Abstract

This study aimed to demonstrate a valid and reliable discrepancy evaluation instrument. It was for measuring inequality in the online learning process for mathematics education research subjects. The approach to this research was instrument development, which focuses on several stages, including defining variables, describing variables into more detailed indicators, compiling instrument items, conducting instrument trials, and analyzing the results of instrument trials. The subjects involved in the content validity test were two experts, while the reliability test was 40 students. The result analysis of the content validity test used the Gregory formula. The result analysis of the reliability test results used the Cronbach alpha formula. It indicated that the results of the instrument content validity were very good, and the reliability test results were in the moderate category. The resulting impact of this study on educational evaluation development was new knowledge, especially for evaluators of mathematics education, about the importance of content validity and reliability of the discrepancy evaluation instrument used to measure inequality in the online learning process in mathematics education research subjects.

Abstract

Low critical thinking skills are the main problem of this research. This research aims to develop LKPD based on HOTS-oriented case studies on material changing the shape of objects in class IV elementary school. This research is of the research and development (R&D) type using the ADDIE development model. The main data comes from the subjects of class IV students at SD No. 2 Gulingan, Mengwi District, totaling 25 students. Data was analyzed descriptively and quantitatively. Data were analyzed through validity and practicality tests with average ranges and effectiveness analysis with t-tests. Experts assess the validity test, the practicality test is assessed by teachers and students as practitioners, and the effectiveness test is a field test on students to see its effectiveness on critical thinking abilities. Based on the average assessment results of content and media experts, the results were 93.33% and 94.80% with very good qualifications. Then, the average result of the practicality test by teachers was 92.73% with very good qualifications, and from students, it was 94.28% with very good qualifications. Based on trials on students, the obtained significance value (2-tailed) < 0.05, namely 0.00 < 0.05, so the LKPD developed was declared effective in improving the critical thinking skills of fourth-grade students in elementary school. So, the HOTS-oriented case study-based LKPD material on changes in the form of objects in class IV elementary school, which was developed, is suitable as teaching material because it has been proven to be valid, practical, and effectively used to improve the critical thinking skills of class IV elementary school students.

Abstract

Currently there is a challenge in learning mathematics, namely creative thinking. Many students were found to have low mathematical creative thinking abilities. Therefore, this study aims to develop STEM-based learning module with a focus on Balinese ethnomathematics to improve students' creative mathematical thinking. This research used a plomp research design, this research involved 105 high school students who continued through the preliminary research, prototyping and assessment stages. Various instruments are used, including validation sheets, practicality assessments, and essay tests, using descriptive analysis. This research resulted in the creation of quality STEM-based learning modules, validated for their effectiveness and practicality. This module integrates elements of Balinese ethnomathematics, featuring instructional videos and interactive GeoGebra elements. This study identified learning trajectories involving three main activities related to middle school geometric transformations. The implementation of the module provides a significant increase in students' mathematical creative thinking abilities, as evidenced by the post-test results and the calculated n-gain value. In conclusion, the module developed is a valid, practical and effective tool for improving students' creative mathematical thinking, which combines STEM principles and Balinese ethnomathematics. The study emphasizes the importance of integrating cultural elements into educational materials to foster a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts. These findings underscore the potential of this approach to make a positive contribution to mathematics education, particularly in the context of local cultural relevance.

Abstract

The low results of science learning are one of the things that underlie this research. This study aims to determine the effect of the inquiry model on science learning outcomes in terms of students’ self-regulated learning. The type of research used in this study is a quasi-experimental design with a posttest-only control group design. The population of the study is all fifth-grade students of SDN Gugus II Gianyar, totaling 180 students. Sampling used a random sampling technique and obtained two classes, with total 65 students. Data collection used test and non-test methods. Data were analyzed using ANOVA AB analysis. The results of the study showed: 1) The science learning outcomes of students who were taught with the inquiry model were better than those of students who were taught with the conventional model; 2) There was an interactive effect between the inquiry model and self-regulated learning on science learning outcomes; 3) In students with high self-regulated learning, there was a difference in science learning outcomes between students who were taught with the inquiry model and students who were taught with the conventional model; 4) In students with low self-regulated learning, there was a difference in science learning outcomes between students who were taught using the inquiry model and students who were taught using the conventional model. Based on the findings obtained, it can be concluded that the inquiry model has an effect on the results of science learning in terms of students’ self-regulated learning.

Abstract

Rendahnya hasil belajar matematika salah satu penyebabnya adalah sikap negatif siswa terhadap matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalis pengaruh penerapan pendidikan matematika realistik terhadap hasil belajar matematika pada siswa dengan pengendalian kemampuan numerik. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan desain Single Factor Independent groups design with use of covariate dengan kovariabel kemampuan numerik. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 168 orang siswa. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 72 orang siswa yang ditentukan dengan tehnik random sampling. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode tes. Teknik analisi data menggunakan Anava satu jalan, Anakova dan Product Moment. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penerapan pendidikan matematika realistik terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa (Fhitung 9,145 > Ftabel = 3,98, p <0,05), setelah kovariabel kemampuan numerik dikendalikan, terdapat pengaruh penerapan pendidikan matematika realistik terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa (Fhitung sebesar 42,797 > Ftabel = 3,98, p <0,05), dan terdapat kontribusi yang signifikan antara kemampuan numerik dengan hasil belajar matematika siswa sebesar 81, 36%. Berdasarkan hasil temuan dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan PMR  berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas V SD baik sebelum maupun setelah dikendalikan kemampuan numerik siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitaif yang bertujuan untuk mengatahui (1) kontribusi kecerdasan interpersonal terhadap kompetensi pengetahuan ips; (2) kontribusi pemenuhan fasilitas belajar terhadap kompetensi pengetahuan IPS; (3) kontribusi keterampilan sosial terhadap kompetensi pengetahuan IPS; dan (4) kontribusi kecerdasan interpersonal, pemenuhan fasilitas belajar, dan keterampilan sosial terhadap kompetensi pengetahuan IPS. Penelitian ini berjenis ex post facto. Penelitian ini menggunakan 100 siswa kelas V SD sebagai sampel, yang dipilih secara acak. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi lembar kuesioner yang datanya dianalisis secara kuantitatif dengan uji regresi linier berganda. Penelitian ini menemukan terdapat kontribusi yang signifikan pada kecerdasan interpersonal siswa terhadap kompetensi pengetahuan IPS, pemenuhan fasilitas belajar dalam keluarga terhadap kompetensi pengetahuan IPS, keterampilan sosial siswa terhadap kompetensi pengetahuan IPS, dan kecerdasan interpersonal, pemenuhan fasilitas belajar dalam keluarga, dan keterampilan sosial terhadap kompetensi pengetahuan IPS. Oleh karena itu, Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat kontribusi signifikan antara kecerdasan interpersonal, pemenuhan fasilitas belajar dalam keluarga, dan keterampilan sosial terhadap kompetensi pengetahuan IPS siswa kelas V SD.

Abstract

Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk 1) Meningkatkan pemahaman konsep guru-guru SD Gugus III Kecamatan Kubu tentang pembelajaran tematik terpadu dengan pendekatan scientific dan 2) Meningkatkan kemampuan guru-guru SD Gugus III Kecamatan Kubu untuk membuat perencanaan dan melaksanakan pembelajaran tematik terpadu dengan pendekatan scientific. Program ini diinspirasi oleh rencana implementasi Kuikulum 2013 di SD Gugus III Kecamatan Kubu namun di sisi lain pihak sekolah khususnya para guru merasa belum siap untuk melaksanakannya. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi GUgus III Kecamatan Kubu saat ini adalah kurangnya pemahaman dn kemampuan guru-guru SD Gugus III Kecamatan KUbu dalam membuat perencanaan dan melaksanakan pembelajaran tematik terpadu dengan pendekatan scientific. Progra pengabdian ini telah dilaksanakan pada tanggal 18 Juli 2014 di SD N 4 Tianyar dalm bentuk pendidikan dan pelatihan yang terdiri dar sesi pemaparan materi, diskusi, pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran tematik terpadu dengan pendekatan scientific dan pelatihan peer teaching. Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan adalah terjadi peningkatan pemahaman dan kemampuan guru-guru SD di Gugus III Kecamatan Kubu dalam membuat perencanaan dan melaksanakan pembelajaran tematik terpadu dengan pendekatan scientific.

Abstract

This study explores the development and effectiveness of an interactive e-module based on Problem-Based Learning (PBL) to enhance students' mathematical problem-solving skills and foster noble character traits. The e-module was designed for learning fractions and aimed to address the gap in traditional learning methods that lack student engagement and motivation. The research was conducted in two primary schools, SD Negeri 6 Panji and SD Negeri 1 Baktiseraga, involving 28 students. The results demonstrated significant improvements in students’ mathematical abilities, with average post-test scores increasing from 25.04 to 86.05 at SD Negeri 6 Panji and from 19.23 to 85.81 at SD Negeri 1 Baktiseraga. Moreover, the students showed positive behavioral changes, such as consistently greeting others and helping peers, reflecting the development of moral character. This study highlights the potential of interactive e-modules in enhancing both academic skills and character development.

Abstract

Hasil belajar matematika peserta didik di SMK Negeri 5 Denpasar saat ini masih tergolong rendah, salah satu penyebabnya adalah kurangnya minat dan motivasi belajar peserta didik. Ada peserta didik yang memiliki gaya belajar visual (belajar melalui indera penglihatannya), gaya belajar auditori (belajar melalui indera pendengaran) dan gaya belajar kinestetik (belajar melalui pengalaman langsung). Ketiga jenis media tersebut disiapkan secara bersamaan untuk satu Kompetensi Dasar yaitu peluang suatu kejadian, sehingga peserta didik dapat memilih sendiri media pembelajaran yang cocok dengan gaya belajar masing-masing. Kualitas media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan diukur berdasarkan validitas, kepraktisan dan efektifitasnya dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar baik dalam ranah kognitif (pengetahuan), ranah afektif (aktivitas dan motivasi belajar) serta ranah psikomotorik (keterampilan). Memenuhi syarat validitas isi berarti media pembelajaran telah sesuai dengan prosedur pengembangan Plomp dan karakteristik pembelajaran berdiferensiasi. Untuk validitas konstruk dinilai oleh dua orang pakar media pembelajaran dengan kategori sangat valid karena skor rata-rata berada pada rentang Untuk tingkat kepraktisan penggunaan media pembelajaran berdasarkan angket respon peserta didik dan pendidik memiliki kategori praktis karena skor rata-rata berada pada rentang . Tingkat efektifitas media dalam ranah kognitif yaitu 67,25 dengan kategori sangat baik, ranah afektif dengan rata-rata skor aktivitas peserta didik 3,51 dengan kategori sangat aktif dan ranah psikomotorik ketuntasan klasikal peserta didik sebesar 90%.

Abstract

Keterampilan berpikir komputasi siswa kelas V masih rendah, terutama dalam memahami konsep pecahan. Kesulitan dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan matematika berbasis pecahan menunjukkan bahwa siswa mengalami kendala dalam dekomposisi masalah, abstraksi, serta penerapan pola dan algoritma. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menciptakan game edukasi berbasis game-based learning dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir komputasi siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan model Plomp. Subjek penelitian melibatkan sejumlah siswa kelas V, sementara uji coba produk dilakukan dalam tiga tahap, yaitu uji coba terbatas, uji coba lapangan I, dan uji coba lapangan II. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, wawancara, angket LORI dan UEQ, serta tes pre-test dan post-test. adalah lembar angket yang menggunakan skala likert. Analisis data dilakukan melalui uji kelayakan, uji kepraktisan menggunakan metode UEQ, serta uji efektivitas menggunakan n-gain score. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa game edukasi memperoleh skor kelayakan dengan kriteria sangat layak. Uji coba lapangan tahap I dan II menunjukkan kepraktisan dengan kriteria sangat baik. Pengujian efektivitas melalui n-gain score menghasilkan nilai rata-rata yang termasuk dalam kategori efektivitas tinggi. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa game edukasi yang dikembangkan dapat menjadi solusi inovatif dalam pembelajaran pecahan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir komputasi siswa. Implikasi penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi game-based learning dalam pembelajaran matematika dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa.
