The purpose of this study was to determine the level of difficulty of the odd semester exam items in the arts and culture class VII SMPN 7 Padang academic year 2020/ 2021 based on the level of diffuculty. The type of research used in this research is descriptive quantitative research. The subjects in this study were all students of class VII.3 SMPN 7 Padang in the academic year 2020/ 2021. The subjects in this study were all students of class VII.3 SMPN 7 Padang in the academic year 2020/2021 with the object of research namely questions, lists of grades & remedial items for students on the mid-semester test and the answer key for the odd mid-semester test. The data were obtained by collecting data by means of documentary studies. Based on the data analysis, it was determined that the results of the analysis of the difficulty level of the odd semester examination questions for arts and culture class VII SMPN 7 Padang academic year 2020/2021 were 33 items (66%) stated in accordance with the difficulty index.

This study aims to reveal the students ' perception on the application of the lecture method plus and The imitation method applied by the art of culture teacher at SMA Negeri 3 Pariaman on learning presentation of musical works. This research is a type of quantitative study with a descriptive analysis approach. This Data is derived from the results of poll distribution, interviews, and observations, then processed using the TCR score formula and percentages. The first indicator in Questionnaire 1 isAcceptance. It shows how well the students receive the treatment and procedures fromthe teachers who apply the plus lecture method when teaching in the classroom. The score obtained from this indicator is 82, and it is categorized Very well. The second indicator is Understanding. It showshow well the students understand the whole material taught by the the teachers who applied the plus lecture method in the classroom. The score obtained from this indicator is 70.5, and it is categorized Good. The third one is the Assessment indicator. It showsthe students' views towards the assessment given by the teachers who applied the plus lecture method on all aspects of the assessment available to students. The score obtained is 85 3, and it is categorized Very Good. The total score of the three indicators in questionnaire 1 was 238.The first indicator in Questionnaire 2 is Acceptance.It shows how well students receive the learning process given by the teachers applying the imitation method. The score obtained is 97, and it is categorized Very Good. The second indicator isUnderstanding. It shows how well students understand the materials taught and exemplified by the teachers who apply the imitation method to students. The score obtained is 93.3, and it is categorized Very Good. The third one isAssessment indicator. It showsthe students' views towards the accuracy of the teachers assessments viewed from various assessment aspects. The score obtained is 86, and it is also categorized Very Good. The total score of the three indicators is 276.

Abstract The music arrangement of Talago Biru was inspired by (1) the melody of accompaniment music in dance performance and as an instructional material in the Dendang course. The purpose of this artwork is (2) to clarify that the musical arrangement is a new model of music arrangement based the writer’s ability and to add more value of an artwork without eliminating the main idea or the core of Talago Biru Music arrangement. The form presented in this artwork is (3) the combination of traditional music (dendang) with western musical styles that have been tied to the bars pattern without eliminating the typical character of dendang Kata kunci : Model garapan baru, Musik Tradisonal, Musik Modern.

The purpose of this research is to describe the processes of student motivation improvement in learning local folk music of the 7th grader in SMP Negeri 3 junior high school Bukittinggi by applying “cooperative learning, the group investigation type.” This kind of research is class action research. The datum to be observed in this research are from practical examination by playing local folk music using instrument, observing student motivation, assessing student motivation and doing field note. The research is done in two cycles, cycle I and cycle II. Each of them has two meetings. Every cycle consists of four events which are planning, action, observation, and reflection.

Abstract The research aimend at describing the implementation of cooperative learning model teams games tournament type toward students’ activities in learning music which was better than implementing conventional model at SMP Negeri 1 Padang. Two cllasses werw taken as the sample of the research. VII D was as the control and VII F was as the experiment class. The data was taken from questionnaire given to all sample classes. Before the data was managed, nornality and homogeneity tests were done, followed by descriptive analysis. The result of the research showed that the activities of class used cooperative learning TGT type (Teams Games Tournament) were better than the classused convetional method. The object of the research is the Music strategiesLearning at the daerah setempat. The datawere collectedby observation, interview, library study,anddocumentation. This research was interactively analyzed,such as collecting the data, clarifying the data,organizingthe findings, and drawing a conclusion. The result of research is that cultural-art teacher of junior high school 6 Padang who specially teach at the class of VII-2 have the strategy in the process of learning at the class. Abstract The background of this research is based on the low of the students, interest play sarunai. Specially to the students of grade X in SMAN 5 South solok. The goal of this research is to reveal that the using of demonstrasion can increase the students, interest in playing sarunai in grade X-1 in SMAN 5 South Solok. The benefit of this research is as the input for the art and culture teacher especially in SMAN 5 South Solok in increasing the interest of students in learning play sarunai.This research is class action research that in done by using the model of cycle that divided into 4 steps that is planning, action, observation, and reflection. The sample of this research is the students of grade X-1 SMAN South Solok semester 2 january-june 2013 with 30 students. The instrument that is used is observation sheet as tally list. That contents of analyzed by using the percentage formula P= (F/N) X 100%.The result of the research shows that there is the increasing of the students, interest in playing sarunai in cycle 1 is 54,6 % and in the 2 is 81,9 % it means there is the increasing the students interest to play sarunai by using demonstrasion method from the cycle 1 to cycle 2 is 27,3 %. Key words: the increasing of students, intereset play sarunai music by the demonstration method.

Pelaksanaan Ekstrakurikuler Paduan Suara Di SMA Adabiah 2 Padang Badrianti Anugrah Putri; Ardipal Ardipal

This study aims to describe the implementation of the choir extracurricular at SMA Adabiah 2 Padang. This is a qualitative research with a descriptive analysis approach. The research instrument used was the researcher itself and was assisted by supporting instruments such as writing instruments and cameras. The data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature study. The data analysis was conducted by collecting the data, clarifying the data, and concluding the data. The results show that the implementation of choir extracurricular activity at SMA Adabiah 2 Padang run well due to the fact that it was conducted through the correct stages, starting from gathering students who were interested in choir extracurricular activities, scheduling, training agendas, and giving materials. In the implementation stage of the choir, students can sing the Ayam Den Lapeh song in a choir which consists of two voices, soprano and the alto voice. The choir extracurricular activity was held for the first time at SMA Adabiah 2 Padang, but the results are quite good because it was supported by sufficient facilities. Eventhough they do not have a permanent trainer, the teacher has been able to carry out these extracurricular activities well.

This research purpose to for describe and explain how applying of method study of CTL in study of legitimate stage. Research type qualitative with descriptive approach of analysis. Technique data collecting through book study, interview and observation. Result of this research find that study steps conducted is forming group (learning comunity). Giving modeling, question and answer (questioning), student find Iesson items (inkuiri), conducting refleksion and authentic assessment to student. Assessment taken to passing test practice to the fore class grouply, while its value is group value and individual value. Peningkatan Kemampuan Bernyanyi Siswa Secara Unisono Menggunakan Metode Tutor Sebaya Di Kelas VII.1 SMPN 6 Sijunjung Kemri Firdana; Ardipal Ardipal

This study aims to findstudents improvements in learning to sing local folk songs in unison singing through peer tutor method in class VII.1 at SMP Negeri 6 Sijunjung. This research was conducted in March-July 2020. The research subjects were 30 studentsof class VII.1 at SMP Negeri 6 Sijunjung. This study applied peer tutor method in learning music in unisono singing and wasconducted in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of 2 meetings. The 2 meetings consisted of four stages: planning, implementing actions, observing, reflecting, and evaluating. The data were collected through field notes, observations, performance tests, and interviews. The data analysis conducted was the result of implementing the actions taken. The results show that there is an improvement in unisonosinging ability by using peer tutor method forstudents in class VII.1 at SMP Negeri 6 Sijunjung. This improvement can be seen in the quality of the process shown through students’enthusiasm and activeness in learning music.The improvement in the result quality can be seen from the increase in score and average before and after the implementation. The average value before implementation is 44.12. In the first cycle the average value increases to 70.03, and in the second cycle it increases to 84.19.The average from pre-action to cycle II has increased by 40.07 and has met the Minimum Completion Criteria which is 75. From the above research, it is known that peer tutor method succeeds in improving student learning outcomes in singing local folk songs in class VII.1 at SMP Negeri 6 Sijunjung.
