Abstract

Micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) have a role in economic development, but over time face challenges in business development and marketing. This research aims to help micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Sombo Village, Lumajang Regency through assistance in the development of businesses run in the process of packaging, branding, and online marketing. The Asset-Based Community Development approach was used with five stages: inculturation, discovery, design, define, and reflection. The mentoring targets are producers of taro chips, bananas, belantik goats and sheep. This activity was carried out using methods including observation, interviews, and direct assistance. The results of the activity include recommendations for using the latest packaging with the creation of a hygienic, safe and modern brand logo for traders as a packaging process and business branding with the production of chips increasing from 36-200 pcs / week to 50-240 pcs / week. While for belantik is assistance for branding and marketing of goats and sheep by utilizing social media with sales results increasing to 2 times. This was done as a marketing tactic to attract customers' attention which had an impact on increasing sales. The output of the activity is in the form of instructions for making packaging labels, ready-to-use designs, and branding social media accounts. The resulting positive impacts include increased product competitiveness, local economic empowerment, and expansion of marketing networks and local economic development. The development of brand identity through unique logos and packaging and the application of digital marketing strategies are significant novelties in this research.

Abstract

This article discusses the role of the Education Office in the implementation of the Computer-Based National Assessment (ANBK) as an effort to guarantee the quality of education in Mojokerto Regency. The Mojokerto Regency Education Office as a government institution that focuses on the implementation of some affairs in the field of education. This study aims to see how much the role of the Education Office in the implementation of the Computer-Based National Assessment towards ensuring the quality of education in Mojokerto Regency. The research method uses qualitative descriptive, using the case study method. The results of the study indicate that the Mojokerto Regency Education Office has played an active role in the implementation of this ANBK, where the Mojokerto Regency Education Office acts as a mediator, as a supervisor and companion, as well as a data processor. The Mojokerto Regency Education Office continues to strive to improve the quality of education in the Mojokerto area. This study is expected to produce applicable input to support the improvement of the quality of education in Mojokerto Regency.

Abstract

BOS funds are a form of government work that aims to provide equitable education and reduce the burden of education costs for students, especially in madrasahs that often face challenges in managing funds. Limited resources and the need for accountability in the use of funds are important issues that need to be addressed. The e-RKAM application is expected to improve transparency and accountability in the management of BOS funds, thereby minimizing irregularities and increasing public trust in the use of education funds. This study aims to analyse the optimization of transparency in the management of School Operational Assistance Funds (BOS) in madrasah in East Java, focusing on the strategic role of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of East Java Province through the e-RKAM application. The method used is a case study with a qualitative approach. The use of various data sources, such as participatory observation, document analysis and involving in-depth interviews with madrasah managers and related parties in the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of East Java. The results showed that the e-RKAM application functions as an effective tool in improving transparency and accountability in the management of BOS funds. With this system, fund management becomes more structured and monitored, thus minimizing irregularities and increasing public trust in the use of education funds. In addition, the study also identified challenges faced in implementing the application, including the need for training for madrasah managers and limited access to technology in some areas. The conclusion of this study emphasises the importance of continued support from the East Java regional office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs in developing the capacity of madrasahs to maximise the benefits of BOS funds and improve the quality of Islamic education in East Java.

Abstract

In this article the author constructs spiritual and social values in the Pedagogical Islamic historical perspective. A lack of understanding of Islamic pedagogy makes the negative stigma that Islamic pedagogy is only centered on the development of spirituality only, whereas Islamic pedagogy combines intellectual and spiritual development with interaction in learning. In order to achieve ideal learning, Islam offers the use of traditionalist teaching methods with the aim of forming humans spiritually, which is termed Islamic pedagogy. The idea of islamic pedagogy concept is characterized by the interplay between memorization, oral scientific transmission and writing that supports learning. The practice of Islamic pedagogy education is inseparable from the mystical approach to sacred texts. That is because the Strategy of Islamic pedagogy was formed by the revelation of the Qur'an obtained through hearing as well as Arabic culture from the relationship between memorization (memory) and oral tradition. This research uses historical methods by going through stages, namely; heuristics, source criticism, interpretation and historiography. Memorization and oral tradition were the Arabs' way of spreading knowledge long before the practice of writing was known. Educational environments (mosques, madrasah) are more characterized as spiritual construction. The existence of social interaction in oral and written methods is the basic construction of the formation of social attitudes of students.

Abstract

Technological developments in the 21st century have had a significant impact on the world of education, including Islamic Religious Education (PAI). The use of digital learning documents is an innovative solution to support more relevant, interactive and flexible learning. Various types of digital documents, such as e-books, interactive videos, infographics and Islamic podcasts, offer broad accessibility and support the diversification of students' learning styles. Additionally, digital documents can increase student engagement through interactive features, enrich the learning experience, and support independent learning. However, challenges such as infrastructure gaps, teacher digital literacy, and the need for content conformity with Islamic values are obstacles to its implementation. Using a literature review approach, this article analyzes the benefits of digital documents in PAI learning and formulates implementation strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and explore the phenomenological approach in Islamic Studies from the perspective of Annemarie Schimmel, as well as her contribution to Islamic Studies. It aims to offer a deeper understanding of Islamic beliefs, practices, and spiritual experiences. The research uses a literature review (library research) with a historical figure study approach. The researcher collected data from scientific articles, journals, books, and relevant documents, which were analyzed descriptively and qualitatively using content analysis. The findings of this study reveal that Schimmel's phenomenology is an approach that seeks to understand and penetrate the essence of religion by first examining its phenomena and then delving into the deeper layers of human responses to God until reaching the most profound sacred essence of each religion the centre, the divine, or Deus absconditus. This approach aims to interpret the meaning of Islamic teachings as understood and experienced by its followers rather than based on preconceived notions or the researcher's observations. In practice, this approach employs the concentric ring model theory, which helps create a more empathetic and objective understanding of the religious experiences of Muslims. This theory can serve as a valuable tool for interfaith dialogue and enhancing the image of Islam in the Western world.

Abstract

The era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution has brought significant changes in various aspects of life, including education. Islamic Religious Education (PAI) plays an important role in developing the transversal skills needed by students to face challenges in the modern world. This research aims to explore how PAI can contribute to the development of skills such as adaptability, collaboration, problem-solving, creativity, and effective communication. Through a literature study approach, this research analyzes various relevant scientific references, including academic journals and articles discussing the integration of religious values with 21st-century skills. The results of the study indicate that PAI not only serves as a means of teaching religious values but also as a tool to equip students with applicable skills in everyday life. Thus, PAI has the potential to shape a generation that is morally upright and ready to compete in an increasingly complex digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and describe the representation of freedom as a manifestation of the spirit of nationalism in high school students in Kediri Regency. The approach used is qualitative with a descriptive research type. The research subjects involved students, homeroom teachers, and school principals. Data collection techniques were conducted through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis used the Miles & Huberman model, which consists of three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that most students understood the concept of freedom from the laws and regulations, while others still had a wrong understanding. The phenomena experienced by students, including the abuse of freedom by unscrupulous officials, affect their perspective on the value of freedom and nationalism. Therefore, government officials must act with discipline as a form of character education for the younger generation. This study contributes to strengthening the nationalist spirit of the millennial generation by using Kartodirdjo's theory as a foundation for understanding the dynamics of the national spirit amidst the challenges of the times.

Abstract

Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka sebagai inovasi pendidikan memerlukan pendekatan sistematis untuk memahami proses adopsinya di tingkat satuan pendidikan. Artikel ini menganalisis implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka melalui lensa teori difusi inovasi Rogers, dengan fokus pada faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi penerimaan dan penyebarannya di SMP Al-Ghozali Arosbaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi lapangan, mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara mendalam dengan 15 guru, observasi partisipatif, serta analisis dokumen kebijakan seperti Peraturan Mendikbudristek No. 56 Tahun 2022 dan laporan implementasi kurikulum di sekolah tahun 2023–2025. Teori Rogers menyoroti lima atribut inovasi keunggulan relatif, kompatibilitas, kompleksitas, kemampuan uji coba, dan observabilitas sebagai kerangka analisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adopsi Kurikulum Merdeka di SMP Al-Ghozali dipengaruhi oleh persepsi guru terhadap manfaat kurikulum (keunggulan relatif), kesesuaian dengan visi sekolah (kompatibilitas), serta dukungan kebijakan dan infrastruktur. Sumber sekunder seperti laporan Kemendikbud tahun 2023 dan kajian Supriyanto memperkuat temuan bahwa tantangan utama meliputi resistensi terhadap perubahan, keterbatasan pemahaman konsep Merdeka Belajar, dan disparitas kapasitas antar-sekolah. Peran agen perubahan (pelatih ahli dan komunitas praktisi) juga terbukti krusial dalam mempercepat difusi inovasi, sebagaimana diidentifikasi dalam wawancara. Rekomendasi yang diajukan mencakup penguatan pelatihan berbasis kebutuhan, pendampingan berkelanjutan, dan optimalisasi media komunikasi untuk meningkatkan adopsi kurikulum. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi teoretis dalam memahami dinamika perubahan kurikulum serta implikasi praktis bagi pemangku kepentingan pendidikan. Penelitian ini memperkaya literatur dengan menggabungkan data primer wawancara, observasi dan sekunder yaitu kebijakan, laporan, artikel untuk analisis yang komprehensif.
