally in their respective fields. This training also supports efforts to improve flight safety and more responsible management of drone technology.

Abstract

High risk in pregnancy is a condition that can cause pregnant women and babies to become abnormal before birth. The danger signs of pregnancy must be understood and can be detected in the mother's pregnancy so that they can be handled properly because the danger signs in pregnancy can cause complications in pregnancy. This community service was carried out in Karanggayam Village, Srengat District, Blitar Regency. The implementation of the community service was on August 30,2022. The activities included: (1). Giving a pre-test in the form of a questionnaire to pregnant women, (2). Antenatal care activities (ANC), (3). Outreach activities about high-risk pregnancy, (4). Post-test in the form of a questionnaire. The counselling media used LCD media, laptops, videos and leaflets. The instrument used a questionnaire about high-risk pregnancy. Based on the results of the evaluation, it was found that 30% of pregnant women have poor knowledge, and only 20% had good knowledge. After being given an intervention in the form of counseling about high-risk in pregnant women, it was found that 70% had knowledge in the good category, and 30% in the sufficient category. It is expected to provide counseling to pregnant women about high-risk of pregnancies by using lecturing media, videos and leaflets.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat dalam membayar Pajak Kendaraan Bermotor (PKB) dan mendukung pencapaian target pendapatan daerah di Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Metode yang digunakan adalah door to door dengan mengunjungi wajib pajak secara langsung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan ini efektif dalam meningkatkan jumlah Surat Pemberitahuan Pajak Kendaraan Bermotor (SPKPPKB) yang disampaikan dan realisasi penerimaan PKB. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga berhasil meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat tentang pentingnya membayar pajak. Kendala yang dihadapi dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan ini antara lain adalah sikap wajib pajak yang kurang kooperatif dan keterbatasan sumber daya. Untuk mengatasi kendala tersebut, perlu dilakukan peningkatan koordinasi, pemanfaatan teknologi, dan sosialisasi yang lebih intensif. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the STEM-based Think Pair Share model on the thinking ability of early childhood education students.  The research is a meta-analysis research. This study analyzed 17 primary studies that had met the established inclusion criteria. The data analysis in this study is statistical analysis. This study concluded that the analysis using the random effect model obtained the average effect size value (d= 0.972; p <0.001). This effect size is very high. These results show that the STEM-based Think Pair Share model strongly influences the critical thinking ability of prospective Early Childhood Education (PAUD) teachers compared to the traditional learning model.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the Scholoogy-assisted blended learning model on improving language skills in prospective early childhood education teachers. This study is a quantitative research with a meta-analysis approach. The inclusion criteria in this study include a) research obtained through the Google Scholar database; DOAJ, ScienceDirect; Wos and Wiley, b) research must be indexed by the Science Technology and Index (SINTA), Web of Science or Scopus; c) the research topic must be relevant; d) the research was published in the 2021-2024 range; e) Research sample > 30 students. Analyze data with the help of JSAP applications. The results of this study concluded that the 23 studies analyzed obtained an effect size value (d = 1,081; Z = 9.685; p < 0.001) is included in the very high effect size category. These findings show that the Scholoogy-assisted blended learning model greatly affects language skills in early childhood education students. In addition, the application of the blended learning model assisted by schology is effective in helping to develop students' language skills in learning. This research is expected to contribute to the world of education and research in the future.

Abstract

Many previous studies have reported that there are many different impacts of the application of mobile learning in improving students' critical thinking skills. This study aims to determine the effect of mobile learning on critical thinking skills in early childhood teacher candidates through meta-analysis. In this study, 27 studies that met the inclusion criteria were analyzed. The inclusion criteria in this study are 1) the research was published in 2021-2024; 2) the research must be relevant; 3) research must be reputable indexed by SINTA or Scopus; 4) The research must report complete data. The data was analyzed using Excel and JASP applications by presenting the results of effect size, funnel plot, and publication bias. The results of the analysis concluded that mobile learning had a positive influence on the critical thinking ability of prospective early childhood education teachers compared to other learning (g = 1.204; 95% CI 1.007; 1.401; p < 0.001). (This finding informs that mobile learning is effective in improving the critical thinking skills of prospective early childhood education teachers.
