Abstract

Islamic Corporate Social Responsibility (ICSR) is an idea that combines sharia principles in the action of corporate social obligations. This study aims to describe and examine the impact of Islamic Corporate Social Responsibility (ICSR) on financial performance projected using the Return On Equity (ROE) indicator in Islamic commercial banks. The research strategy used was panel regression analysis with the help of IBM Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) program version 24. The results showed that there was no significant positive influence between ICSR and financial performance at Islamic Commercial Banks in Indonesia. This indicates that the ICSR practices implemented by these banks have not contributed significantly to the achievement of their financial performance. This finding is consistent with sharia principles that emphasize the importance of justice, togetherness, and sustainability in business activities. This study contributes to the understanding of the relationship between ICSR and financial performance in the context of Islamic banking in Indonesia. The practical implication of the findings is that Islamic banks can gain long-term benefits by implementing ICSR practices that are consistent with sharia principles, not only from a moral and social perspective, but also from a financial perspective.

Abstract

Human resources are resources that play an important role in achieving company goals. Good human resource management will have a positive impact on the company concerned. This research was conducted to determine the effect of Work- Life Balance on job satisfaction and employee performance at Bank BSI KCP Medan Adam Malik. This type of research is explanatory research, which focuses on explaining the relationship between variables, namely the independent variable, namely work-life balance (X), the dependent variable, namely job satisfaction (Y1) and employee performance (Y2). The respondents in this research were all 36 employees of Bank BSI KCP Medan Adam Malik. The data collection method was carried out through distributing questionnaires as a primary source and literature study as a secondary source. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that work-life balance has a significant effect on job satisfaction and work-life balance has an effect on the performance of Bank BSI KCP Medan Adam Malik employees. Apart from that, work-life balance influences employee performance through job satisfaction of Bank BSI KCP Medan Adam Malik employees.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of distributing subsidized Sharia KPR financing to Bank Sumut KCP Syariah Kota Baru Marelan. For low-income people (MBR). The focus of this research is 1). What is the mechanism for distributing subsidized mortgages at Bank Sumut KCP Syariah in the city of Baru Marelan to low-income people, whether as permanent employees or traders who earn daily income. 2). What is the level of effectiveness of subsidized KPR distribution at Bank Sumut KCP Syariah in the city of Baru Marelan for low-income people (MBR). This method uses qualitative methods, namely interviews, observation and documentation. The results show that the distribution of subsidized KPR at Bank Sumut KCP Syariah Kota Baru Marelan with Murabahah contracts is effective for MBR. Through interviews with resource persons, it was found that the selection and disbursement process of funds was carried out well. This bank has clear procedures for accepting subsidized KPR. Apart from that, it can also be seen that in the last 5 years the demand for subsidized Sharia KPR has increased, this can be seen from the data obtained from sources. However, in this mortgage, of course there are problems related to bad credit in the mortgage, but the bank already has several ways to resolve this problem. The level of effectiveness of this program is quite effective because KPR distribution is given right on target to low-income people (MBR) both as permanent employees and daily earners

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai pengaruh standar akuntansi pemerintahan, pengendalian intern, dan kompetensi sumber daya manusia terhadap kualitas laporan keuangan pemerintah daerah. Data dikumpulkan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada staf/pegawai di Badan Keuangan dan Aset Daerah Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Penelitian ini melibatkan 35 responden yang merupakan pegawai yang terlibat dalam pelaporan keuangan di instansi tersebut. Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah non-probability sampling melalui purposive sampling. Model penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan standar akuntansi pemerintahan dan kompetensi sumber daya manusia berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kualitas laporan keuangan pemerintah daerah, sedangkan pengendalian internal tidak berpengaruh.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of BOPO, CAR and NPF on the level of profit sharing from mudarabah savings in Islamic commercial banks. Secondary data was obtained from OJK banking financial data on sharia commercial banks. For 2017-2022. The analysis was carried out using the horizontal multivariate method with the help of the Aveo 12 application. The results of the partial significance test showed that the calculated t value for the difference in BOPO was -10.67, which was smaller than the significance of 2.14479 from the t table. This shows that variations in BOPO have a negative effect on the level of profit sharing on Mudarabah deposits. On the other hand, the calculated t value for the difference in CAR is 0.24, which is lower than the table of 2.14479, which shows that this difference does not have a significant effect on the level of profit sharing on mudarabah deposits. However, for the NPF income variable, the t-calculated value was 4.801, higher than the t-table value of 2.14479. Therefore, it can be concluded that this change has a significant effect on the level of profit sharing on Mudarabah deposits. Apart from that, statistical analysis (R Square) shows that the independent variable of this research is able to explain 85.7% of the variation in the variable, namely the Mudarabah Deposit Profit Sharing Rate. The remaining 14.3% was caused by other external factors and these differences were not included in this study.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the employee recruitment and selection process carried out by PT Bakie Sumatera Plantations from an Islamic perspective. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Retrieval of data obtained using interview techniques and field observations. The implementation of the recruitment and selection carried out by PT Bakrie Sumatera Plantations prioritizes the capabilities of prospective employees. The method used by PT Bakrie is also in accordance with Islamic principles which use an open system by using social media and cooperation with the Department of Labor as information dissemination. The nepotism that was carried out at PT Bakrie was based on the ability of prospective employees with a record of passing the tests determined by the company.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to determine the variables that can predict the financial distress of Islamic banks in Indonesia for the period to 2018-2022. Methodology: This research is quantitative with secondary data types. This study uses the variable (Return On Equity) ROE, (Cash To Deposits) CTD, (Loans To Assets) LTA as its independent variable, while the dependent variable is Financial Distress. The Financial Distress Indicator used in this study is the ROA categorized ratio (return on assets). Results: The results of this study indicate that 2 Independent financial ratio variables can predict financial distress, namely, ROE and CTD. These results are shown from the linear discriminant analysis using the independent variables and from the formation of the discriminant function coefficient values. Limitations: The Financial Distress Indicator used in this study is the ROA categorized ratio (return on assets). The analysis used in this study is a linear discriminant analysis that requires the dependent variable to be in the form of a category and is used to form the coefficient of the discriminant function. Contribution: Purposive sampling was conducted with a total sample of 14 Islamic Commercial Banks. This study is quantitative research with secondary data types.

Abstract

Pertumbuhan dana pihak ketiga (DPK) perbankan syariah utamanya bersumber dari naiknya simpanan deposito mudharabah yang kemudian disusul oleh tabungan mudharabah dan giro wadiah yang juga mengalami peningkatan, walaupun peningkatan pada giro wadiah tidak sebanding dengan peningkatan yang terjadi pada deposito murabahah dan tabungan mudharabah.Pertumbuhan DPK yang signifikan ini tentunya menimbulkan pertanyaan tentang apa sebenarnya yang menjadi faktor dominan nasabah ketika memilih untuk menggunakan jasa perbankan syariah. Dalam hal ini ada beberapa faktor yang berkaitan dengan pengambilan keputusan oleh si nasabah, yaitu faktor paling dominan terdapat dalam segi bidang pemasaran faktor pemasaran, dimana promosi yang dilakukan oleh pihak bank serta produk-produk yang ditawarkan yang menarik, beragam dan inovatif dan juga bank sendiri dapat memberikan presentase bagi hasil kompetitif yang dapat menarik minat calon nasabah untuk menabung di bank syariah tersebut. dalam hal ini, Akad Bagi Hasil Tabungan Mudharabah merupakan salah satu dari beberapa pilihan tabungan yang disediakan kepada masyarakat oleh Bank Sumut Syariah KCPSimpang Kayu Besar. Bagi hasil (Mudharabah) yang paling banyak diminati oleh nasabah adalah saat ini. Dengan semakin banyaknya perkembangan bank syariah di Indonesia, Kondisi persaingan bisnis perbankan ini mendorong setiap bankir untuk mencari berbagai strategi pelayanan terbaik agar dapat menarik minat investor (nasabah).

Abstract

Mitra Iqra Plus is one of the products owned by PT. Asuransi Jiwa Syariah Bumiputera, Medan Branch, which aims to help fund children's education. The purpose of this study was to determine the development strategy of Mitra Iqra Plus in the orientation of insurance market segmentation at PT. Asuransi Jiwa Syariah Bumiputera, Medan Branch. This type of research uses qualitative research. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that PT Asuransi Jiwa Syariah Bumiputera, Medan Branch is in accordance with sharia elements, namely it does not contain maysir (gambling), gharar (uncertainty), haram, usury, and bathil. The contracts used at Mitra Iqra Plus are Tabarru contracts, Wakalah bil ujrah contracts, and Mudharabah contracts. The marketing strategy chosen is to use a traditional marketing channel strategy through agents. The goal is to provide the best service and satisfaction to prospective customers.

Abstract

This study aims to see the effect of Product Quality and Product Design on Purchasing Decisions for Erspo jersey products for the Indonesian national football team with Fanaticism as mediation. This research uses a quantitative approach with data collection techniques using questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents who buy the jersey, this research was analyzed using Smart PLS 4.0. The results of this study indicate that Product Quality has no effect on Purchasing Decisions, Product Design has no effect on Purchasing Decisions, Fanaticism has an effect on Purchasing Decisions, Fanaticism cannot mediate the impact of Product Quality on Purchasing Decisions, Fanaticism cannot mediate the impact of Product Design on Purchasing Decisions. Which means that consumers do not care about the Product Quality and Product Design, consumers only follow their Fanaticism in supporting the National Team to buy Erspo Jersey products for the Indonesian National Soccer Team.
